QVC Customer Choice 2019 Nominees Review

Here is the info sheet for the products included.

QVC beauty awards FAB

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream in Honeysuckle, 2 oz - Retail Value $12

This thick cream is made with colloidal oatmeal, ceramides, shea butter, and allantoin. This is way too heavy for me to use on my face, but it is great for the rest of my body when dealing with mild irritants (I used this on my knees after getting razor burn, and I was happy with the performance). A little bit of this goes a long way, too.

QVC beauty awards almond

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil, 2.5 oz -  Retail Value $9.50

Due to various stressors in my life right now I have been having issues with skin sensitivity all over my body. I have been using this shower oil when I was dealing with flare-ups, and not only was it non-irritating to my sensitive skin, it was downright soothing and moisturizing. The light almond scent is pleasant, and the combination of sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil made for a truly hydrating cleanse.

QVC beauty awards Josie

Josie Maran Argan Milk Body Serum, 0.33 oz - Retail Value $20

This is a milky serum that feels like a hydrating hug for my face. I've linked to the same product I received (the intensive hydrating treatment, which is for your face), but according to the info sheet I should have received the body serum (this is where the product number sends me, even though the full-size body serum does not look like the depicted full-size product on the info sheet). I'm not really sure what happened there, but I am happy with what I received so it's all good to me.

QVC beauty awards philosophy

philosophy fresh cream warm cashmere shower gel, 1 oz - Estimated Value $1.13 (Buy the full-size 16-ounce version for $18)

I like holding onto these mini philosophy bottles as a bubble bath for whenever the mood strikes, and this 3-in-1 shower gel, shampoo, and bubble bath always delivers. Fresh cream is described as a warm vanilla musk, and honestly, it leaves me craving a nice cup of hot chai tea.

QVC beauty awards Mally

Mally Evercolor Shadow Stick in Burnished Bronze, 0.06 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $25

This isn't my first time trying these shadow sticks from Mally, but this gorgeous golden shimmer is definitely my favorite shade. The formula is creamy and applies smoothly, and it works well as a lower lash liner or as an all-over color.

Here I used it just to line my lower lash line.

Too Faced Hangover Primer, 0.16 oz - Estimated Value $4 (Buy the 0.68 oz version for $17)

My skin is on the dry side, so I usually reach for hydrating primers like this one when I am going to be doing a full face of makeup. This helps to smooth my face out while not drying out my skin, but if you have oily skin this probably won't work for you.

beautyblender sponge in Electric Violet - Retail Value $20

Beautyblender sponges are by far my favorite way to apply foundation, but the $20 price tag is a bit steep. Getting them in subscription boxes always makes me happy, and this bright fuchsia sponge is fun. To use I soak it in water until it has expanded, and then bounce the sponge against my face for a smooth application.

The Verdict: This was another great box from QVC- I can see why all of these products would be nominees for customers' choice awards! Value-wise, this box is a homerun with a total value of $91.63.

To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: This box cost $28.50 ($25 + $3.50 shipping) and I calculated a total value of $91.63 for everything except the beautyblender. That means you’re paying approximately the following per sample:

  • First Aid Beauty: $3.73
  • L’Occitane: $2.95
  • Josie Maran: $6.22
  • philosophy: $0.35
  • Mally: $7.77
  • Too Faced: $1.24
  • beautyblender: $6.22

Great review. I got this box and received darker brown eye shadow stick. I also received Josie Maran face product. If you watch the QVC video (yup I did, lol), they correct it from body product to face product. Too bad Mally products are made in China…. if you flip the box on the back, there is a sticker that indicates which products are made in which country… besides on the product itself of course.

And thank you for reminding me that Fresh product can be used for bubble bath and the eye liner stick is an easy way to apply color lower lash lines!

Thank you for the review. I just got one. I was able to use code TAKE10 for $10off since it was my first order

I received the same Josie Maran Intense Hydrating Treatment instead of the Argan Milk Body Serum. I’m not sure why I didn’t get the right product maybe they ran out

First Aid products are just too rich and heavy for my face but I love them as body cream or foot cream.

Your eyes are so pretty! Such a beautiful color.

I find the Maily Eye stick products so irritating to my eyes -then I found out they’re made in China. They get very caked looking. :(. Don’t recommend at all.

Good Review and you look great Jessica! : )

This looks great! I’ve tried several of the products but since I appreciate having backups, this seems like a good deal.
I wonder why it’s rated so low on QVC’s site.
