September 2019 BuddhiBox Yoga Box Review
BuddhiBox always includes a card with a mantra or saying on it. On the reverse is this month's item list. Most of the products they include are cruelty-free, organic, vegan, or more than one!
Also included this month was a card about Yogic breathing and a BuddhiBox Sticker.
Let's see what's inside.
We have received cuffs from this brand in this box before and it is always nice to get handmade items that support smaller artists. These adjustable cuff rings are stackable, or you can wear them alone. Because they have an open design, they are adjustable when it comes to sizing.
Gypsy Soul Organics Sister Wind Yoga Mat Spritz, 2 fl oz – Retail Value $25.00
If you are a regular yogi, a good mat spray is essential to keeping your practice fresh and clean. This spray has essential oils of lavender, witch hazel, eucalyptus, spearmint, and basil. While I think it would be a little strong to use in class (and slippery too!) this is the perfect sort of spritz to leave on your mat overnight then wipe off. Super clean and smelling good!
BuddhiBox String Backpack - Listed Value $15.00
This box usually comes with a drawstring linen bag, but this month it was upgraded to a string backpack. This is a nice size for your yoga essentials such as a water bottle, strap, may spray and wipes, and other smaller objects.
PlantLife Breath Easy Oil Blend, 10 ml - Retail Value $9.95
My husband has the worst allergies so we are usually diffusing different oils to help clear his sinuses, especially in the late summer and fall. This blend contains camphor, cedar, peppermint, eucalyptus, fir, and rosemary and it is potent! You can literally feel your sinuses clear when you inhale. I can't wait to give this a try in the diffuser tonight!
Toe Talk Inhale Dandelion Socks - Retail Value $10.00
Finally, our last item is a cute pair of socks with a dandelion design and "inhale, exhale" sentiments. Though they don't have grips for using during practice, they would be a warm addition to your savasana practice.
The Verdict: Though my BuddhiBox Yoga Box had some great items this month, it did feel a little on the lighter end for a $35 box. Though the retail value was good (around $81 even without the backpack) it might have benefitted from a "wow" piece or even a crystal or two. I like the essential oil blend a lot, and the rings were very cute. The mat spray will go to good use, and the socks were so perfect for the "breath" theme of this box.
To Wrap Up:
Value Breakdown: This box costs $34.95 + $5 shipping, which means that each of the 5 items (minus the course or the drawstring pouch) in the box has an average cost of $7.99.
