Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new VIP members. (It's unclear if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Put simply, this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. (But they will automatically charge you if you take no action.) You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics VIP Membership December Puffer Coat Review
Back in October, Fabletics released a line of puffers (as in coats and vests). It wasn't quite cold enough for me to be interested then, but wouldn't you know it- Cyber Monday fell right near the first of the month (the second, to be fair) and they were having 50% off deals! That means I was ready to choose my "outfit" for December but I was distracted by the ridiculously low prices of their winter puffers!
The Voyage Puffer Coat really caught my eye with its neon yellow zippers against a beautiful olive green body. This coat retails for $119.00 with a VIP price of $99.95 but with the 50% Cyberfest deal, I got it for a cool $49.97! Although I have a couple of winter parkas already, this looked more sporty so I thought it'd make a great addition to my coat collection.

Okay, I love this coat. It's basically like wearing a sleeping bag! I went for the medium size since I tend to wear bulky sweaters when it's cold out and never want my winter coats to fit tight. The length is great because it covers my butt but isn't so long that it makes my 5'3" frame look even shorter. Even though I was taking the photos above outside, I was super toasty since this coat is filled with fluffy polyester.

There are a lot of cool details to this puffer as well. Both sides have a neon yellow zipper that runs from the bottom of the coat all the way up to the armpit that you can unzip to expand 3.5 inches. This will come in handy after I eat one of the huge comfort meals (like lasagna) that I tend to get into a lot in the wintertime. If I was paying closer attention, I bet I could've gotten away with a size small since this would've helped my hips fit into the bottom.

The hood has snaps at either side that hold the extra fold back. Unsnap them to extend the hood out a little further for more protection against the elements. The inside of the hood is also lined with chunky olive green faux shearling for more warmth.
It also has a very sporty rubber patch at the right shoulder that is neon yellow to match the zippers.
The last feature this warm puffer has is a zipper pocket at the left side of the chest that easily fits my cellphone as well as some lip balm.
The Verdict: I am over the moon about my new Fabletics coat! Normally this would be a little more than my $49.95 monthly membership cost, but since I struck while the iron was hot, I scooped it up at a great price during their "Cyberfest" deal that was extended. I'm happy with the fit, warmth, and details of this puffer and I can't wait to wear it in the snow this year (and into 2020)!

Can you still get this item if you sign up today? Yes, this puffer is still available and apparently is staying at the $49.95 price for VIP Members even though Cyberfest is over. Woot!
