Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Moon Jelly, 0.07 oz – Estimated Value $7 (Buy the full-size 0.16 oz version for $16)

This lip gloss is a nice change from a regular gloss- it has a shimmery lavender pearlescent finish in a clear base with some added sparkle. It took some time getting used to the unique color compared to my everyday look, but it’s growing on me. I would also say that of the three lip glosses, this had the best formula being the most lightweight and non-sticky.

tarte Sea Collection H2O Lip Gloss in Getaway, 0.033 oz – Estimated Value $4.64 (Buy full-size 0.135 oz version for $19).

I love the attention to detail in the tarte packaging- even though this is only a mini, it still has water drops on the lid to reflect the water theme of this product line. Getaway is a pretty mauve with a slight metallic finish, and of the three glosses in this kit I would call it the midway point between the very lightweight Anastasia lip gloss and the thicker NUDESTIX lip glace.

NUDESTIX Nude Plumping Lip Glace in Nude, 0.07 oz –  Estimated Value $5.76 (Buy the full-size 0.34 oz version for $28)

When I know my preferences in a product, rarely do I stray from what I know. Even though I am not usually a fan of thicker lip glosses, I actually really liked this one- it made me feel like my lips were a shiny, juicy fruit. The shade Nude is a true nude that gives me a “my lips but better” color.

Here are the swatches. From top to bottom we have Moon Jelly, Getaway, and Nude. In case you missed it, there is shot of me wearing each shade in the photo slides above the descriptions, too!

The Verdict: I enjoyed this festive little ornament! I love lip products, and I really appreciate that these aren’t your run-of-the-mill colors with the lavender shimmer finish in the Anastasia lip gloss and the metallic sheen from Getaway. While the value of this kit is only slightly higher than the cost of the box (not including shipping) at $17.40, I think it would be worth picking these up during the ongoing VIB sale or on Black Friday to use as stocking stuffers or small gifts for beauty-loving acquaintances.

        To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication, this kit is still available for purchase.

Value Breakdown: This kit costs $20.95 ($15 + $5.95 shipping), which means you are paying $6.98 per sample, or $5 each if you are able to get free shipping.

          • Jessica even though its light lavender you could pair the Anatasia with a purple lip shade Saturday November 9!! I am definitely doing a purple and yellow/gold eye look for the game. Geaux Tigers!!!💜💛
