Liz,
The headline at the top says it’s launching on 11/2. The details in the body state that it’s launching on 11/12. I just wanted you to be aware of the discrepancy.

This just solidified skipping my Ipsy GBP account this month. I signed up for the premium waitlist seconds after the email came in, so I feel good about my chances on that too. I’m just gonna have to keep my eyes peeled on the 12th for the start of this sale. Does anyone remember what time the last one started?

Jk
I think at 12 pm EST was the last one.

Do most of you check your email for BC or MSA when the sale begins since it can vary a little ?
Thanks

I wish we could use our points for some of these items or at least half points and half cash. I have $142 with nothing in the shop that I don’t already own

I had a good experience with the last Boxy Pop Up. I didn’t get much but the prices were great and my items shipped promptly. I will definitely take a look to see what else they have on offer. Nothing here grabs me, but I’ve got a VERY full stash closet.

Anyone interested in the MAC Ruby Woo, i received it in an Allure box a long time ago and it is pretty much the perfect shade of red you can ever get. and long lasting with out being overly dry. google it its amazing.

I also received it, but mine was so dry that it wouldn’t adhere to my lips. Normally, the lipsticks are creamy and glide on. I couldn’t even press and get color to apply. A random mark would go on and if I slid it across my lips, it got stuck and pulled my skin. 😵

Ooooo! I’m always in search of the perfect red. I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!

I received this body brush with a fabfitfun box and I loved it at first but I have to be honest with you it didn’t take long for all the bristles literally to fallout just fair warning

I also received it from F³, but I use it every second day (dry) and it is still perfectly intact. Do you use yours wet? I’m asking because want to ensure I keep it in good condition, I love the scratchiness.
AB
thanks for that info!

Depending on how popular the item is, could be within hours or minutes.

Is it 11/2 like the title says? Or November 12 like in the body of the post?

Omg ! Great prices in stuff on last pop up – I’ve been waiting for this second one ever since , just hope too many people don’t jump on different emails like last time and take all the products leaving others with nothing .. gluttony
IMO – BC doesn’t really limit items or can chase what email belongs to what physical address , so last time some people stockpiled :/ which left others with nothing 😡🎃

I definitely want the serum, exfoliant and essence. I have never tried Thank You Farmer or QMS (but researched enough to confirm they’re both cruelty free) and I love Saturday Skin! I’m so impressed with the brands and products Boxy is offering lately. After being LONG time subscribers to both, Ipsy could learn a thing or two from Boxy about product offerings these days.

I wasn’t able to find anything about QMS being cruelty free. Both QMS and Thank You Farmer products contain collagen, which is something I avoid since I am a vegetarian. I know that cruelty-free means no animal testing, and I appreciate that, but I’m not sure how byproducts of the meat industry like collagen can be obtained without some form of animal cruelty.

Seaweed..algae both have great collagen and are used for beauty products

11/12 or 11/2? You have conflicting info there

They are following more of the FabFitFun type product offers than they are Ipsy. FFF is more directed to lifestyle, and I definitely see lifestyle items vs beauty items here.

🙄 no I don’t want another FFF :/ just give me skincare and makeup , if I wanted lifestyle I’d sub to FFF or popsugar 🤮
Dani G.
That’s true although that’s not really what I meant. They’re definitely adding more lifestyle items to their offerings but I barely noticed that stuff. I learned from several years of FFF that those type of items may look appealing online but ultimately I don’t use much of it. I gift it or pile it up for donations. I meant the skincare brands and products. I just don’t feel like Ipsy is bringing enough to the table lately. Up until recently I much preferred and recommended Ipsy over Boxy. Plus I just recently found out that Ipsy is manufacturing makeup for certain brands. I love trying new brands and products. But if I discover one of those products in an Ipsy bag and want to purchase it, if I get it from the company’s website or another retailer it may not be the same exact formulation. Frankly I don’t understand why Ipsy is doing that or why the companies want them to. It makes no sense.
I still have SERIOUS issues with the way Boxycharm does business but speaking strictly about the beauty products being offered by each, Ipsy’s losing to them right now. At least as far as skincare goes, which is what I care about the most these days. The makeup I see here is definitely not nearly as exciting. All three of those products have been around for ages. If Boxy starts putting those kinds of things in our boxes, or worse the lifestyle items, I’ll be singing a different tune.

Thank You Farmer would be my only interest from this group. Don’t plan to buy, though.
