At least this box is good for a laugh

I’m thinking that with “deals” like these, Luxor won’t last much longer.

HINT: Go to Amazon and you can buy 4 genuine Agate coasters in a color of your choosing for around $20 to $35 bucks.

I just did and saved myself about $470 in not purchasing this box (and I’m still getting something that I liked).

Thank you for the info on the coasters. I love them. I really liked the two I received on my Spiritu boxes.

I’m afraid that I have to agree with Angel 100%. These are incredibly delicate, and they will shatter if dropped even from an small height. I’d recommend getting a bunch of the affordable ones from Amazon if you plan on actually using these.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA *snort* $245….HA HA HA HA HA

Seriously?

Wow, that’s an easy pass.

Useless gold-plated coasters sounds like something Marie Antoinette would have bought before she got her head chopped off.

Ridiculous.

If anyone likes the look of the agate coasters (slabs), but wants to pick out their own and much cheaper, I’ll give the info for a live stream sale on crystals (and they have everything from my fave rainbow fluorite to the super expensive and interesting euphorialite, quartz bookends, cut into cats, skulls, points, birds, stars, etc – truly amazing selection) that I found on Instagram. They do live sales every Monday and Tuesday (and it’s became my new addiction as Ipsy ultimate and other boxes have left me looking to find new things to obsess about).

It is by far the best way imo to procure crystals online since you are truly getting to see the particular crystal (and not just the type) you are trying to buy. I currently have my drink on a slab that I think was under $20 (and it’s probably almost an inch thick – not trimmed in gold but that’s fine by me).

Didn’t Spiritu box have these coasters too? I think they offered the same ones just not with the attached “brand name” which I guess bumps the price up by 1000%

Ugly and tacky.

For some reason I thought that Aerin was going to be a fragrance. I think the coasters are beautiful but ridiculously priced. And I don’t like that bangle, it looks very ordinary to me. Now when they used to include Evocateur bangles, that was a different story. Those are really exceptional.

I had to scroll back up to see if my eyes saw that correctly. Yup $245 coasters! I guess you can buy at least ten sets of (non-opulent) coasters at Target for that price.

Mary

$245!! What? You can find gorgeous agate coasters on eBay for less than $10 each.

At $500 you can get a lot of Opulance of your own choosing… I’m all for a great mystery but at some point I’d rather just spend that on one amazing item I pick.

The point of a coaster is to be made of an absorbent material, to collect the condensation that “sweats” off the glass or cup. These pieces of agate are gorgeous but would never work as coasters.

Dorian

Yup, every time I tried to use an agate coaster the experience was either, it stuck to the bottom of the glass then fell off and sometimes broke, or condensation pooled up in a puddle on it eventually spilling over the side all over the table completely defeating the purpose

You are totally correct! I have a set of agate coasters (paid $15 on Amazon) that are the worst. They stick to the bottom of your glass and then slip off when you drink. It’s embarrassing and frustrating and noisy! They also get water rings/stains from sticking to your glass or mug.
