I received a different palette. Styl Hypnotic Eyes. One glittery shade was broken and made a mess on the other items in the box. I emailed them, but last time I had a damaged item, they gave me a small credit for the Look Fantastic site and told me to go buy an item there. Which, honestly is not a good policy because the shipping is not free, so it means you have to pay to replace a damaged item.
The Real Chemistry 3 minute peel looks interesting. Mine had the cap off and there was no inner seal. Not sure if there was supposed to be an inner seal. I think it got dried up, so I don’t know if I should try it.
The hair mask also wasn’t sealed. I guess that’s how it comes?
Pretty underwhelming box. I’m just waiting out the remaining months since I paid for 12 months in advance. They sometimes have a few good products.

I received my box today. I opened box, there was no description pamphlet. I had to swish my hands through the paper swirly things to find two of the products. I received the same items as shown: Styl Velvet Touch Hypnotic Eyes Palette, Wispies, Novex hair stuff, Lord & Berry crayon lipstick in Intimacy and Real Chemistry Luminous 3 Minute Peel.
These items could have been housed in a smaller box, and not receiving the info. sheet has left me in the dark about these products. I am usually satisfied with Glossybox’s contents for the price I pay, yet this was a disappointment for me. I’ll be putting everything up for swap and wait for a sub. discount coupon for my sub. in Jan. I hope they have the gift subscription deal as last year as this can be applied whenever I need it.

I received mine today too. Was your hair mask sealed? It looks like mine has been used and is only half full. I sent a message and am waiting to hear back.
The lip liner and real chemistry were not sealed or in any packaging either. For those of you who sub a lot, is it normal for some of these samples to not be sealed? I went round and round with ipsy last month about their Betty Boop eyeliner because they told me it does not come sealed, and I said that I don’t want it then and they sent me another brand that was sealed. Some stuff I understand, but anything that goes anywhere near our eyes should come sealed.

I would also be interested in your hair mask

I also have a hair mask I’m looking to get rid of if anyone wants one. The lip pencil as well
Claire
I’ll put it up for swap and put a save on it for you. Just let me know.

What are you ISO? I would take the luminous peel off your hands. What size is it?

Thanks, but after looking up this item I decided to keep it. This size retails for $30 so I’m not so much disappointed by this box!

I got the same variety. They actually emailed the pamphlet this month, this is what part of the email said:
“Glossies, don’t think we forgot about your product description card this month. We decided to switch things up this month and go digital.”

I agree. The last 6 months of sub boxes have been underwhelming to me. I feel that they are simply taking advantage of long-standing customers at this point by throwing to better sub-quality box assortments of products now. I will be ending my subscription this year. Will only resubscribe if I see the collections improve. If not, oh well.

Hi Kelly, the Real Chemistry was not sealed, I didn’t check the mask. A lot of products are not sealed, I would say 30% are not.

I received the novex conditioner in my cocotique beauty box and it works so well on my hair. That little jar gave me 6 good uses and it smells amazing… its a product I would most definitely use again..

When I blow the pic up it looks like the luminous 3 minute peel. If it is, the box is worth it just for that. I love that peel and the full size is quite pricey

Real Chemistry is in Birchbox quite a bit. I actually really like their face and body peels.

The hair mask looks good and the box is beautiful! Otherwise a little disappointing.

I love hair products, so I’m fine with Novex, Iv’e never tried it. But the rest I won’t use, except maybe Real Chemestry, depending on what it is.

I hope Glossybox reads these comments. I used to love this box and all the wonderful products. But they went downhill and I canceled earlier this year. I keep looking for a reason to resubscribe. This isn’t it.

I think last month was my last month. I got in on the Black Friday deal last year. Not renewing

Same here, this is my last month and I’m not sorry to see them go. This month is definitely underwhelming. I’m hoping that the unnamed palette might rescue the box, but doubt it.

Not bad… The hair mask looks really interesting. My last box was last month’s (I had a yearly sub, gifted to me by my husband for last year’s Black Friday deal). If they have another Black Friday special of either 25% or 30% off the yearly sub, I’ll have him gift me another subscription. I enjoy Glossybox, but not at full price.

I love Novex’s hair masks! They’re one of my most favorite hair mask brands. I’m always thrilled when I get some of it in a box, because I have no idea where I could purchase one (that’s not online)!

I’m not even interested in hair items in sub boxes, and I LOVED the Novex one I got years ago – maybe it was in Glossybox. I was bummed to find out that Novex products are so difficult to procure in North America…

Looks underwhelming. I’m ok that this is my last month

Same, last month for me. Just cancelled my sub yesterday.

I bought it for the box itself, so I can’t complain, but this is sad.

I cancelled last month after what they sent me. Just so underwhelming and clearly they’d rather you just buy better products from look fantastic and throw the cheapies into the sub box, which is not the point of sub boxes. The point is to try new, indie, trendy, or classic brands with the intent to love them enough to buy out of pocket. Glossy just throws MK stuff, and Belle Pierre crap in there to fill it up. You might get one semi quality product then the rest is “meh”. It is (was) the same price as boxy but way less in value and flare. That Belle Pierre color corrector kit they sent last month was a waste for me. It’s only for fair tones and I’m a medium/tan WOC. Hope they improve because I really want to like them. Packaging is always topnotch though.
