  1. Thinking about canceling this sub 🤔

    • Do it and see how you feel about it.

I paused GBP for September, had a fleeting moment of FOMO over the Nomad palette, then got over it quickly. Canceled entirely for October and have no regrets about it whatsoever and I have no interest at all now for November.

Taking an Ipsy break gave me a little better perspective on the whole sub box thing and when I look at the products in the bag in a less personally invested way, I realize I don’t actually need or want any of them at the moment. You can always sign up again any time 🙂

      • I too paused for September and had a little FOMO over the Nomad palette but soon after realized I definitely wasn’t going to lose sleep about not having it or any of the other products featured. As for October, it was super easy for me to pause again, and November; I’m waiting it out a little longer but most likely will be pausing again but if I do pause I’m just going to cancel all together. Three strikes you’re out! Ipsy’s been giving me too much JOMO lately. 😊

    • Yes

  2. I don’t know GIGI, but I like this collab. The reason I sub to Ipsy is I could find new stuff every month that I would not try by myself. I am not sure why people are angry with collab, ipsy must spend more effort for a collab than anyother month you don’t have a collab. I am really appreciate to that. If I really want a particular well-know brand item, I could always buy it in Sephora. For me, ipsy is about fun and adventure.

    • Agreed. I like trying new products. I have found my favorite mascara and eyeshadows thanks to Ipsy.

    • I’m with you, I love Ipsy for many years and all this complaining, just don’t subscribe. Beauty subscription boxes is about trying new things not “can I take your order”? And put high-end stuff for $12, $25, $50 at your request. We’re lucky that we get to choose at least one item. It’s a subscription box!!!!

      • So if I like the Betty Boop eye shadow, can I buy it at Sephora?

        • Ipsy manufactured the collab so it was only available through them. I’ve seen a lot of people reselling items from the collection.

          • I’ll likely sell mine in eBay if I ever get it.

          • I don’t want to but other people’s makeup. The sub boxes are supposed to help me find brands that I can fall in love with and buy for years. This one off stuff isn’t cutting it.

    • I think you’re right, they probably do spend more money doing Collabs with people than they would on the boxes when they don’t collab with anyone. The other thing is, Ipsy has the “shopper” aspect of it also, where people can get those popular brands they want at a lower price and get cash back. A lot of the newer brands I’ve been introduced to from Ipsy have been far superior to the brands people want to see. Phase Zero, kaleido, Nomad, IBY…they have some of the most insane eyeshadow formulas I have ever tried! Some of the daily Ipsy offers are almost too good to be true as well. If anyone had stepped up their game in the subscription box world, it’s Ipsy and they keep trying to improve. I wasn’t a fan of the Betty Boop collab but I only got one item from the collection and I got to choose what it was so that’s not too bad.

      • They spend LESS money on the collaborations than on real brands.

Both Tetris and Boop were manufactured in China and are the equivalent of the cheapest drugstore brand possible.

As of yet, the new Gigi collaboration is also not affiliated with a real “brand” so I would imagine that IPSY is using the same cheap Chinese factory to manufacture it.

I was on the fence about Boop but I received the eyeshadow palette today and the quality is terrible. It has no pigmentation – either brushed or even swatched with my finger. You KNOW there is no pigment when you can’t get a color with your index finger on your forearm 🙂

  3. Oh Ipsy lol…I like the lip gloss, but I’m a lip gloss junkie. I don’t wear blush or bronzer but I understand most do. I can’t believe they thought back to back collars were a good idea though…the reception normally is pretty bad. I cancelled ultimate after I got October’s but I still have the GBP and regular bag…excited to see the other spoilers though!

  4. I am utterly uninterested in this.

  5. Does anyone know if you pre-paid for a subscription can you skip(pause) a month? I can’t find any FAQ on their website about that.

    • To my knowledge, yes. If you prepaid for an annual subscription, you can look at it as if you just prepaid for 12 bags. So if you skip a month, then your annual subscription will just end a month later.

      • Thank you so much.

        • No, you cant!

    • No you cant either! I emailed IpsyCare and asked if i had a annual sub could i skip a month and was told No, they dont have that feature for Annual subscriptions. I would email IpsyCare and ask to make sure but they told me no.

  6. Personally, while I totally understand the frustration with Ipsy given that I ended up canceling all my subscriptions with them minutes after the October reveals, I think people are jumping the gun a bit. I think many of us are still angry about the terrible products and misleading promises that were unfulfilled in the October bags, especially Ultimate.
But as far as these first spoilers, It’s not as if anyone’s going to get ALL of these products in their bag(s). I love Betty Boop and really wanted most of those items and only received three, two of which I chose myself. And this was out of two regular bags and one Plus.

We all know we’re going to get an item or two, maybe more depending on how many subs you have and whether or not they follow your profile (my Plus was consistently the polar opposite of my preferences, reviews, etc) we definitely don’t want. I imagine that instead of some other low quality brand, it will be one of these products for many people.

I’m definitely not saying I like the collection either. The only thing I would even want to try would be the lip gloss because it looks like a gorgeous shade. I wouldn’t be happy about getting any other item from the set but to me it’s no different than receiving any of the other products I don’t like every month.
Look at it this way, at least this collection is much smaller than the BB collab so that significantly lowers the odds of getting these products.

By the way, did anyone see the “deal” Ipsy added today? The set of just eye products from the BB collab for $42.99 I think? And right beside it you’ll see the entire collection for $39.99. Now THAT is something that makes me angry. That’s not only insulting our intelligence and basic math skills, it’s a clear example of a company trying to rip people off. How can 1/3 of a collection cost more to produce than the whole thing? That’s just plain dishonest and disrespectful.

    • 👏👏👏

    • Yep, I saw that “deal” this morning too. I was like WTF?!? It was really irking me lol so I went back later in the day bc I figured I must have missed something to explain the pricing, and by then the eye set was priced at $19.99. So apparently somewhere along the line they figured out and corrected their mistake.

    • They changed the price, but I thought the same. 🙂

    • I feel the same way, the only reason I didn‘t get the lipbalm is because I already got it in my regular GB months ago, and it’s counted as a full size now? Still, I got 7 samples, not 4 like they promised and the total price comes to 230 not 250, that’s dishonesty.

  7. 2 collabs in a row? I feel like my eyes are bleeding. I paused my October Plus, so I have to get November. This is slightly better than Betty Poop, but it’s not my cup of tea. Can they partner up with an actual celebrity, a MUA or someone that already has a make up line? Maybe the collab can be like a “Huda loves Ipsy” exclusive palette. That would be 1,000 times better.

Since this collab has a gloss, bronzer and blush, it’s pretty much guaranteed that we won’t have any prestigious brands offering those items. At least we will likely get a name brand eyeshadow palette this month.

    • you don’t have to have november if you don’t want to. As far as I know you can skip any month you want.

      • I’m skipping nov plus

    • Ipsy is not about “prestigious” brands. They are a sub that originated in the “indie” brands that we normally wouldn’t buy or try, so we could find products that we love or don’t love. They said it themselves in the email they sent out to everyone. Yes, sometime we get those more known brands, but I don’t expect to see them. I was very disappointed with my ultimate this month, but it wasn’t because of the brands in it. It was because of the 6 full size and 6 deluxe size products I received.

    • Betty Poop made me cackle. Thank you for that 😂

  8. Somehow I don’t regret canceling my Ipsy subscription after the fiasco that was their first Ultimate. My gawd was that a disaster and this month doesn’t look much better.

  9. Looks like I’m skipping my November GBP as well. I’ll wait to see the rest of the spoilers before deciding for sure, just in case they put out something amazing, but personally I am really tired of Ipsy house-brand collabs.

    • It’s not an Ipsy house brand. It’s Gigi’s brand.

      • It IS an Ipsy brand because this is not makeup that is being produced in collaboration with a known brand.

When there is a collaboration with a known brand, there is the ability to have some sense of the quality of the brand – e.g. Ofra collaborations are essentially Ofra quality with more (OR LESS) input from the “influencer) in terms of colors and perhaps the style of the packaging.

These collaborations are essentially a way to package cheap makeup and have it seem to have some aura of glamour.

        • No, it really is NOT an Ipsy brand. Ipsy is NOT using their brand to produce this make-up, they are helping launch a brand developed by Gigi Gorgeous. Ipsy has nothing to do with the production of said makeup, they are promoting a new brand, just like they promoted the Ofra/Madison Miller. It’s no different other than Gigi’s line being new, so it’s not well known. Sorry, but you’re wrong.

          • I have no clue who this Gigi person is, but I did notice that a few people thought Madison Miller was an Ipsy collab, which is 100% false. Her collab was created with Ofra (like you stated), but Ipsy featured the products in our boxes.

          • Your so right! I never even heard of or seen Gigi Gorgeous until this Ipsy collab! And i watch different YouTube bloggers all the time and i have never seen Gigi!

          • This is a new brand? Really. Where is it being distributed except through Ipsy. If Ipsy is the sole distributor. Then it’s an Ipsy brand.

Madison Miller – Ofra was a collaboration with Ofra and not Ipsy.

Tetris and Boop are Ipsy brands.

Until I see that a brand is actually distributed by Ulta or other actual outlet, it’s not a brand.

          • Amarante, Ipsy is launching Gigi’s brand for her and it will be sold exclusively through Ipsy for the first month is what I heard. It’s not an Ipsy house brand, it’s an exclusive collaboration with Gigi’s brand launch. I’m not saying anyone has to like it, I know I’m not interested, but people calling this an Ipsy house brand are confused.

      • I just did a quick google, because just like so many others I wanted to know wether these products were Ipsy produced or not, and the very first article I read on GoodMorningAmerica states these products are Gigi Gorgeous x Ipsy products. It also states she teamed up with Ipsy to create these items. Therefore I assume these products will be the same quality as the Betty Boop x Ipsy or Tetris x Ipsy products. I was really hoping they were not going to be Ipsy collab products but alas they are.

        • @fetchingmommy I did the same search and everything suggests that ipsy is manufacturering her brand and each of these articles were obviously written from the same press release and the press release is not going out of it’s way to seperate GiGi Gorgeous as an entity. To me this suggests:

1 – ipsy is the manufacturer of her brand and it will likely use the same private label source in China.
2 – ipsy is potentially going to start manufacturing influencer brands that it will “launch” in their boxes.
3 – ipsy is potentially adopting a Julep maven model for sustainability (as discussed above).

This press release is either worded terribly or represents a significant shift in ipsy’s model. I suspect if ipsy does this, I could see it becoming more difficult for it to get brands to place in the box. Brands will not want people to think that ipsy owns them if they are in the box. And this isn’t an unreasonable fear as one can see from Ofra x Madison Miller collab. People are already starting to think any collab in their box belongs to ipsy. That isn’t good for a private company like Ofra.

I’m not interested in ipsy as Julep maven. I’ve not used any of ipsy’s collab products yet so I definitely don’t want to invest money in buying a subscription specifically for them. I will note that to find out that GiGi Fabulous had a brand and not just a collab, I had to google that question explicity (as I know you saw when you looked); otherwise, the coverage I saw made this look like a typical influencer collab, not a brand.

  10. These are only a few of the many products Ipsy will put in the bags so I’m still getting my regular size Ipsy and the plus bag but cancelled the ultimate last minute this last month and probably won’t sign up again unless I see they have listened to us and improve. There will hopefully be some amazing skincare and makeup in addition to this collab crap to save us!

    • This is an automatic skip 🙂

  11. Hard pass.

  12. Well I really like collabs because I get the regular bag and collabs mean full size products I will take it( I would rather have full size drugstore than teeny “prestige”) AND I thought Betty Boop was adorable and chose the lipstick as my pick an item. However I don’t like gloss or blushes so I am hoping for the brush . I even said I hope for the brush when I reviewed the boring brush they sent me this month.

  13. I hate these collabs. I have no idea who the people are that they are collaborating with and not interested in the stuff they’re making.
I will be skipping this month until Ipsy gets their act together.

  14. Not interested at all in this collab nor whoever this person is. Will skip this month’s IGBP in hopes that next month will be better. And still relieved I canceled the Ultimate before I got booped.

    • That just made me laugh so hard that I had tears rolling down my leg!😂👏👏😂😂

      • “Rolling down my leg” made me laugh, though I know it’s a typo!😂

        • Not a typo…she means peed on herself laughing lol!!

    • I’m going to wait until I see what other products crop up in the spoilers this month before deciding to pass. I have my preferences set up so I mostly receive skincare items, but if those items don’t look good, I’ll skip November – which will be a shame, because I skipped October too (with no regrets).

  15. Like gigi but do not like any of this! Mannn i just signed back up and its not looking to good.

  16. Ipsy Ipsy Ipsy 🤦🏼‍♀️ No one wants these Collabs… more like big Opsy

    • Funny!!!

  17. I’m going to try it. I’ve heard it is great stuff! It’s funny how everyone loves Kat Von D, Fenty, Jeffree Star products, but assumes this is garbage. Do a little research on the products first, and then decide. I’ve done some research, and as a makeup artist (also former Sephora consultant), I’m in! 😊👍❤️ (Looks good for any age as well!)

    • I agree! Ipsy didn’t make this collection. She is just releasing it through Ipsy. I think it’s really cute and I’m actually looking forward to it.

      • So it’s not the unbranded stuff from the same China-based cosmetics company that made the Tetris and Betty Boop collabs? I’m willing to give it a go if that’s the case. The blush duo looks nice.

        • That’s what I read. So hopefully her formula is better then the formula Ipsy uses.

        • The Boop eyeliner I got says made in Germany.

        • I don’t know why everyone is saying it’s not an ipsy brand. Gigi did an interview on GMA and said she partnered with Ipsy to create this line. Yes, ipsy did make it. Yes, Ipsy will be the retailer. Yes, it is an Ipsy collab. Yes, it’s made in China

    • Agreed! And well said 😉

    • Really? If it’s not another x Ipsy mystery brand – I’m here for it. Some of it looks pretty nice (I’m down for new blush, my collection lacks. The bronzer could be fun. I use a ton of lip balm. I hoard brushes like a dragon…) I’m nb and queer myself so the support for a fellow LGBT+ creator is awesome too.

      • From everything I’ve seen it’s her brand makeup and she’s just partnered with Ipsy to release it. Like this is just the start and there is going to be more from her in the future. I think this collection is super cute I love the packaging and I’m all about supporting her. And this is coming from someone burned by the Ipsy Ultimate. 😂

    • Agree ❤ I think the blush compact looks really pretty and I wouldn’t mind a set of brushes that are not from f.a.r.a.h 😂😂

    • How did you hear it’s great products when the interview on Ipsy page stated this will be her first ever makeup products line lauching in November?🤔

      • She unveiled the collection over the weekend. Again, a little research helps. 😘

I’m excited to try her makeup. I skipped the Boop stuff, but I’m really happy to try Gigi’s brand.

        • I think Candace is meaning that nobody has ever tried any of her makeup, so how do you know it will be good products? (Correct me if i am wrong Candace) Anybody could be on YouTube selling makeup or skin care products, you really cant tell by a picture if the products are actually going to be good or bad. I mean, i am not trying to be disrespectful and everybody has a right to there opinion but i wouldn’t get my expectations too high on Gigi products.

          • She handed out the lipglosses at Ipsy live and I’ve only seen good things said about it. I feel bad for her because she has to follow the train wreck that was the Ultimate and Betty Boop. I think if they had waited a month or two people wouldn’t be this mad. But people aren’t even going to give her a chance and automatically assume it’s garbage because they thought Tetris and Betty Boop were garbage. Even though Ipsy didn’t make the formula. Everyone has to start somewhere.

          • Yeah, everybody has to start out somewhere and i do agree that Ipsy should have waited on Gigi for a few months but do you think at Ipsy Live people are going to say anything negative about her products? No!, i am not saying that they are bad because i haven’t tried any of her makeup but i dont like pink at all and in every collab that has a pink shaded product, Ipsy sends it to me! I dont want the pink Gigi lipgloss or anything else that is pink in her makeup, the only thing that i would want to get is the bronzer and i have enough of those already!

          • Are people really that dishonest when it comes to reviews? If something is crap I will write it in right in my instagram post that it sucks 😂 Maybe that’s just me though. How will companies ever get better?! I’ve changed my mind on her though. I was excited about this launch because I think the products are cute. But after watching some of her videos and have her pretty much making fun of poor people and acting like she’s better then everyone. I’m over it. Won’t be purchasing anything extra from her.

          • People did try them over the weekend in NYC. That’s what I’m saying.

        • Skipping…..
          Skipping everything!

        • This isn’t her brand, though. This is a private label brand that ipsy buys. That’s not to crap on her getting a collab and what that means ffor her or coming from her. Fundamentally, ipsy isn’t buying high end makeup through the labs available for these things. It isn’t going to be available for purchase after, is it?

          • From what I have seen and read, the Gigi Gorgeous collection will be exclusively available for purchase through Ipsy.

  18. I don’t see anything from this collaboration that I would be interested in. Please no more bronzers and contour brushes. I like blush but those shades are way too pink for my skin tone.

  19. Bye, ipsy, you won’t collaborate with my wallet anymore

  20. Pitiful?! Really IPSY?! You literally just had an Ultimate fail (PUN SUPER INTENDED) And you lead November with this junk?! I think you should try harder or give up fast…I am gonna hold out a little longer and hope for a Super star..or like many others..I am canceling! Wow..what has happened..Stop with the Collabs and cheap stuff!

    • Is it just me or does her blush colors look either SUPER pink or SUPER orange…

    • They shouldn’t have refunded a ton of Ultimate bags because people complained. This literally means less money spent on the glam bag and glam bag plus. This is probably why we’re seeing crappy products. I don’t understand why Ipsy doesn’t stick with brand names or collaborate with known brands. Like Ipsy x Tarte or Ipsy x Charlotte Tilbury. Not going to lie, though, the Betty Boop collection was pretty great. Maybe don’t collaborate with Influencers (like only 1% have decent things, the rest of them are just money hungry people selling junk).

      • Them refunding people has nothing to do with what we’re getting this month. Everything is planned out months in advance. All sub boxes are planned out months in advance. Do you really think they whipped up this collection in less then a month because they refunded a bunch of bags. They refunded less bags then you think. Ipsy as of 2018 has 3 million subscribers. They will be perfectly fine with the handful of refunds they gave out. The whole reason there is a petition is because so few people got refunds. I’m one of those many people who didn’t get one.

  21. So disappointed. Figures l like the bag, tho.

  22. I actually don’t hate this as much as the Betty Boop collection. Dont know if this is true or not but I heard these weren’t made by ipsy she’s just partnering with Ipsy to release them. She talks about her formula in one of the posts. So maybe better quality. I think the product design is really cute though. And I love how inclusive Ipsy has become.

    • It is better than Boop.

  23. Thinking of skipping November.

I have loads of brushes and I resolutely hate bronzer.

  24. I have nothing against Gigi Gorgeous bit I am not feeling this. I am cancelling Ipsy and going to try different subscription services. I am not crazy about these collaborations and rather get makeup from Indie brands rather than yt influencers. I am going to sign up again with Boxycharm because they have been killing it lately.

  25. While I think it is great that Ipsy is supporting the LGBT community with this colab, I just never like the colab products and will probably skip unless the other products really wow me

  26. The blush duo and the gloss look nice… I like the bags, as well. Looks interesting. I’d LOVE to see the new Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream in November’s bag!

    • The SR ice is in this month’s allure. It’s like the teeeeeensiest tiniest jar 😂😂

      • I know, huh?!! Couldn’t even read the label with a magnifier.

        • Yeah but there is actually more in the bottle than what you think plus a little goes along way.

      • I know- I’m excited to try it… My Allure should be delivered tomorrow. I’ll use it sparingly, to make it last. I would really love to see a full size in Ipsy Glam Plus.

        • I got my Allure box Friday, i am pretty happy with it! I am using the Sunday Riley now, i love it and it dont take much, a little goes a long way! Plus you are getting a special gift, i cant tell you!, it is a surprise! But it is awesome!

          • Not everyone got a gift from Allure. I didn’t, I’m sure there are others.

          • You need to contact Allure then because the way i took it, based on the little card i got, everybody with a Allure subscription was getting something extra, unless they just sent the gift to random people? I dont know? Now i feel bad for even saying anything about it! But do contact them and make sure about it.

          • I also got a gift from Allure this month! I would be contacting them and making sure that you didnt get one by mistake!

          • I don’t get Allure but I’ve seen several boxes with out the gift. So I’m assuming it’s random. I saw someone say it was for long time subscribers but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

          • I got the gift in my Allure box (it was a simple choker necklace) and I’m a fairly new subscriber – it was my third box.

          • This is my third box too! What a coincidence! Lol, i also got a chocker with a $20.00 coupon to use towards that company’s jewelry. I am sure you did too, i have not actually looked at any of there jewelry online, dont really have time with new baby but i thought it was nice of Allure to do for everybody that got one, i have never been sent anything like that before in a beauty subscription box. I am happy with Allure so far, i am glad that i subscribed to them.( I just wish i had more time to use the products i get from these subscriptions, with a new baby i am exhausted but someday……lol

          • For those that got jewelry or any other gift in your box, consider yourselves lucky. Allure is definitely trying to keep customers at this point.
Supposedly, Allure sends their subscribers a surprise gift on their anniversary month every year. Really? I never got one. Ever.
When I got my box in April, it was full of leftovers and a card that stated I was receiving this because I’m such a valued loyal customer. So I called thinking that my real box was still coming and that the box I got was a gift. Nope! Then I read in the comments how new subscribers had gotten the good stuff and jewelry. Called Allure and asked why I have never gotten jewelry. I was supposed to be sent 2 pieces of jewelry because I had been with them for over 2 years. Nothing ever came. Not even replacement products. I did get a package full of Sunday Riley products but after opening it, I realized it was my address but someone else’s name. I put a note in the package, had it sent back to Allure via express mail at their expense. After it was on the way back to them, I called them with their mistake and the tracking number. It cost them $22 for that package and I don’t regret doing it to them. I still never got any gifts or replacement products of my own. I have since canceled.

          • I did not get anything. I have read about the jewelry in the comments on the Allure Box Review. It seems that everyone that said they got something, it was their third box. And I think when Allure said that everyone was getting a little something extra, the meant the 20$ coupon.

    • Yea who wouldn’t? Its probably an 80$ product like the rest of their line. Asking a little much from a 25$ sub.

      • They’ve included a full size Sunday Riley moisturizer before so it wouldn’t be unheard of.

  27. Yuck, no. The only debate here is whether to hit the pause button or the cancel button. Boxy is starting to look a lot better, I may switch back to them for a while.

  28. Seriously? Another collab? Nope, not after the Betty Poop fiasco. Skipping November.

  29. Oh goodness, I don’t want highlighters, I’m not 20. I will be passing this month.

    • I’m confused – none of the spoilers shown thus far are highlighters? Also, I’m 30, and I wear highlighter all the time. It’s definitely not something just for The Youngs.

      • Also 33 and love Highlighters. I don’t see any highlighters in this collection though.

        • Whatever is in the dropper bottle might be a highlighter (like the Suva a few months back). But I have nothing against highlighters either 🤷🏻‍♀️

          • Didn’t even notice it the first time. It’s gotta be a highlighter. Can’t think of anything else that would be in a dropper like that. Looks very coppery (if that’s even a word 😂)

        • I’m 34 and can’t figure our how to wear highlighter properly. SEND HELP 🙁

      • 30 IS young lol.

      • In the second and third pic there a bottle of liquid highlighter, plus what looks like a powder bronze highlighter. The lipgloss is shimmery and the blush, one of the shades is a shimmer pink highlight

      • You’re 30 and wearing highlighters? The horror! 30 is hardly different than someone who’s 20. When you’re 50 you might have a point.

    • Im 37 and love highlighters and i didn’t see any highlighters in these spoilers 🤔

  30. UGH. Stop with the collabs. I really want the whole set of bags though so I’m torn.

  31. No! Please No!

  32. Ugh, not another freaking collab! Get back to the Real lines Ipsy!!! I subscribed to try out new products of ongoing lines/brands, not get handed junk “collab” items every month!!! Ipsy has been seriously messing up the last several months, I keep waiting for them to get it together and show us something good, but they just keep failing!!

    • Agreed. Skipping this one.

  33. Not happy about this. I should not give Any second chance to Ultimate seeying this crap

  34. When I saw we finally were getting ipsy spoilers, I was like, “Thank baby Jesus, finally!” But wow. What is this collaboration crap? No one cares about that! We just want quality products!

Also, am I the only one who’s kind of miffed that ALL the bags will feature some of these products? I would hope that even (or especially) after last month’s fiasco, there would be better differentiation between the value of the bags.

    • EXACTLY! If we’re paying $50 freaking bucks for ‘higher end products’ & a box ‘like nothing before’ then I expect higher end products!!!!
When I received the ultimate surprise email ipsy even said that it would include much more higher end items (hence it being $50)
No one said anything about it being all about some thrown together, mediocre collabs.
& I’m honestly sick of seeing some of the comments saying that we’re all stuck up snobs because we’re unhappy about these CHEAP, low budget Items. Get over it. Y’all might have unlimited money and EXTREMELY low standards/ expectations, but most of us were led to believe this would be something different.

      • Exactly!! I’m so sick of hearing comments about how someone is “so grateful for anything they give” them, and how they would love to “receive” something. As if a subscription box is doing us a favor and we should be grateful — not that we’re paying them for these products and it is because all of us are paying together that they can afford to broker deals with these companies. If the people paying your paycheck don’t like the companies you’re brokering deals with for them, you won’t be brokering any deals for anybody very long. I pay you. Therefore, you work for my money. Ergo, you work for me and I am not “receiving” any “gifts” from you. Also the “value” of the box can be whatever the company wants to say it is when they’re producing the products themselves. What does it actually sell for in the market? Well Betty sold for under $40 for the whole set in ipsy’s own store, so what is only part of it doing in a $50 box that already has cheap items in it??

  35. I am signed up for all three Ipsy bags and am skipping them all for November. On the verge of canceling. Seems to be nothing good anymore. 🙁

  36. I wish they would get away from collaborations for a month. I haven’t loved the last two and I don’t anticipate this will be any better. I hope we only get one product like with the last two. I can tolerate that.

  37. 😂😂 perfectly put

  38. This is a bummer of a spoiler!

  39. This spoiler pushed me to finally create an account here to say that I’m really, really disappointed in yet ANOTHER collab. I’m in an “older” demographic and 1. I have no clue who this person is and 2. bless her heart but she is not my aesthetic (did I mention I’m old?).

I tolerated the Tetris collab, told my daughter-in-law she could have most of the things from the Betty Boop collab, but this one might be a bridge too far.

I joined Ipsy to get a variety of mid to higher tier items. This ain’t it.

    • I agree, gave my stuff away too, even my daughters barely wanted it😂😂😂

      • Wild how people are still acting like the sheet masks from last time were a full size item. Obviously it was a sample which they said they would include.

Anyway, these colors are so dark. Hopefully I wont get any of it.

        • It’s funny you say that they’re dark, I say they’re too light. I’m a dark tan and all of these would be useless for me. I might be able to use the lip gloss and that’s about it. So basically that means these colors only work for people in Gigi’s skintone range unless there’s something Ipsy isn’t showing us. Either way, I think I’m pausing if not completely canceling.

    • You might consider checking out Sephora’s monthly box. I always got good brands from them & they NEVER did collaborations. Check out the spoilers, reviews, & comments here on My Subscription Addiction to see if it’s a good fit for you. Good luck!

      • I actually do subscribe to Sephora Play! It was my gateway drug into subscription boxes!

    • I’m with you, Kitty.

    • Try Beautyfix and test tube. Heavy on skin care seem like a better fit for your comments.

  40. Not feeling it.

    • Nope

  41. I just paused mine too…I wished Boxycharm would start having more high end skincare so I could switch back over to them.

  42. That’s not Kristen chenowith? Lol! I actually like the packaging of everything, hate the animal fabric- I will probably stick with the smallest bag and add a thing or two with add-ons. It’s saving me money the more they collaborate!

    • 🤔Hadn’t thought about just doing add ons and pausing my plus. IbHATE the bags. Such a hideous design first of all. Second I just want to skip a bag. Ideally I would skip my regular bag and just do add ons. But I didn’t think of that so thank you for mentioning

  43. Enough with the frickin collabs, ipsy — didn’t you get the hint last month?!?! Hate the bags and don’t care for this person at all.

  44. I’ll try it.

  45. Only some fantastic skincare can save the November boxes for me.

    • I was just thinking the same thing!

  46. If I don’t see better spoilers, I’m def going to skip November. That bag is also beyond hideous.

    • I KNEW this month was going to be bad because all the free bags given out for the last month mess up…..this is going to a bad mo th again, so I wouldnt expect much this month sadly.

Looks like ipsy wasnt ready for this at all.

  47. I’m not skipping November (only because I cashed in some points and I want to cancel my account after next month). I kind of like the lip gloss and blush duo.

  48. Nope. Not doing another Ipsy collab.

  49. Here we go again, meh

  50. No. Just no. Stop the collaborations, already, Ipsy! Skipping November!

    • I second that! This is nothing like the Glam Plus we all signed up for!
