This box looked great, now here comes the shampoo && conditioner that I have never heard of… Does anybody know if its sulfate free && safe for color treated hair?? I have seen two different ingredient list for the shampoo smh.

Our rich and creamy moisturizing shampoo breathes new life into dry – damaged and chemically treated hair. hair comes alive with softness and shine.
Brand: SACHAJUAN
Type: Shampoo
Benefit: Moisturizing, Reconstructing, Volumizing, Smoothing
Ingredient: Moroccan Argan Oil
Formula: Paraben‑free
CUT AND PASTE.
I DOUBT IT IS COLOR SAFE.

From Sachajuan’s website…
“Intensely moisturizing shampoo for dry, bleached, lighter coloured or highlighted hair. Contains Ocean Silk Technology and argan oil to provide optimal moisture, leaving the hair healthy and manageable.”
However, I’m not sure what that means, seems an odd description.🤨

This will be 3rd skip for me. I’m so sad that Beauty Fix just isn’t doing it for me anymore. When shampoos and conditioners are in a box, I wish they would double the conditioner so that I can actually try it. I may get two uses of the shampoo but the conditioner will either have to be scalp or ends. ☹️ I loved BeautyFix because what you saw was what you got. One price; no variations. Spoilers are in every box. Do the boxes still sell out every month? Is it just me? I am on overload, so just call me jaded. 😑

They are 3 oz bottles so surely you can get more than two uses out of them.

It’s definitely interesting how differently people feel about each month’s offerings. I’ve had no desire to subscribe in ages but I am pretty sure I want to come back at least for this box.

Michelle

Me too! I was sold on the Glytone.

Gosh guys, it seems to make sense to go to Sachajuan’s website. I see no parabens in the ingredients for this particle shampoo. I didn’t check any others.

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

But the version on Dermstore’s site has parabens so I guess it is not clear.

Jennifer

That shampoo and conditioner is only 2nd to Oribe in my book. I have flaky scalp and it does wonders for me.

Reply ButtonReply

C L

Do you know if thus shampoo/ conditioner is safe for color treated hair?

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I have color-treated hair–and don’t notice more fading than normal. But– that is totally unscientific! I get my hair dyed every 6 weeks, and sometimes a toner refresh during my blowout– every three weeks or so. But– I try not to wash my own hair very often- with the exception of with this or Oribe. So, the sample sizes are good for me.

Jill M

Well thank you beautyfizzzzzzz for fizzing out and saving me money this month! 😂

beautyfix..its still no go.

Rosette

Had me at the peeling gel, lost me at the shampoo & conditioner…

These look great. I will likely resub for this box. Personally, I have a ton of cleansers and they last forever so I don’t mind a sample size of that. Although, this particular one sounds like it will be nice for my dry skin and I may wish there was more, lol.

Pamela

I will definitely be getting this box. I have hair that is very difficult to tame, so I’m always looking for something new to try and help that out. (Cuz nothing works). Like someone else said, those are worth the box alone.

Kristin

The Sachajuan scalp shampoo is the bomb.

Reply ButtonReply

Lee

The shampoo has sulfates and like five different parabens… No, thank you.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I don’t think it does. I have the full size and don’t see any. It is a great shampoo for me. I swap it with Oribe– when I can afford it!

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

It does not contain parabens or phthalates not sure where you are seeing parabens, check out Sephora. To each their own, it does wonders for me.

Annie

Methylparaben
Butylparaben
Ethylparaben
Propylparaben
Isobutylparaben

All Parabens

Sulfates are a complete deal breaker in hair products. Absolutely no hair product should be using those at this point in time. Thank you so very much for pointing this out. I was just about to finally resubscribe after a year, but there is no way I will if they include a shampoo and/or conditioner with sulfates.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Why? They are just a cleansing agent (and they clean very well), there is nothing wrong with sulfates. I am not even convinced that sulfate-free shampoos preserve dye jobs better, based on the literature I’ve read and my own experience.

Ellie F

Respectfully, there are many great all-natural boxes out there. Beauty Fix doesn’t claim to be that. Not everyone has an issue with sulfates, and there’s no reason for BF to not include shampoos with them. I look forward to trying this!

Lisa

Why do hair companies still have sulfate in their shampoo’s. My scalp gets itchy just about it 😭

Reply ButtonReply

TL

Thank you for bringing that to my attention!

First time I’m feeling pulled back in since cancelling a year or so ago. Everyone has different likes and needs, so it is just my two cents, but this one is definitely bringing some great brands to the table. I’ve used Olaplex exclusively for years, so I really need to try something new to mix it up a bit. Hopefully, this will be good. I’ve go so much Oribe and Living Proof, I don’t know which one to use. Anyone have experience with the various brands? I’m looking for products that control frizz and fight dryness.

Reply ButtonReply

h

Nevermind. Just saw a post that someone stated that these include sulfates. Those are a no go for me. Will not be subscribing after a year long hiatus, after all.

Reply ButtonReply

Nina

It doesn’t contain sulfates. Please don’t make decisions solely based on comments here. A lot of people truly are misinformed. Best way to make a decision is to do the research and decide for yourself. Check the ingredients on the Sachajuan website. It’s the most legitimate place and will be correct.

Melissa

Guess they put all their eggs in the glytone basket 😂 still happy about the box

JuJu

“sulfates are not the evil ingredients they’ve been made out to be”

I’ll let you in on a little secret: neither are parabens. 😊

Reply ButtonReply

Jean

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I’m still in for the Glytone – their products are super effective for me!

Stephanie

Shampoo and conditioner got me to subscribe. Love love love bf!

Love Beautyfix

Nat

Looks great. I haven’t tried this shampoo and conditioner, but I have a hair mask by this company and I like it

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Completely unremarkable so far, IMO.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I don’t think it does. I have the full size and don’t see any. It is a great shampoo for me. I swap it with Oribe– when I can afford it!

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

I don’t think this response was meant for me.

Anna

Nice! The shampoo and conditioner alone cover the price of the box and I never mind quality travel-friendly haircare. The glytone peeling gel is great too! So far so good. Hoping for a nice serum and/or moisturizer.

Paula

I would love to try the shampoo & conditioner….but These appear to be 100 ml each, so only worth $20? Can anyone confirm?
