Received an email two nights ago that it’s been upgraded to PhoneSoap Pro (twice the lights, half the time). RV is $40 higher ($120 vs. $80). I wonder if we get the colors. I really want it in red.

I’m hoping for the mint color, but black or white would be good. I’m sure it will be random. I’ll probably end up with lavender or blue, my least favorite. Anxious for spoiler number two.

I wish their boxes was a little cheaper, like maybe somewhere between $75 – $100.

Will this fit the iPhone 11 Pro Max?

I have one of these “phone soaps” and bought another for a gift this past Christmas. The good- UV kills germs hiding in the crevices that the Clorox wipe can’t reach. The bad- if you leave your phone to charge in it, don’t expect to hear any notifications across the room, it is pretty solid box. Also this “phone soap” does nothing for finger grease on the screen and case grime. What kills 2 birds with one stone and a whole lot cheaper – Everclear (or whatever brand high % food-grade with zero flavor/color additives alcohol you can get) in fine mist spray bottle. Kills both germs (including Coronavirus) & dissolves grease & evaporates in matter of seconds. “Go to the liquor store” is not something I expected to hear from my doctor! Lol I actually had to read through latest MSA reviews to decide which facial spray bottle to repurpose. Works great!
As far as Breo box itself I’ve been a subscriber for 2 years & just cancelled it (hard decision to make being at the lowest price level) but seems like a lot of their stuff now is random and can be found at close out stores for much much cheaper. The drone was a joke, so is a Go-Pro knock off. The value vs cost is not that great, some boxes not even a double (even FFF value is 4-6 times over cost) and if you don’t like the main item, the value is not there at all. The “smart key tile” quit after 1 month. The smart food scale calorie values are all over the place. The overpriced digital books downloads that came with it & were included in value were just plain advertising. Seeing their $100+ hero items on AliExpress for $15 made me cancel.

I’ve been a subscriber for about a year and feel the same way. The value hasn’t been there and their retail values of the knockoff/non-name brand products are obscenely inflated. You could even save money by buying the box items individually online. The drone and action camera weren’t worth more than $50, and that’s being generous. It’s too bad because I love receiving a box full of new gadgets to try. It may be time to cancel.

Thank you for a super reasonable suggestion!! Booze is def something I never thought to use!

I have this next to my desk at work and end up using it a couple of times a week. I have not done any scientific testing but I’m relying on the claims of the company and the testing of others, and it certainly can’t hurt. I also use it to clean cards that I use a lot (subway card, credit card, building ID) that either touch outside surfaces or other people handle.

For free I will just use a lysol wipe from my cleaning supplies.

Reply ButtonReply

MissJ

omg, did you steal lysol wipes??

Reply ButtonReply

AnninVA

No. They are free because I already have them and I’m not spending on a Breo box lol!

amber

lol no kidding! This seems a little gimmicky to me, but not surprising from Breo.

I love this! I am so happy I subscribed to this box. I have received so many cool things! Can’t wait for more spoilers

I have been wanting one of these for a while. Love. Will try to swap for a 2nd.

Will it fit a Samsung Note 5? It’s a big phone.

Great item, exactly the type of thing you’d expect from breo. Almost all of my favorite things come from this box.

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these. Great start to the box!

I regularly wipe my phone down with a Clorox wipe. What does this do that that doesn’t?

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

It also acts as a charging port and doesn’t create waste. Less hands-on as well.

Reply ButtonReply

AC

haha, well it will create plenty of waste when it stops working and needs thrown away. I’m pretty sure a clorox wipe will degrade much quicker than this. But I guess it IS a lot of work to perform a wiping motion…..

Stelle

I wipe my phone with alcohol prep wipes… Since I have the case and screen protector, I just wipe them off… Really easy

It’s got great reviews, including from people who have used agar dishes and swabs to test its effectiveness. I wash my hands almost compulsively but never sanitize my phone (though it’s obvious that I should if I think about it). Thanks again, Breo Box, for bringing me yet another item that I didn’t know I needed but will likely become am everyday part of my life (like my Cold Brew maker, macro food scale, smart bodyfat scale, lint brush and more)!

Oh dang, I saw something similar on Shark Tank and I’ve been wanting one of these. I’ve never signed up for Breo before, are there usually more spoilers?

Reply ButtonReply

socaldeb

Probably one or two more, but they’re really bad about it.

This is the one that was on Shark Tank!

I almost purchased the PhoneSoap, so am VERY excited to see it in my Breo Box! Thanks, Aleks!

Julia

@Aleks…I thought I had read that the wood boxes were out, like no more wooden boxes?? Myself personally I really love them and happy to see them included in the description.

Jen

I actually have a phone soap, and I use it all the time! 🙂 I can’t tell whether it’s as effective as they claim (because I can’t see the bacteria etc), but I’m hopeful that it helps to keep me healthy!

Carey

Do I need this? lol Didn’t know this was a “thing”

Reply ButtonReply

Becky

They’ve been around a while, but not very widely known. I bought one for an ex about 5 years ago, but only because he had severe OCD. Definitely excited for this though because I am TERRIBLE about cleaning my phone and don’t even want to think about what it looks like under a microscope…

I was thinking the same thing! Can’t say this isn’t a new item in a sub box.
