FlourishBox “Fall” 2019 Review

The first item is the insert card, providing some information on the items you will find in your box. It emphasizes their focus on ethically sourced products. The workers who make these items are paid fairly and work in safe spaces. I think this is really important and this adds so much value to this subscription for me without even knowing what is in it.

Silk and Cotton Scarf

Isn’t this just the perfect shade for a fall scarf? The modern pattern is inspired by falling leaves and has shades of peach and black. This is a lighter weight scarf and is a blend of cotton and silk. What it lacks in thickness, it makes up for in size as this square scarf is a rather large, measuring 42 inches square. Handmade in India, these beautiful scarves are hand-screened by talented artisans who make a fair wage and work in safe spaces.

It goes perfectly with my warm-hued fall attire!

Siberian Chaga Tea – Buy a box of 20 for $9.99

I always enjoy tea samples for cold weather. This brew has a blend of mushrooms and is said to have a host of health benefits. The taste was earthy, and I added some vanilla creamer to make it just a little sweet.

Barney Almond Butter Snack Pack, 0.6 oz – Buy 24 for $12.49

Who doesn’t love almond butter? I like little pouches like this because they feel really decadent, like a dessert almost!

Verdict: This was a very fall appropriate FlourishBox. Tea and a scarf? Heaven. I very much liked the pretty foliage-inspired scarf and will probably wear it often this season, unless my mom steals it while I visit for Thanksgiving. I still really love this box’s cotton/silk blend fabric and find it light but luxe. This is another oversized square shape and I say keep ’em coming!

To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: This box costs $39.95 and I received 3 items, which is an average of $13.32 per item.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. How easy or hard is it to cancel this box? I love the scarf but don’t necessarily want a new scarf every couple of months. Also, do they give you spoilers before you’re charged?
