  1. I’m excited for a new palette from a new brand. Been trying so many. I love that. I’ll be getting Boxyluxe and the Premium for December. Different products in both boxes will be great! It’s so good for growing my collection, I love Boxycharm. I joined at a perfect time. I just got my base box for this month and will be getting my premium soon. I love the Kypris and Farsali spray. Boxy is killing it with the skincare. QMS is an awesome brand. It’s European. Kinda like K Beauty is becoming more popular in the states and it’s Korean. I’m excited to try brands from all over the world…not just the United States. Although send me all the Sunday Riley that exists! Lol. Excited to try the Fresh cleanser as I need one because I’m out of my glamglow. I am also getting the Saturday Skin water cream and think I’ll order the other Saturday Skin in the popup. Looking forward to trying that as well.

  2. Under the “Compare Boxes” tab when logged into my account on Boxycharms website,it states that we are able to choose “3” items for the Boxyluxe.. We only got to choose 2… Hmmm… Wonder what the deal is there???

    • For me, it says “up to three items”. Unless you are looking somewhere other than I am? I hit the learn more button and a comparison chart pops up on the next screen. I know that Yosef did a few videos where he mentioned Luxe will always be 1-3 choice items and the other boxes are limited to 1.

  3. This is going to be my first Boxyluxe and it is looking awesome! I’ve been wanting to try Storybook Cosmetics, Saturday Skin (picked it), AND Fresh for a while now! Everything else will just be extra.

    • Shawna how do you know it’s your first? We’re you notified that you were taken off the waitlist and if so, when?

      • On November 1st I got the email saying they confirmed that my Boxyluxe would be customized with my choices.

      • I mean, I know I’m still on the waitlist, but I assume that means if I stay on it and stay subscribed I’ll get the December Luxe.

  4. How do they pick who goes off waitlist for Luxe? They let me choose what I wanted for December and confirmed I would get it but I’m still waitlisted for both Luxe and Premium. Do they take people off the waitlist throughout the month? If I don’t get Luxe for December I’m taking myself off the waitlist for both. I only signed up to get that cute storybook palette and if I don’t get December’s box then I don’t really care to be signed up right now.

    • Holly, I got boxyluxe starting back in June and the way it worked for me was that they let me choose my item while I was still waitlisted and on June 1st in the early afternoon they pulled me off the waitlist. They so not activate people off the waitlist throughout the month as far as I know but instead activate as many people as they can on the 1st of the month.

      • Okay – I hope I get chosen. I was not chosen on November 1st so here’s hoping December is it chief! ☺️❤️

    • They took me off a few days ago. Good luck!

      • Thanks Susan! Crossing my fingers and everything else 🤣

    • Holly, they did that to me. I did not get activated so I took myself off waitlist. I don’t care for these waitlist games. If I want to purchase something that company should be willing to take my money. I’m not waiting on BC.

      • I completely understand the frustration and am hoping that they’re doing this to ensure everyone gets the products that they are promised….and not because they’re trying to stir up FOMO to get people to sign up well before they’d really want to, just to ensure they can make it off the waitlist eventually.

  5. Soy is an endocrine disruptor and because I have an autoimmune disorder that is affected negatively by this, I avoid it. I will pass that item on and someone will be happy. The box is still looking good to me. I think the palette is fun and I like the quirky packaging, and I am looking forward to trying the Saturday skin.

I see a lot of people giving grief about the QMS brand but if you search for the Dr who developed the line, you will find that he has won several awards for his skincare. I would think that the wouldn’t have received them if the products are bad/don’t work. I will reserve my judgment of them until after I have tried them for myself and keep my fingers crossed that they are helpful to me, in some way.

    • Who gave the awards? Who said soy in small amounts in skincare would bother an autoimmune disorder? Where are you getting this? Why do you want to believe it? What happens if you don’t believe it?

      • I have had an autoimmune disorder for 18 years. I think I know my body and how soy affects it. My body’s TPO antibodies attack soy like it’s a toxic invader. Not that I have to explain myself to anyone… If you want to think its pseudo science, that’s your own prerogative, but it’s real, so please dont try to make it seem otherwise. I’m not going to google who gave the awards for you. Like I said, I’ll reserve my judgment until after I have tried the products for myself. .instead of being hyper critical before hand.

      • Also, do you question people who avoid gluten, sulfates, parabens etc in their skincare/makeup? My guess is no. If people want to avoid something because it affects then negatively, let them. If its information you are looking for, I would highly suggest rewording your comments to make it seem less like you are judging someone for their ideals. I am more than happy to explain to people why soy is bad for me, when asked in a polite manner.

      • Exactly! Couldn’t agree more with everything you just said!!

      • Thanks Lawden 🙂 Autoimmune disorders are no joke and it floors me that people continue to stigmatize them. Even trace amounts of certain things can cause flare ups of auto immunity that can last weeks. Living with A.I. is seriously life changing and the side effects are numerous. So many days, when I wake up in pain or fatigued to the point I don’t want to get out of bed, I wish that my body could “just be normal”. It’s not fun, but it’s my reality and I have to do what I can to protect myself. The snarky comments are uncalled for, especially when my statement was that I will pass the item to someone else who can enjoy it and that it’s still a good box to me. It’s not like I was bashing the brand. I can only hope that this person learns something about A.I. and thinks twice in the future.

    • Thanks for posting this, SquirrelyGirl. I have RA and had no idea that soy affects autoimmunity.

      • It really depends on what AI you have and how your body responds to certain inflammatory things. I have a pretty severe case of Hashimotos ( which is what is triggered by soy for me) but also have RA. Once you have one AI disease it often leads to others. The RA is secondary in ny case. I’d talk to your doctor to see if soy might be an inflammatory trigger for you! I’ll cross my fingers for you that it’s not a problem for you, because soy is in so many dang things!

  6. Super happy with this box so far! I was thinking the other day that I would need a cleanser soonish and would love to have one come in BoxyLuxe. I have tried the soy face and *liked* it, but my skin has changed since so am interested in giving it another go.

I chose the Saturday Skin and QMS. I am planning to gift the palette to my sister for Christmas along with the fall Causebox brush set since they seem like a cute combo. I really liked the last luxe (it was my first) so I am hoping for another good one!

    • I wonder if its the full size?

      • From the picture they posted it is. It was the first face cleanser I bought from Sephora. It does work well, I just have found others that I like. I really like Peter Thomas Roth skincare items, and the Boscia charcoal cleanser but I do use the Fresh one in a pinch. However I have kind of slacked off on my skincare for a while since I was not wearing much makeup in the summer. Now that the cooler weather is here, I know I will start blowing thru it quickly washing my face twice a day. No makeup days I am more of a micellar water and toner, but makeup days are always cleanser before and after and a double cleanse at night so having a backup now might now be as bad because as we all know the holidays are coming and money will be tight to repurchase my holy grails.

  7. No, you don’t get the regular box on the months you get lux. So, you would get only the lux and premium box in Dec if you’re subscribed to all of them. It would be $85 plus tax for Dec

  8. Stellar box for me so far. I picked the Elemis and QMS and I love that storybook palette and Fresh cleanser. December is my birthday month so this will make a nice present to myself haha! Even if the last four items are cheap fillers like eyeliner and lip gloss I will still be happy.

  9. Man this is shaping up to be the best Boxyluxe yet. I love that cleanser. I have always managed to snag sample sizes of it and recently ran out of my last one. Almost bought the full size during the Sephora holiday sale. Glad I didn’t! Very excited for this box!

  10. So is this the full size for Luxe? I love this cleanser.

    • All boxy boxes are full size products. This cleanser will come in the luxe box.

  11. I love that cleanser and haven’t used it in awhile. This is going to be a great box, so excited!

  12. I’m thinking about signing up just for boxyluxe, but I’m confused.. if I sign up today, it means I will have regular Boxycharm for November, and I can upgrade to boxyluxe for December, but I won’t be able to make selections? Thx u

    • To get Boxyluxe you have to be an active charmer. You would have to join this month and get put on the waitlist. If you’re on the waitlist, you are not guaranteed to get Boxyluxe for December though. I know people that are still waiting to get off the waitlist after signing up a couple months ago.

      • Oh! Thx u! I was about to sign up so I could get boxyluxe in December but I have no interest in regular Boxycharm.. I just saved some money!

  13. Too much skincare. I hope the rest of the items will be makeup.

  14. wow. so with the choices I made for boxyluxe( I picked the QMS and the Elemis) my box will be valued at over 300$ already with just four items. Makes you wonder how they do it. so because of that I was not expecting another great spoiler. so excited to get this box.

    • Well for starters they do it by putting a “$200” eye cream that no one is actually paying $200 for in the box and that alone accounts for 2/3 of the value.

  15. Choice is over as far as I know. I believe there’s only a 24 to 48 hour window to do it. It was last week.

    • Thank you Jess, but I wasn’t able to see the choices even last week. I have contacted boxy several times, but no answer 🙁

      • Liz…. I have a question. I get boxyluxe but signed to the waitlist for premium.. if I get premium next month and boxyluxe… will I get charged and receive the basic box also?

      • No, Toni Marie. You don’t receive the regular box on months that you get Luxe. You would pay $50 for Boxyluxe + $35 for Premium + taxes on both.

      • That sucks. I belong to a Boxy Facebook group and I saw alot of other complaints about that. I personally haven’t had that problem so I dont know what the issue is with some accounts not being able to see it and others having no problems.

  16. I am not able to see the option in my account to make my choices ( on waiting list) but as per their website I can atleast make my choices. Where can I find boxyluxe choice options? Please help..

    • Choice is over as far as I know. I believe there’s only a 24 to 48 hour window to do it. It was last week.

  17. Love Fresh skincare

  18. I really want that Briar Rose shadow palette! Anyone know if we can buy that somewhere on it’s own? Sleeping Beauty has always been my fave!

    • Do you get luxe? It will be in luxe box this December.

    • According to Storybook Cosmetics’ insta, it will be coming to their site later. You can also buy their other palettes at Ulta, and I have no reason to think it will be different with this one.

    • I bet a lot of people will put them up for sale on Mercari or Poshmark. Or you could try one of the swap/sell groups on FB like Boxycharm Beauties or Boxy Bagels or even on the MSA swap site. I have seen a lot of people say that it isn’t their cup of tea so my guess is that you wouldn’t have an issue finding one at far below RV

      • They want me to cancel after taken 78 dollars. I was a luxy. Toke that from me. And said I had different accounts under my name. I just seen one.

    • Hi Christina! I’m actually not a fan of the Briar Rose palette so I would be willing to negotiate a fair price for you when we get our boxes.. I’d like to see it go to someone who would enjoy it and not just be a dust bunny catcher anyhow. Lol! Like the other ladies mentioned,it’s always a good idea to check out the Facebook groups that swap/sell BoxyCharm items for the things you’re interested in getting. My Instagram is: genuineginger87 if you’d like to discuss the palette when the time comes. 🙂

      • Great, thank you!! I will message you on Instagram about the palette! Mines @ftchristina.
