meowbox December 2019 Review
meowbox has a lot of exclusive toys that are usually pretty popular with my cats. From my perspective, it’s nice to see some things that don’t turn up in other cat subscription boxes:
The information card typically just gives a URL for finding out more information about the items in the box. The picture is adorable, as usual. This month had a Christmas theme. There was also an advertisement.
Shine Bright Catmas Light
This has a pull tab; if you take that out, and toss the toy or even just hit it a bit, it will light up and make a noise. The kitties weren’t sure what to think of that but they did find it worth investigating, and they liked the string tail quite a lot as well.
The Empurrium Christmas Sweater Toy
The Empurrium toys show up in this box fairly often. I like that the box is supporting a small, independent maker. This is just felt with catnip but sometimes simple is good. Monkey wouldn’t stop rubbing his face on this.
Jingle All the Way Wand
There’s usually a themed wand toy in the box and this one has some jingle bells on ribbon. They’re not real bells, just plush rattle balls. Angus and Sneaky were fans, as usual. The string part did tend to get a bit tangled but nothing I couldn’t undo.
Emerald Pet Feline Dental Treats, Catnip (3 oz) – Retail Value $3.99
These show up fairly often in cat subscription boxes although not usually the catnip flavor. Sneaky and Madison are my treat-eating cats and they both liked these. Naturally, Angus, the cat with terrible teeth, can’t eat these treats due to his IBD, so I can’t say whether they help with dental issues or not, but they are crunchy and big enough that the cats do have to do some biting and/or chewing instead of swallowing whole.
Catmus Music Crinkle Toy
This is a crinkle toy with a surprise inside. It is small and it makes a lot of noise so it has found a home in the home office where we can’t hear it at night. Angus spent a lot of time biting this one, which was a little strange but hey, whatever works.

My kitties got theirs for Christmas this morning. They loved the contents!
I just love the top of kitty heads, like Angus in picture # 5. Thank you for always sharing the pics of your pretty kitties!
