YogaClub Guru Subscription July 2019 Review

This month, I received a pair of patterned leggings and a solid sports bra and tank. A few extras were also included. Let's check them out!

Sometimes, little extras are included with my outfit. This month I received a sample protein bar, a coupon for organic eggs, and a coupon for Bright Cellars, a wine subscription. Read our Bright Cellars reviews here!

Here's my outfit for the month!

Vie Active Sienna T Stone, M - Retail Value $52

This material is used on every top I've gotten from Vie Active and it's pretty unique. The viscose/spandex mix is soft, stretchy, and has a looser knit texture. It feels delicate to me but holds up well during workouts and washes with no issues on a cold cycle. I love how the cut of this tee flows away from my midsection and is longer in length. Plus, the cutout in the back lets the strappy-ness of my bra show through. I can say I wouldn't pay retail value for a workout tee, so it's great that it's mine for a significant discount.

Whisper Rebecca Full-Length Legging in Black/Multi, M - Retail Value $92

Space dye is such a cool pattern! It adds a bit of texture but remains neutral. I'm a fan of the wide, mid-rise waistband, and brushed feel of the poly/spandex fabric. The length is not full length on me and I'm only 5'6." I'm not bothered by it but just be aware if you are looking for an actual full-length legging. I'm probably just spoiled now, but I would prefer to have pockets. I like to slide my insulin pump into them while working out to make sure it stays put.

MPG Elliptical 2.0 Sports Bra in Port Geo, L - Retail Value $48

This is a great sports bra. It's cute, super supportive, and has ample coverage. All of those black bands on the back are made of soft elastic so they help me feel secure without cutting in. While this bra is listed as medium support, I feel like I could go from HITT to yoga without worry. It also features removable cups, 4-way stretch, and moisture-wicking fabric. I'm very happy with this pick for me!

The Verdict: This month, my YogaClub outfit is great. I usually wouldn't pair cool and warm tones together (like the tan tee and gray leggings) but it works well. Plus the separate pieces fit well into my overall athletic wardrobe. My favorite piece is the sports bra! The leggings are almost perfect – if only they had pockets. I'm happy with the quality of each piece and love having outfits delivered.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Everyone's box is curated to fit their specific style, needs, and size, so what I got in my box this month might be different than what you get. But that also means you might get something that you love even more! Get started here.

Value Breakdown: This box after shipping costs $83.95 and I received a total value of $192. Here are the approximate costs of each item:

  • Vie Active T - $22.74
  • MPG Sports Bra - $20.99
  • Whisper Legging - $40.23

Yui

Sorry, if I’m rude, insinsitive, or obnoxious for this but I’m just really curious for asking this. What is on your/her chest?

Hi, Yui. That’s not a bad question at all! I’m a Type 1 diabetic and that is my Dexcom CGM (continuous glucose monitor). It reads my blood glucose and sends it to my insulin pump, which is the other “plug in” you might see in my photos sometimes. I often wear these on the back of my arms or stomach area. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for reading the review!
