Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:

  • Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
  • Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new VIP members. (It's unclear if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
  • Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.

Put simply, this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. (But they will automatically charge you if you take no action.) You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics 2 for $24 Leggings Review

It was easy for me to jumpstart my Fabletics membership by taking advantage of their "2 leggings for $24" deal (which has a $99 value). Once I filled out a short survey about what activities I need clothing for, colors I prefer, and sizing, I was able to choose from a ton of different types of leggings. I was a little overwhelmed but luckily my Fabletics predecessor, Anna, wrote a handy guide to the various leggings they offer!

My package had a packing list that clearly outlined what I ordered.

Since this was my first order, I also got a booklet that describes how the VIP Membership works and some of their most popular styles.

High-Waisted PowerHold Legging in Citron, size large, short inseam - Retail Value $69.95 VIP Member Price: $44.95

As soon as I saw these tennis ball neon yellow leggings I knew they had to be mine. They also happen to be from the new Massy Arias Limited Edition Collection, so look at me being on-trend! The photos don't do the color justice, but I assure you that they hurt to look at and will, in turn, keep me safe if I'm wearing them out in the wilderness or at night. I knew I wanted a high-waisted situation and "powerhold" sounded like a good way to keep my lower half looking slim. I am a pretty solid large so I didn't hesitate to order these in my usual size. What I also noticed about these is that you can choose an inseam length of short, regular, or tall which should help get the perfect fit. When I first put them on- MY WORD. I thought "Wow- these are TIGHT". I then replied to myself in my head with "Well, they ARE compression leggings! What did you expect?" and here ends the short convo with myself. These really do squeeze me in every possible way from my ankles all the way up to my natural waist but are made with a soft, thick fabric that isn't see-through or cheap. The quality comes across as really nice and the stitching is well-enforced. They're made of 88% polyester, 12% elastane and also feature a small pocket in the front right side for a key or a few bucks you may need while out on a run.

High-Waisted Motion365 Moto 7/8 in Black, size large - Retail Value $84.95 / VIP Member Price: $64.95

Moving on to my second pair, I played it safe with my comfort color- black. But I thought I'd choose a legging with some frills like a cellphone pocket (on both legs) and some fun see-through mesh and these Motion365 numbers happen to be a new style. They are also compression leggings like the others and really have a strong hold. I can't decide whether I should size up or if this is just the nature of compression leggings but I'm leaning towards the latter. I love the design of these leggings with all the cool stitching across the legs and different panels of ribbing or mesh. I did find them to be almost uncomfortably tight at the natural (high) waist, but I'm hoping they will stretch out a little with more wear and movement. I can see myself wearing these to run errands on the weekends with a baggy oversized sweatshirt while giving all who see me a healthy dose of Health Goth.

The Verdict: My first Fabletics order brought me two pairs of brand-spankin'-new leggings for a great price of only $24.00 by taking advantage of their introductory 2 for $24 deal. I'm glad I got to try out their leggings at such a discounted price and think they're definitely the nicest ones I've ever owned. The construction, style, and variety are great and it makes me excited to try some of their other pieces!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get these leggings if you sign up today? Yes, both of these leggings are still available!

Value Breakdown: The two pieces I purchased had a total retail cost of $154.90, or a member pricing of $109.90. Since I took advantage of the introductory 2 for $24 deal, I got these two pairs of leggings for a discount of over 85%!

“ I assure you that they hurt to look at,” hahaha. This is why I read all of Marne’s reviews, even if I have no interest in the actual box being reviewed 😂

I used to get Fabletics, but didn’t like how tight they were in my regular size, so I would always size up. Also, that thick fabric you described just isn’t conducive to working out, at least for me, as I need the ability to cool off and these just don’t allow that. So, I prefer the brands Ellie sends out because the fabric is breathable and is a much better deal money-wise. Win win with Ellie for me!

I have never tried ellie but I love the items I have purchased from fabletics. I like a compression fit and strong hold and hate for my leggings to feel loose or roll as I am bigger. I have only made a couple or orders and only had to return some things on the first order due to me not being sure if I needed plus size or the xxl sizing. I don’t think any leggings are work 50 bucks to me but on a deal I think they are great. Happy with my bras and tops as well.

I agree on leggings not ever being worth $50. I’m glad you like Fabletics. They’re just too hot for me since my main reason for wearing any kind of legging is to get my sweat on!
