Frank And Oak Style Plan for Men September 2019 Review
This month, John changed up his default selecti0ns and picked a few items to jazz up his fall wardrobe. Let’s see what he picked!
Here’s the invoice for the three pieces John received, plus the return instructions. (If you didn’t know before, Frank And Oak is a Canadian company, which explains all the French you’ll see on their packaging and paperwork!)
I’m so glad John went with these pants as one of his picks this month. I think the teal-grey is a great color for fall and will be an alternative to black or navy that will work well with many of the shirts he has received from Frank And Oak in the past. The fabric is made from 98% cotton/2% spandex and is comfortable for John, especially since he isn’t used to slim pants. He’ll have to get these hemmed – something that has to be done to all Frank And Oak pants for him – but they are so nice, it’s worth it.
The Lincoln 5-Pocket Twill Pant in Grey, 34×34 – Retail Price $79.50, Member Price $69.50
These pants have the same fabric composition as the previous pair but feel and fit very differently. They’re thinner and more like a dress pant. They also fit tighter through the hips and waist and are looser toward the lower leg. John will need to get them hemmed, which will hopefully help reduce the baggy look at the ankle. The two-tone weave wasn’t noticeable in the pictures online but is obvious in person. John likes it since it gives the pants a bit of texture.
Good Cotton Reverse Jersey Bomber in True Black, L – Retail Price $89.50, Member Price $78.50
This bomber jacket was picked after a little convincing from me. John has a navy bomber from a previous Frank And Oak box that looks really good on him, so I thought a black version would be a smart addition to his wardrobe. They are easy to layer over tees or button-downs and give enough warmth for chilly days without being too heavy. This particular bomber runs a bit big, and John could probably have exchanged it for a medium. He’s already worn it several times though, so I think he’s okay with it. 🙂
The Verdict: Since John started receiving Frank And Oak’s style plan, his wardrobe has not only improved in style but also in fit and quality. He and I both are always impressed by the quality, thoughtful design details, and comfort factor of their clothing. And, they work hard to be sustainable and environmentally friendly. The price vs. quality is awesome, and we’ve had positive experiences with the Frank And Oak Customer Service when we have had questions.
To Wrap Up:
Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each box is customized based on your style plan. Under the $25 styling fee plan, boxes ship automatically on the 1st of the month, and you can log in 2 days before shipment to add or remove items or skip the month altogether. That said, you can still follow the product links above to shop these items for yourself from their site catalog!
Value Breakdown: The regular retail price of these three items is $248.50. Because John is a member, he got these items for a total of $217.50. If he were to return all the items, he’d pay the $25 styling fee and would be refunded the remaining amount, but if he keeps at least one item at the discounted price, no styling fee will be charged.
