PinkSeoul Mask July 2019 Review
Prior to purchasing a subscription, PinkSeoul will ask you several customization questions. Some products are more appropriate/recommended for a particular skin type so be sure to figure out what your skin type is!
Here is the info sheet for this month’s box.
Eyenlip Baby Foot Peeling Mask - Retail Value $6
I love foot masks like these! I never get much peeling action, but with consistent use, I have definitely noticed that my feet have become more soft and smooth. I'm still on the hunt for the foot mask that will really make the dead skin peel off, but I'll use these in the meantime to help keep my feet soft.
Eyenlip Calamansi Vita Solution Mask - Retail Value $6
Guys, this sheet mask is BRIGHT yellow and I absolutely loved it. The novelty aside, my skin soaked up all of the essence from this mask and it looked brighter and felt more hydrated when I was done wearing it. I'm a fan!
A'Pieu Blackhead Peeling Pad - Retail Value $4
This is a small pack filled with 5 double-sided pads to exfoliate your nose! The packaging of the monster exfoliating his nose is pretty cute, and I used this before following up with one of the moisture essence masks and my skin looked clear and bright.
Eyenlip Moisture Essence Mask in Snail - Retail Value $2
Eyenlip Moisture Essence Mask in Charcoal - Retail Value $2
Eyenlip Moisture Essence Mask in Green Tea - Retail Value $2
Do I love this colorful floral packaging? You know it, but I also was impressed with the performance of these for the relatively low cost. Though each of them has a different star ingredient, all of them were nourishing to my skin, fit my face well, and didn't leave a sticky residue when I was done wearing them.
Eyenlip Mask Pack in Cica Calming Sleeping - Retail Value $4
Eyenlip Mask Pack in Gold Peel Off - Retail Value $4
Eyenlip Mask Pack in Black Peel Off - Retail Value $4
Eyenlip Mask Pack in Volcanic Clear Wash Off - Retail Value $4
I try to avoid using peel-off masks because they can actually make your pores bigger over time, and the cica sleeping mask has coconut oil near the top of the ingredients list so I knew using it would more likely than not result in breakouts. The volcanic ash mask, though, impressed me. It has a thick and creamy texture that spreads across the skin easily, and it doesn't completely dry out when you wear it. After washing it off, my skin felt purified but still nourished and looked brighter, which is usually not the case with clay masks.
TONYMOLY Fresh To Go Mask in Tomato - Retail Value $4
The ingredients on these Fresh to Go masks are never impressive, but consistently my skin loves them regardless?? I don't fully understand, but the glow doesn't lie, y'all. This also fit my face well and was a good pick-me-up after stepping out of the shower.
Duft & Doft Nourishing Lip Cream in Stockholm Rose - Retail Value $15
This lip cream is made with both beeswax and vitamin E to nourish dry lips, and the shade Stockholm Rose adds a light wash of berry color to my lips. I would never pay retail value for this, but it's a decent bonus item in this box.
The Verdict: PinkSeoul is a mask subscription I have realized that I can constantly rely on to provide a good assortment of sheet masks with a variety of textures and ingredients. This box is on the pricier end for sheet masks, but the value is consistently about $20 (or more) above the cost of the box, and I almost always find a new mask I love every month. I calculated a total value of $57 for the items in this month’s box, which I think is fair.
