I really hope October’s box is better! I skipped September as it is so underwhelming! I loved the August box! I so agree with everyone about the jade rollers, I have had 4 so far and given them away except 1 that I kept for myself, they have had their day already! The same with Manna Kadar, it’s in every sub box, while I love it, I could now open my own Manna Kadar shop! Sub boxes need a refresh on brands an items, it’s getting too repetitive and boring! Especially if you sub to more than 1! I really enjoy this box overall! I like that it’s not themed and kind of random, so you get a funny mix of items! I enjoy that I don’t get all makeup and beauty products, I sub to specific boxes for that! This is a fun box and I enjoy getting the treat in it, but I’m over the jewelry every month, they need to stop with it for awhile and just put it in occasionally! I enjoy when we get a book, a journal would be great! I loved the socks and spongelle from the August box and would have no issues with those in another box, with a different scent and pattern of course! People have been complaining about the jewelry for awhile now, so I really think they need to listen to that! The value of this box has never been great, but it never bothered me because the box was different than the other sub boxes out there and I thoroughly enjoyed getting it, so to me it was still worth the cost! But it’s getting lackluster lately and they really need to start jazzing it up, because I really want to stay with this box but if they’re going to keep offering overpriced jewelry that I never wear and am constantly giving away, and other items that are repeats from other sub boxes and I’m constantly skipping months than there really isn’t any point of keeping my subscription! This is one of my favorite boxes, or was, and I would like it to still be a favorite! So Singleswag, if you read these comments, please, please listen to your subscribers and give them what they want, or rather stop giving them what they don’t want, so we can love you again!❤

I ordered this for a friend and I’m so embarrassed that she received this box of junk. I regret not waiting to see what was in it before ordering it. I thought that there would be a book or something “self improvement” related but this is just cheap junk that she could have picked while checking out at a TJ Maxx.
Worst gift I’ve ever given anyone. Lesson learned on these boxes, even if the past ones look good; never again. It’s too much of a crap shoot.

Tomorrow

This will make the 3rd jade roller that I’ve received in sub boxes, in the past year. I will probably just sell it because I have one. And, the Pirouline Creme Filled Wafers are found in like every store…but I’m sure my kids will eat them. Really looking forward to everything else in the box!

I got that charcoal sponge from Birchbox and really like it.

Jade rollers have definitely been overdone and is another item that you can easily pick up at TJ Maxx.

The lipstick looks elegant, and I wouldn’t scoff at the body butter, either, even if it is Manna Kadar.

Well, the September box is an easy pass for me. It is in reality just a pile of all low-end stuff – I don’t put too much weight on the “retail value”, quality matters more. The curating team fell asleep at the wheel with this one. I recently bought a jade roller at TJ Maxx for about $7, so no need for another. Headband is really nice, but that necklace is an insult to us (anyone who would pay $75 for that junky looking thing is seriously being taken advantage of), and all the other fillers seem like an afterthought they scrambled to throw together. I really like SinglesSwag, so I sure hope their October’s box is better than this underwhelming selection!

Yup, just last night I saw a box of the Mr.Brownie brownies at the Dollar Tree. We got the exact same brownie in our July box.
I am really, really excited about the headband in this month’s box, and possibly the lipstick if it’s a decent shade.

I will subscribe again when they stop saying their jewelry is worth $75+ dollars.

The only decent thing in this box is the Headbands of Hope headband. And I swear to G, I bought a tin of those wafers at the Dollar Store a month ago…no lie.

Hope

I have a tin of those in my pantry from the Dollar Tree too. This is the second time, from what I’ve seen, they’ve put a snack in from there. I’ve been getting this for months, and I am really disappointed by the September box. This is not an inexpensive box, and they can so better.

You can get the box for 40% off a longer subscription. I have a 6 month with 40 off bringing my box to 23 a month which makes the items so much better than if they were in a 40 dollar box.

Lol! I usually roll my eyes when people say, “I got such and such at TJ Maxx” or “Marshalls”, but yeah, I totally believe you when you say you got those wafers at the dollar store. You can find them for a couple of bucks in any store in the country that sales groceries. And agree with you about Headbands of Hope. I got one from a previous Singles box and it’s probably the best headband I ever owned. That company actually has a subscription of their own I’ve been thinking about signing up for for a while. Would love to see MSA review it.

*Sells groceries. Ugh – these message boards are in dire need of an edit button 🙂

Julia

The jade roller needs to exit sub boxes already.

Kimberly

Yes! Every sub box has had them now. Theu are so over played. This will be my 3rd one. I’ve tried it several times and I still don’t really get it’s purpose. Does make me feel bougie though!

Ditto with EVERY item Manna Kadar has ever made as well

Absolutely!

That’s such a great idea of what to do with all the overflow!

I’m donating a gift basket of products for a NOWZAD animal rescue raffle so while I’m not excited about anything in here I think the jade roller and a few things from this box and a few things from my other boxes should make someone that doesn’t have a subscription addiction pretty happy to win.

Fantastic! At least they can be useful to someone who may not otherwise have these items, I save alot of my unused items, samples ect. And make goody bags to bring with me on our vacations to Cuba, Jamaica and Dominica Republic for the maids etc. They appreciate it so much, and I enjoy giving them nice things to pamper themselves! But after awhile when you are gifting more than you are using yourself ,it’s time to sit back and think whether it’s worth continuing that sub or not! I have so many items that I have doubles or triples of it’s just crazy!

Molly

Yes, it will. And, that’s a really good idea.
