Wohven Graphic T-Shirt September 2019 Review

Here are the various subscription options that Wohven offers:

It looks like they recently added a women’s T-shirt option, too, and this month they were kind enough to send a shirt for both my husband and I!

On the outside of the bag, Wohven includes information about the artist behind this month’s tee. This touch really gives our shirts an exclusive feel. It’s always fun to learn about the artists behind each design!

My husband wears a size medium, and he finds that these shirts fit pretty true to size, although he does prefer that they hang to dry after washing to keep the fit a bit looser on him. The shirt is made from 60% combed ringspun cotton and 40% polyester and it is soft and comfortable.

My husband and I are big fans of the design this month and the simple color scheme. The artist says he is often inspired by nature and likes to incorporate oceans and mountains when he can and I think this design is a great example of this! I love the layers of textured lines which look like they could be waves or hills and how they all fit within the larger hexagon.

Here is the women’s shirt which costs the same as the men’s design and is made from the same material. This is a medium and while it fits okay, I think it might run a bit small if you are larger at the bust as it felt a bit tight on me there. It’s definitely comfortable and soft just like the men’s so I was super happy to have my own tee this month!

The women’s cut is a bit more slender and the design in the center is much smaller as you can see here. The knit of the shirt is a bit tighter too so even the color looks slightly different, although only noticeable here when they are side by side.

Here we are in our matching shirts! We had our 5-year-old take this for us, so it’s a bit blurry, but I think you can get a good feel for how the men’s and women’s styles differ!

Verdict: My husband is always a huge fan of the Wohven tees he receives each month and so am I, so it was nice to receive my own shirt in a women’s cut. I think it’s great that they are expanding their line – we could actually get the whole family in matching tees if we wanted, which is pretty fun! I am also happy that the women’s cost for the shirt is the same for the men’s which means for the two T-shirts it was a total of $30 ($13 +$2 shipping per shirt). I think it’s totally worth it for a unique, quality T-shirt delivered to your door each month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, according to their FAQ:

  1. I think the idea is supercute and would consider it, but only if the shirts were 100% cotton and consistently had women’s cuts. If there is polyester, I’m out.

  2. I never comment but you are such a cute couple! And really your 5 year old took the photo? How adorable! That’s why he is missing his top of his head 😂

    • Aww thanks, Flora! And yes, that’s the reason for the cut off head! 😂 I let my 3 year old attempt a photo next, but that one was all feet. Lol

  3. You both look fantastic!

    • Thanks, Erin! 😊

  4. Good review! I subbed one month for my hubby but sadly since he is a HUGE dude the shirt ran just a tad small. It’s a great quality shirt though and he still wears it even though it’s snug, he likes it that much. It also washes really well and hasn’t shrunk so I think it’s a pretty fair deal.

If they went up one size in the tshirts I would re-sub for him so I’ll keep my eye on this one.

    • Thanks, Carey! 😊 Bummer on the sizing, but hopefully they will continue to expand their lineup! 🤞
