  1. I was really not happy with either of my Ultimate bags.

    They had already sent me 2 of the things.

    I am dropping Ultimate. They just do not seem to have the merchandise to rotate.

    • Has anyone purchased a November mystery bag that can maybe spoil the mystery for me ?? Lol I decided to downgrade to Ipsy plus from ultimately and just purchase older mystery bags with it to treat myself it’s cheaper and more likely to get a better variety of what I actually want instead of always getting crap I don’t want or use wasting my money month after month is getting old

      • The monthly mystery bags are just extra bags that they have on hand for a given month’s bag. So you’ll get some combination of the items that were offered for that month, but there’s no way to know which, and any one mystery bag may be different than another from that same month.

  2. Can I please get feedback on the INCREDIBLE jelly shot lip quencher in Ex Revenge? It’s the clear lip balm with a yellow flower in it that is shaped like lipstick. Didn’t get it in any GlamBags. Thinking of redeeming points for it… All feedback welcome. Thanks.

    • I got two of the INC. Redible Jelly Shot Lip Quenchers a couple months back in my Glam Bags. I used one and noticed this horribly bitter disgusting scent/taste so I tossed it figuring it had gone bad. I then tried the second only to have the same thing happen. I’m not certain they are all like this but I never want to use one again.

    • It isn’t worth it. The sample is incredibly tiny and made my lips drier.

      They aren’t even that cute IRL.

  3. Wow. Please take a look at the rewards points items and all of the add on options. Is it just me, or did they take some stuff off the rewards points items list and put them on the add on list?

    • Yeah, Ipsy did just that plus some of the products in the Ultimate bag came from the rewards points.

      • I think the point she is trying to make is (Correct me, if i am wrong Sarah) that products that we get basically free are showing up as add ons, that we have to actually pay for! Plus, usually the rewards points products are items that are left overs from past bags. Plus some of the Rewards points products are in this months Ultimate bag, that really dont look to good on Ipsy’s part since it is products that are left over, being put in a $50.00 bag. That is the point she was making!😊

  5. I’m giving ipsy another month to step up with the ultimate. I don’t mind collabs as long as their good that’s not even the issue. It’s when they give you 1 single eyeshadow and say ok that’s a full size then give 2 sheet mask and be yep that’s another one. Do they really think we forgot that we’ve been getting those kinda items in our glam bags forever? If that’s the case we should just drop Ultimate and go back to what we were doing before . Ipsy plus was kicking outta the park for months but they can’t get their ultimate to do anything but flop . All I know is if November ultimate is another box of failure I’m losing ultimate. Not gonna keep paying 50 for nothing .

  6. Love how they’re being very careful not to release too many spoilers too soon this month. Probably in fear of even more customers canceling or pausing before billing. If they don’t start releasing spoilers soon I’m pausing again for this month in the next couple of days just to be on the safe side bc I’d bet my last dime the GBP and GBU boxes will probably be crap again.

  7. I HATE the collabs! I wish IPSY would stop with this nonsense! I don’t mind getting indie brands – I’ve found some good stuff over time, and I like supporting new entrepreneurs, but the collabs have got to stop! Who the heck wants Betty Boop or Tetris Makeup? Maybe a teenager born in 1930 or 1980, but that’s it! It’s a waste of my money and I’m finding more and more of the items I receive going into the donate pile.

    • I was born in 1978 and I am not a fan of Betty Boop so slow your roll! If you don’t like the silly bag or what comes in it…..CANCEL……..

  9. I have ultimate subscription, for my october box, i was so disappointed. Most of my items was small in size. The only part that i like was my pick and add ons, which is annoying. I didn’t get an $18 make up bag that they were advertising.

    I did give them a feedback but never heaRd back.

    I hope i will get a better box in november. Obviously from what I am seeing now, it’s meh!

  12. I was missing a add on in my Ultimate. I emailed them tonight. I had ordered TheBalm What the tea pallet. Missing. I really wanted that, hope they send it. Or at least refund my $12.

    I added up all my stuff I received in my Ultimate box and it came to $256.00
    That is giving the BB blush pallet a $5.00 value.
    Those sheet masks sell for $1.99 each. The lip gloss is on sale now at target for $5.59. I don’t think those should count toward a full size item. But they did.
    I did get some nice things. Huda Pallet, Farmacy Green Clean, purlisse season matcha green tea primer, The Biorace serum, and the f.a.r.a.h Brushes. Oh and that perfume. I like it!
    Buying subscription boxes is like playing the lottery. Only we win more with the boxes.
    I did cancel all my Ipsy boxes for a while. I have such a huge stash now that I’m going to work on using it.
    I’m getting rid of all my beauty boxes and instead I’m going to sub to some other kinds of boxes for a while.

  13. This collab looks interesting. I don’t hate the collabs. Personally I don’t always have to have expensive or big name brand products to be satisfied. I am very easy to please. The ugly bag is my problem, I was wanting to skip even just the regular bag but if this is the collab and items we will have to look forward to I don’t think I can skip. I really need more spoilers. Guess I will have to wait.

  14. I wonder if Ultimate was so bad because ipsy was getting ready for Ipsy Live’s creator bags? It seems like those were pretty full of products, and I’m sure they didn’t get crap products and leftover samples 🙄 No problem with creators or creators getting loads of stuff, at all; but I do wonder since ipsy Live was only a week after I got my bag — and there sure wasn’t anything as good as Youth to the Peopl or Ofra in Ultimate 🙄

  16. Currently, Ipsy is offering 1800 points per referral and you can redeem 1800 points for the 111SKIN Vitamin C Brightening Serum. Finally, a worthwhile points redemption. I can’t wait to receive mine!

    • They are offer 1800 for referrals because so many subscribers have left.

  17. I’m getting little tired of seeing these negative comments. I just got my Oct GBP this week. Honestly, BB bag is cute. I don’t even like BB. I’ll def use it. I haven’t try out BB blush palette yet but I love everything else in the box so far. I don’t mind Gigi next month, I only get 1 of her makeup whether I like it or not. Makeup bag is like bonus to me. But people want to complain getting extra stuff or pretty much everthing. I don’t get it. My Oct GBP value over $200 and my BC value over $150 with Tarte palette this month. I spent total $46 about $50 with tax and I’ve got over $350 value of items from GBP & BC. I’m happy with both. Can’t wait for Nov.

    • This^^^ *couldn’t agree more. My Plus bag stunk. The BB shadows are a horrible formula for me and I got that trio of LC bronzer that are so dark…definitely not following my fair skinned profile. As for BC, I’m a new subscriber…they did not send my new subscriber gift nor did they follow my profile. I got red lip liner…don’t use red or liners, and the brow gel is for a dark brunette…I’m a natural golden blonde. The lip gloss is also in the wrong shade. So, I’m supposed to grin and accept it?! I have every right to my opinion, which, this time, happens to be negative.

      • You got a gift for subscribing? I didnt know they were doing that now!, i have been a member of Ipsy for about a year and a half now and i know i didn’t get a gift when i subscribed and i have not heard of anybody getting a reward just points for products, but if you were supposed to be getting a gift from them i would email IpsyCare and tell them that you didnt get it. I dont know if you know where to go on the Ipsy site to email them but if you need help let me know and i will try to explain where to go on the website. Sorry this was your first bag and it sucked! Ipsy’s personalization for me has always been off but i have also got some really good products from this subs. Honestly i am still deciding what to do with this subscription, the only reason i have stayed was because we can buy add ons every month and they have been letting me pick a product for the last several months, now everybody can pick a product for there bag. I also emailed IpsyCare over and over about the products i was getting and not getting, you just have to make sure to keep emailing until you get your problem resolved. I also agree with you on being able to comment how you want, poistive or negative. I am not going to smile and act like everything is fine when Ipsy has burnt me and alot of people, i will voice my opinion how i want and if people dont like it, than they dont have to read it! 😊

        • Yea they don’t do gifts for new subscribers. They do sometimes give gifts to try and get people to resubscribe. I’ve never seen them give a gift to some one new joining.

          • Yeah, my sister in law subscribed last month and didnt get anything but we both got points because she used my referral link to join. We both got 600 points, maybe that is what she is talking about? Maybe she redeemed a product with her points? I am not exactly sure what they told her she was getting?

    • Thank you, all of these negative comments make everyone sound so spoiled, like they spent $50 so now they deserve 7,000 dollars worth of stuff. It’s almost sickening, you’re subscribed to Ipsy to try new things, not get super high end brands, which you may get once in a while but not all the time.

      • So with you guys. I don’t get it. If you don’t like anything your getting or it doesn’t have a huge resale value or you don’t like Betty Boop……CANCE….400 comments and 350 are people hating on everything.

    • I agree. Ipsy is never going to send high end luxury brands. Ever. Accept that and find a new sub.

      • Yeah. I mean it’s not like people purchased a bag because it’s worth so much and supposed to have so many full size products. I mean, they should just accept whatever ipsy decides is good enough for them. Who cares if they feel like they were cheated or ipsy was dishonest?

        I do. Unlike you, I am not willing to just hand someone $50 and receive dishonest customer service, or partial fullfillment. Thank you to the people who complain. The complaints have shown me that ipsy does this kind of thing regularly. Once they screw someone, they seem to repeat it and not care to provide better service. They seem to believe there will always be churn and they’ll be okay.

        In the meantinm, when I spoke to ipsycare after receiving a broken item, I was basically told that my money paid for the membership to the site and they weren’t obligated to anything. I caught that and called them out on it. I asked them to confirm and provide documentation of this. They ignored it and offered me a refund for the item. They offered me choice for the month they rolled it out like it was bonus! They never clarified their policy.

        So here’s my opinion, I don’t do business with ipsy because they don’t handle their business with professionalism. They seem to treat some subs better than others and they do not have a consistent policy that they apply accross the board. There are just more HONEST businesses I can do business with.

What the heck is WRONG with you??? This is why they are treating you indifferently I can almost guarantee it. You don’t get to treat others like crap especially over freaking MAKE UP. That’s not how it works. This is a multi-million dollar company, they can afford to loose the dead weight so-called “customers”…….you are only costing them money and aggravation…..
