Empathy x Vellabox California Red Wine Candle by Broken Top Candle Co, 8 oz - Retail Value $22.00
I love Broken Top Candle Co, so I am really excited to see they made the candle behind this collab with Empathy Wines. Wine and candles is totally a winning combo in my opinion! The two scent profiles made for this month were themed on red or white wine, and this is the red scent. The included card mentions notes of blackberries, chocolate, cherries, and vanilla. To my nose, it smells mostly like delicious black currants! This is a perfect scent for fall evenings especially combined with a glass of cabernet!
This is a 100% soy candle with a cotton wick. It burns nice and even and is made in Oregon.
And each Vellabox also comes with a little treat like a food or beauty item:

Mini Portable Corkscrew
How freaking cute! This ultra portable and very keychain appropriate corkscrew will certainly come in handy at parties and picnics.
Verdict: I loved this month's Vellabox. Wine in any capacity makes me quite happy, and I love that they chose to do a collab with Empathy Wines and Broken Top Candle Co. I am really interested in seeing future collaborations and creative themes! As usual, the candle itself was beautifully scented and high quality.

Once you sign up for a monthly membership, all boxes will ship on the 5th of each month. For new subscribers we will be flexible to ensure as many customers as possible can receive the current months box.
