FlourishBox "Holiday" 2019 Review

The first item is the insert card, providing some information on the items you will find in your box. It emphasizes their focus on ethically sourced products. The workers who make these items are paid fairly and work in safe spaces. I think this is really important and this adds so much value to this subscription for me without even knowing what is in it.

Silk Scarf

Oooooh, I really love this pattern. It is kind of an oversized abstract fern, and I am into it. The base of the scarf is black, while the botanical design is in a very soft pinkish lilac. I am pleased that this scarf isn't overly "holiday", meaning I can wear it year-round. It is 100% silk and has a nice sheen. You could loop this scarf around your neck or tie it into a chic knot.

Admittedly I look a little tired in this picture. I blame the holidays!!

Mini Knit Llama

How freaking cute is this lil' llama! He even has a loop so you can use him as a Christmas ornament if you like. We have lots of handmade ornaments like this on our tree, so I plan on making that his home.

Unreal Peanut Butter Cups - Buy 40 for $32.99

Yes, feed me all the chocolate cups, please. These were absolutely delicious. They were filled with that sort of dry type of peanut butter filling, but I really enjoy that texture.

Verdict: FlourishBox was quite lovely this quarter, and had enough holiday cheer to feel appropriate, but not cheesy. I love silk scarves and anything botanical, so the sketched design on this one works really well with my taste and wardrobe. The llama was beyond cute, and I am very rarely disappointed with chocolate.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
