Definitely yes. I have been keeping an eye on this box since summer and am interested.

I already get Oceanista and am expecting my 3rd box soon. It is fabulous and also needs to be reviewed. I also get California Found and Beachly/Coastal Co. Beach themed boxes are so fun and induce such relaxing stay-cation vibes!

Omgosh! That Sunday Riley Ice cream is brand spanking new in Sephora and I’m dying to try it! Awesome deal! I’ll definitely be resubscribing! 😱🙌😍

That’s the only item that looks good. I wish I knew the size. I am pausing/canceling again. Usually there is only one thing in the box that I won’t use. October only has one item that I like. Bummer.

I love the Allure box & have never gotten duplicates. I’ve subscribed to BoxyCharm, Ipsy, Birchbox, & BeautyFix for almost two years. The one box I consistently look forward to & am not disappointed with is Allure. I just got my Boxy Luxe yesterday & there is literally ONE item I plan to keep in it. Allure is only slightly more than Ipsy & Birchbox, but the product quality & sizes are great. If I had to keep only one sub box of all those – it would be Allure for sure – great skin care & makeup.

Wait. Again with the Eyelite shadow? I already received that bronzy shade w\in the past few months.

Reply ButtonReply

Gabrielle Gilbert

Allure has actually been repeating for months!! If You watch the Allure stories on Insta, they show the SAME products every month, but say if You previously got it, you won’t again. But new subs will get the same. Probably so many people cancelling, like I am about to. I should have months ago, at least to get it these last crappy boxes for $10……Going with BoxyCharm for 5$ more🐞

Yikes!! I just got my (September) box and it’s awful and spoilers for October look bad as well. The old beauty curator left a year and a half/two years ago and ever since then, they quality and products have went downhill.

They keep sending the same items over and over and not new items…things that have been around for a long time (and 99 percent) arent the iconic amazing items. They are just junk. I just dont get what’s going on at allure, especially when other subs are working on raising their quality and options, Allure is just stagnant and just dont seem to care. The sad thing about that is they are the ones in the “industry ” and have been in the game way longer then anyone else and they should have knowledge of new items and even old amazing items people use and love, or they forgot about and allure reintroduced them.

And they dont seem to listen to what people are saying or wanting from the sub. Its mind boggling how amazing this box was consistantly for many years, and now, it’s just a bunch of junk. I really wish allure would wake up and listen to us. I grew up in the 90s buying allure magazine every month and wouldn’t miss a month for nothing, so it’s sad to see something that’s supposed to be so connected and should really blow this out of the water and did for a while, just kinda sink slowly!!

I hope someone gets them to listen, or at the very least read here to see thoughts and opinions of people…

Happy thoughts

I agree! With the way things are going in life right now, I’m going to have to redo the budget and start making cuts. Target has made that pretty easy. Allure has been so inconsistent & at this point, I can’t even swap or give away 1/2 the stuff I have from the last few Allure boxes that I have gotten. Ipsy raised their price to $12 but at least with them, I get a good enough mix that if I won’t use it, my girls will. Ipsy, $12.00 + perks verses Allure, $16.48 & no perks. I’m pretty sure who will make the budget and who won’t. Considering Allure also seems to play favorites and sends some subscribers extras, including jewelry, and they’ve never sent me anything extra, I see no reason to stay a loyal subscriber. I think I will simply call if they have a good box that I will actually use.

I agree!! I can’t even give or sell what I don’t want away! It was the best box, I cancelled all others. Now I’m cancelling Allure and going with BoxyCharm. VERY WELL SAID!! 🐞

Justmissjamey

I’m glad I’m not the only one, but its sad to see it go downhill like it did. Can someone contact them and send them this forum and show them how the past few months so many people are unhappy and why?!

Guliko

Hii, i live in austria, if the shippment is possible there ?

Reply ButtonReply

Your Friends @MSA

Great question, Guliko! I’m afraid they do not ship to international addresses at this time according to their FAQ.

Reply ButtonReply

Larena

Allure. We must have words. Sending a duplicate item within the same year, let alone FOUR months is superduper unacceptable. This jazz is uncool. Different (possible)shade, doesn’t matter. Nothing innovative about a repeat….

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

This is an easy pass. Eyelites, AGAIN! I am just going to bite on the Ipsy annual.

Reply ButtonReply

Denise Atkinson

I have been wanting to buy that peel for the longest time but never did so I’m really happy that I get to try it in the Box

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

I’m interested to know what size the SR Ice and SDJ Bum Bum are.

Reply ButtonReply

Jill M

The bum bum is the smallest jar that’s sold for $10 I’m thinking. It’s the only size that will fit in Allures boxes, and the SR looks like it will be the usual 0.17 oz deluxe sample to me. It really doesn’t look like a half ounce jar to me in the photo. But I guess we will see.

Reply ButtonReply

R.

I’m guessing the bum bum will be the little 20ml jar. Not sure about the SR ice but maybe a .5 oz jar? Crossing fingers for full sized since they’ve done full sized SR in the past though.

Reply ButtonReply

katy

Same here.

I skipped September. At this point, I’ve become an every other month subscriber. I was going to get the October box, but now, I’m on the fence about it. I am looking at it from several directions and I just don’t know if this box will truly be worth it for me. I do think it’s a solid box at this point, but I simply don’t have the want or need for a liquid eyeshadow and neither does anybody else I know. I would give my niece the bum bum cream and I would use the skincare. Since I don’t know the size of the Sunday Riley, I don’t know that I want to spend $16.48 on a tiny sample and 3 peel pads. I guess I will wait for the next spoiler and then decide.

Reply ButtonReply

tammy g.

has anyone tried the ice, sunday riley?….how is it to dry skin?

Reply ButtonReply

R.

It’s new. It’s already available on sephora right now. It says it’s a “pro-ceramide moisturizer that strengthens the natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors for plump looking baby soft skin”. It’s intended for all skin types.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

It’s brand new, I’m pretty sure this box will be the first chance for anyone to try it

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I love the facial products, but the eye and lip colors have been not my style. I usually just give the eye shadows away and I got two different bright red colors for the lips in my past two boxes. It’s nice because I would never buy that shade for myself, but I would prefer a nice neutral gloss. No more matte please.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristen

I’ve become obsessed with the clear lip gloss from Glossier, its bomb! I’d give it a try 🤷‍♀️😘 My handle name on YT is “Sincerely, Kristen” I’m about to give the lip gloss a review and demo over different lip tints, shades and sticks! 🙌

Reply ButtonReply

Irina

I own beige shadows. So sticky and patchy

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

Yay, another either/or.

Granite would be good for Halloween.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I like ModelCo but I just got the Laritzy liquid shadow last month and don’t need another of basically the same thing.

Reply ButtonReply

Judith Acosta

Only interested on bum bum but i know it will be a mini size. The other items are horrible

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

Judith, Sunday Riley and M-16 are horrible? YIKES, how can you claim that, they are some incredible products, albeit skincare. Perhaps you are not a skincare fan?

Reply ButtonReply

Lily

I’m not the OP but I’ve found that there are NO Sunday Riley products which do anything for my skin. The oils make me glow bright red for some reason, maybe a preservative, and the creams and lotions contain too strong a chemical solution for my sensitive skin. I have full sized products that have never been opened- I can’t use them.

I LOVE good skincare that’s gentle for my skin type, which is mature and sensitive. Sunday Riley is apparently curated for a younger demographic than my old bones.;)

Dot

I agree great skincare right there !

amber

The SR item is brand new, how do you know it will be horrible??

Reply ButtonReply

Christa H.

I was only going to re-subscribe for the bum bum cream, but since Sol de Janeiro put out the BIGGIE BIGGIE BUM BUM cream, I just bought that instead. That will last me forever! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

DeeCee

I bought the biggie bum bum and I am disappointed because the scent is so faint! They changed the formulation for the big tub IMO

Reply ButtonReply

R.

Yikes, good to know. I’ve been saving my reward points and was eyeing that. I have enough for $40. I’ll probably get one of the sets instead.

FYI I recommend signing up for their reward program on their website. I signed up when they first launched it, helps save a bit of money.

Lisa

I love liquid eyeshadows just not rose gold ones so hope Amazon sends granite. So far I want to try everything except peel.

Reply ButtonReply

Nat

Still interested in this box for the first 3 items revealed. I wish there was no Modelco, but I guess I can give it away or throw it away if nobody wants it. Already have St. Barts from May box. It’s not good quality

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Ugh. Enough with the cream eyeshadows, most of them suck. Unless they are Stila, I don’t want them.

Reply ButtonReply

Linda Novak

I don’t about about anyone else but I love everything so far for October!!!!!!
For September, I love Nars but I really dont want a lip crayon. I’d rather have the powder.

Reply ButtonReply

Sharon in SE TX

We’re twins! I like October, but I don’t want the Nars lip crayon. I’ve never tried Nars and I would like too, but that color wouldn’t compliment my skin. I haven’t gotten an Allure box in over a year, but September and October make me want to come back.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristen

Same here!

Kristin

I only use lip balms so guaranteed to get the lippie.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

While I enjoy getting my Allure box, I was surprised to see that it had gone up to $15. I am assuming they are just raising the price because other subs are doing so, but am going to put my money towards upgrading my Ipsy rather than continuing with Allure.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Allure has always been $15. It’s possible you signed up with a promo, or sometimes when you cancel they will offer a few months at $10 if you stay.

IPSY is the one that is upping price ($10 to $12) this October.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

Allure raised their price to $15 when Boxy raised price to $21 and Play raised price to $10. Meaning it has always been that price. First box is $10 then it is $15 after that.

Reply ButtonReply

Daisy

😂🤣😂

Emma

When was Play ever less than $10 that it had to be “raised” to $10?

Ann V

Allure’s been $15 for at least three years now.

Reply ButtonReply

Dot

No I got the 4 month special for $10.00 to stay twice now , so once it’s over in November I’m done that’s what I meant I pay $10.00 for 4
Months

AH

I second that Allure has been $15 for a very long time, and they are one of the few (imo) that have actually NOT had any price increases for years. I’m pretty sure it was $15 all the way back to 2015.

Now, they have allowed certain members to have a $10 price for maybe four boxes when they went to cancel, and I have read of at least one person being continually charged the $10 price, but this is an anomaly. The majority have been paying $15 and tax for this box.

Allison

I’ve had this box since January and it has been $15 the whole time. Was it not always that much?

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

I keep thinking that maybe I’ll sign up for some beauty boxes again and then I see Sunday Riley and I”m like “no, that stuff totally burns my face” and I go on about my day, temptation avoided.

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

Doesn’t burn me – I just can’t stand the turmeric smell, and the other SR products seem “meh” and other brands charge far less for the same thing. Overhyped, IMO.

Reply ButtonReply

Court

What is in it that burns our face?!! I want to love it too but the water cream even burnt my face.

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

I don’t know. Right now I am using a glycolic acid cleanser and a retinol product from Peter Thomas Roth, and an alcohol toner from Clinique, and two different physical exfoliants (one from Dermalogica in the morning and one from Derma E in the evening), and Epionce Lytic Tx+, and all of that together doesn’t burn my face the way Sunday Riley products do.

Cyndi

I love the three skin care products; anything Model Co, I can live without.
