Along with being found in stores like Ulta and Macy's, plus K-beauty subscription boxes, they recently started offering a monthly bundle of products at a discount!

TONYMOLY September 2019 Monthly Bundle Review

samples

This box doesn't come with an info sheet, but just like last month, I received some pretty adorable samples.

collagen

Master Lab Collagen Sheet Mask - Estimated Value $4.50 (Buy two for $9)

This did not impress me- the mask was stiff and didn’t fit the contours of my face well, and the ingredients list, while not terrible, isn’t anything to write home about. All of that aside, however, my skin still soaked all the essence up like a tall glass of water.

lotus

I’m Lotus Sheet Mask – Estimated Value $3 (Buy two for $6.00)

I will never turn down a good sheet mask, and this line from TONYMOLY included some of the first masks I ever tried! This is a little basic, but it gets the job done in terms of a little self-care. The Lotus version of this mask helps with brightening skin, and I had no issues with sensitivity while wearing it.

calendula

I’m Calendula Sheet Mask – Estimated Value $3 (Buy two for $6.00)

Calendula is known for being soothing, and this also has hyaluronic acid for added hydration. My skin soaked it up!

eye

My Little Pet Eye Patch - Estimated Value $4.25 (Buy a set of 2 for $8.50)

These eye patches impressed me in that they did not manage to accomplish anything- after twenty minutes of wearing, my dark circles looked just as dark as ever. The material of these eye patches is thin and easy to tear, but they were cooling while I had them on my face.

hand

I’m Lovely Peach Hand Mask - Retail Value $5.50

I loved this hand mask- I only had to leave it on for 20 minutes, the peach lotion smell is great, and my hands looked nourished after wearing.

foot

I’m Lovely Peach Foot Mask - Retail Value $5.50

This is just as great as the hand mask, only for my feet. I appreciate that the gloves were easy to tear apart and put on (sometimes this can be difficult), and my feet were definitely softer after wearing.

peach

Mini Peach Punch Foam Cleanser - Retail Value $5

I’ve used this cleanser before and I like it. It’s creamy, it smells like peach, and even though it is fragranced it doesn’t irritate my occasionally sensitive skin. I’m happy to have another mini of this- I like using it as my cleanser after working out at the gym.

ampoule

Mini Calming Ampoule - Buy the 1 oz version for $20

This cute little ampoule is another item I like to keep in my gym bag to alleviate any breakouts I’m dealing with. It doesn’t have a ton of uses in it, but it’s cute and it doesn’t leave my skin sticky so I make it work.

green tea

Mini Green Tea Watery Cream, 20 ml -  Estimated Value $8.33 (Buy the 60 ml version for $25)

Rounding out my updated gym bag skincare routine in this lightweight moisturizer that sinks in without being heavy. I usually need more moisture than this alone can provide, but it layers well and works well under sunscreen.

Panda’s Dream Glossy Lip Crayon in 04 Red Berry, 1.5 g - Full-Size! Retail Value $13

Glossy lips really aren’t for me, but this is a pretty one! This bright red shade packs a punch of color, and the slight glossy finish was comfortable without being sticky.

Here it is swatched.

Tropical Cereal Choco’O Ball Bronzer, 14 g - Full-Size! Retail Value $15.27 (on sale for $12.22)

This was a fun bronzer, though I’m not really sure if the included sponge is actually supposed to be used to apply it (you can see the swatch using the sponge on the last slide). Using a fluffy brush, I was able to brush this along my hairline to add a glow around my face without really “contouring,” if that makes sense.

Here it is swatched.

Tropical Cereal Milk Setting Spray, 120 ml - Full-Size! Retail Value $14.05 (on sale for $11.24)

This setting spray is fun! It comes packaged in a milk carton, and though this is non-aerosol it still spritzes out a very fine mist. I thought this worked well as a setting spray, so it’s not all cute packaging and no substance here.

Bubble Maker

I’ve used one of these before, and while the concept is interesting I don’t need a foamy cleanser enough to take the extra twenty seconds to add water and cleanser to this and pump it to get a foam to wash my face with. It’s neat, but I’m fine with regular cleansers.

The Verdict: I put the last three items in the box at the bottom of the review for a reason- since these were not items sold on the US TONYMOLY website, I believe they are exclusive items only sold overseas. That definitely adds value to this subscription, which is on the pricier end for a monthly K-beauty box. Not including the full-size items not available for sale in America or the mini ampoule, I calculated a value of $52.08, which is just above the cost of the box with shipping. I think the Tropical Cereal line easily adds another $30 in value, and I think you will be happy with this box if you exploring K-beauty.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but as of publication, you can purchase the October box!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $50.50 ($43 + $7.50 shipping) which means that you are paying about $3.88 per item.

I think this box is good but it’s just so pricy for what you get. I feel like it should cost $35 AT MOST (or at least $35 total)

I was so excited to see a TonyMoly store in Manhattan a couple of days ago and then to come across a review.

Great review, Jessica! Would you mind sharing what nail polish you’re wearing here? It looks like maybe one from Holo Hookup? It’s gorgeous! I love the variety of types of glitter in it. Thanks!

Hi Dani G!
I wish I could be more helpful, but the truth of the matter is I was at the nail salon looking through gel colors and saw that one in particular and thought “ITS THE SPOOKY SEASON” and that’s all I know about that.

That’s ok. You made a great choice!
