  1. Not for this price, no.

    • AGREE

  2. All of these Advent Calendars coming out this year are soooo overpriced!! I wouldn’t pay half of what they are asking for these. Ulta is gonna be coming out with a platinum or diamond member beauty bag as a GWP that will be free and I’ll get most of what’s in here lol. I’m planning on making a big skincare purchase, but I’m waiting for the day they release the GWP bag.

  3. Wow, I’ve received most of these exact same items and sizes in Allure, Ipsy and Sephora play in the last year. It’s very obvious that the box isn’t worth the price when most of are these sample sizes.

  4. I am not sure I’d even pay $50 for this stuff. No originality like they normally have in their monthly boxes. Easy pass.

  5. This isn’t worth $50.

I’m subbed to Macy’s Beauty Box, and while I’ll pay $180 for the next year’s sub, I’ll get at least 12 full size items, 48 deluxe minis, plus bonus items, and bags or brushes. Don’t forget a minimum of $60 in coupons.

  6. I’ll buy it when it’s 70% off!

    • I’m with you!

  7. For $129 they couldn’t even include the full size of the NYX mascara? LMAO. Passing for sure. Wouldn’t even be tempted at $50. Thank you for the full spoilers!

  8. It seems to me that all the Advent items are so overpriced.

  9. I subscribe to ipsy. With the price going up to $12, I’ll pay $144 next year (plus tax), but I’ll be receiving 60 samples over the course of the year (5 x 12). When I think of it this way, I think a lot of these advent calendars are way overpriced for 24 samples.

  10. I would pay $70 for that. I’ve tried a lot of these products and do love them.

  11. The value isn’t there. No offense, but this is not worth $125 (or $106.25 with the 15% off coupon) to anyone who subs to Ipsy, Boxy Charm, or even Allure. I’m not sure what Macy’s is thinking with the initial pricing of this calendar – unless they are just focused on people who don’t know about subscription boxes, or those who are desperately looking for a generic gift for someone who might like personal care products. Like others have mentioned, this is a $50 advent calendar.

  12. $129? Emphatic no

    • Agree. No way at that price.

  13. Pretty pricey for the size of the samples…

    • No. They are reaching- a lot.

  14. Those are small sized samples.

    • Beautiful assortment. Price too high.

  15. I think it looks good!!! Don’t need any of it … I’m right at product overload threshold already…

  16. Maybe for about $50… that’s ridiculous markup for samples.

    • I totally agree. No way I would pay $129. Ridiculous.

  17. Looks great but at over 5 bucks a sample I’ll stick to ipsy add ons.

  18. This looks pretty good…will def wait for a good sale, though!

    • Love the items, not the price. I ordered the look fantastic advent. Haven’t had an advent calendar since I was a kid so kinda excited for it. Maybe this one will go on sale too

  19. Want = yes!! Need = no 😊 I wonder if this will have a lower price on black Friday (assuming its still available then).

    • Yes…I want pretty much everything. Need? Hell no – I am on sample overload as it is.

      • Same here! But if the price dropped significantly, I may have to buy, product overload or not. The struggle is real!!
