The Clean Beauty Box December/January 2019 "Beauty Sleep" Review

Each month, The Clean Beauty Box features an artist to design their box and info booklet. The latest features a floral pine print by Jess Bruggink. My booklet was missing from the box this month, but I was able to get more info from their Instagram account. The "Beauty Sleep" box features British brand AMLY who makes their second appearance in a Clean Beauty Box.

AMLY Beauty Sleep Silver Rich Face Mist, 1.01 oz. - Estimated Value $21.98 (Buy the 3.4 oz. full size for $74.00)

Mist, mist on the wall, who is the finest mist of them all? It's THIS ONE. I've gotten several toners and facial mists this month and while they're all pretty great- this one delivers the most gentle and finest mist of them all. It's kind of like being kissed by snowflakes or like, the smallest cutest whale's delicate blowhole. No? Ok. Welllll this mist is not only for your face, but it also kindly escorts you off to sleep if you spray it onto your pillow before bed as well. It's got Roman chamomile flower oil, clary sage, lavender flower oil (and flower water), and green tea to name a few ingredients that will help facilitate a good night's rest while prepping your skin for the next item...

AMLY Sleep Tight Rejuvenating Face Balm, 1.01 oz. - Retail Value $103.00

Do you see how luscious that balm looks in the second photo? Gorgeous, right? While I wouldn't personally think of this as a balm, it's somewhere in between a gel and a cream for me. It's not heavily packed and solid like some of the other balms I've come into contact with. I'm all for having products that have multiple uses, but I also have a secret love for those that have a specific use. This sleep tight balm is all about the nighttime regimen. It's a little heavy on the oil so putting it on before bed gives my skin loads of time to soak up all of its benefits. It also smells fantastic (Megan noted the prominent ylang-ylang but you should check out the amazing ingredients in the link in the product name above). My face feels incredibly renewed and plump when I wake up and it's helped with my dry skin. I've been using this balm nightly for at least a week and so little is needed to glide over my face that it looks like I've barely touched it. That makes a big difference if you were to pay the full price of $103 for this! Meaning- this lasts a long time and you should get your money's worth.

Verdict: The Clean Beauty Box always impresses me. Both products this month have beautiful packaging and I love that they are both sleepy time situations since I love a nighttime regimen. These two products have a total retail value of $124.98 which is an incredible value for the $41.95 cost.

Hi Marne, the phrase ‘being kissed by the … smallest cutest whale’s delicate blowhole’ is one I am unlikely to ever hear again, much to my regret. Yours is a truly unique form of genius. Thank you.

Box looks good too.

Is this the same box that used to be curated as the ” Art Of Organics” Clean Beauty Box? I have been looking for it under ” Art Of Organics”. Maybe they changed/ streamlined their name? Thanks for any help.

I love the smell of both, but my balm is grainy and watery, maybe the cold weather in shipping affected it. I’ve had the mist before, 2 different kinds, from Boxwalla, and they’re really amazing.

I absolutely LOVED both of these products! The smell is just divine and both products feel so luxurious on the skin.. I can’t wait to try out more products from this line! Favorite luxe skincare box by far <3
