The Beauty Report Box is a limited edition box from NewBeauty that is usually released once a quarter. It features some of the favorite brands included in the summer issue of Beauty Report, and all of the products have won an award of some kind. If you aren’t familiar, The Beauty Report is a part of the NewBeauty Test Tube brand, which MSA readers voted one of the Best Beauty Subscription Boxes of 2019! (This is a single-purchase box and will not start a subscription.)
FYI - this is a review of the Fast Fixes box, which is still available for purchase!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

NewBeauty Awards "Fast Fixes" Box Review
Here is the info sheet for the products included.
amika Reset Pink Charcoal Scalp Cleansing Oil, 6.7 fl oz — Full Size! Retail Value $25
I love amika, so I am always stoked to find full-size products from the brand in subscription boxes. This cleansing oil is designed to remove product buildup without stripping your scalp, and key ingredients include pink clay and charcoal. I was impressed that this didn't dry out my scalp the way many scalp purifiers do, and I feel like as a whole my hair was a bit softer after using this a few times. Plus, the tip of this makes it easy to apply to targeted areas on your scalp.
Eau Thermale Avène Thermal Spring Water, 5 fl oz — Retail Value $14
A mini version of this came in a recent Allure box, and I am happy to have the bigger size! This is a hydrating facial mist that is designed to soothe irritated or stressed skin, and I have definitely become the person who carries facial mists in their purses for mid-day pick me ups.
Eucerin Roughness Relief Spot Treatment, 2.5 oz — Retail Value $6.49
When I am stressed, my arms itch. Or, even if they don't itch, I scratch them anyway. Thanks to a lovely thing called the Bar Exam, there has been a lot of stress in my life lately, and as such lots of arm scratching. Now that the internet knows all about my scratching tendencies when I am stressed, this spot treatment is perfect. I only need a tiny bit to cover my elbows and the back of my forearms, and this performed double duty at both soothing dry skin and soothing a scratch or two.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream, 1.5 fl oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $30
This is one of the products I was most excited about trying- it is decently a new releasee from First Aid Beauty, and it has a really fun whipped texture that resembles a cloud! This has ingredients like glycerin, colloidal oatmeal, licorice root extract, and hyaluronic acid, and I have enjoyed using this as my evening moisturizer.
Hello Naturally Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste, 4.7 oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $4.99
I have multiple full-sized tubes of Hello toothpaste thanks to NewBeauty, but I don't mind- I never considered myself the type to have a favorite toothpaste brand, but here we are. This has fluoride, tea tree oil, and coconut oil, and the mint flavor isn't overly aggressive.
Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, 3.2 oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $20
I have tried this dry shampoo before, and I like it. It doesn't leave white residue on my dark hair, and I also like that it doesn't leave my hair feeling too dry after using.
Knours Double Duty Mist, 1 oz — Retail Value $8
This mist is pretty neat- it has an oil layer and a water layer, and depending on what your skin concerns are you can either shake it to mix the two layers or spray it on without shaking. The bottom layer is designed to help balance skin, while the top layer adds an extra boost of moisture.
Korres White Blossom Body Butter 7.95 fl oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $32
This is a really lovely body butter- it is deeply nourishing without leaving my skin feeling greasy, and the light floral scent is pleasant and layers well with whatever perfume I choose to wear that day.
LUMIFY® Redness Reliever Eye Drops, 0.08 fl oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $11.99
I don't get red eyes very often, and if you do I suggest talking to your ophthalmologist- sometimes using redness relief eye drops like these can mask potentially serious eye problems. That being said, I do get dry eyes frequently, and I have appreciated having these on hand to add a boost of hydration. They worked well when I was wearing my contacts, too.
Mario Badescu Lip Balm, 0.35 oz —Full-Size! Retail Value $8
I actually didn't know that Mario Badescu made lip balms before receiving one in this box. This has coconut oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter, and it was rich and nourishing to my dry lips (don't forget to drink your water, folks!).
Nuria Hydrate Moisturizing Toner, 6.1 fl oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $24
Nuria is a brand that has been popping up recently, and I really like this hydrating toner. It has mallow root, rose oil, and chamomile to soothe and nourish, and it is alcohol-free! Other ingredients include aloe and hyaluronic acid, and this made for a great hydrating step in my skincare routine.
Pacifica Pollution Fight Blue Algae Urban Defense Facial Mask — Retail Value $4
Pacifica has such pretty packaging, and I would love to see more skincare products from them pop up in subscription boxes. This has great ingredients like kelp, blue algae, and chlorella, my skin felt great after using it and I felt like I had a glow. My only complaint is that this mask was a bit narrow and didn't reach to my jawline completely, but the eye holes were in the shape of hearts!
St Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Mousse, 6.7 fl oz — Full-Size! Retail Value $42
Even though I am very, very pale, I have never gotten in the habit of self-tanning. I have tried minis of this mousse before, and I thought that texture made it easier to apply. I also have a good friend who has tried this product out, she self-tans regularly and is a fan of this.
The Verdict: I have been looking forward to the Beauty Awards box ever since last year's, and while I was a little bummed that they chose to offer two boxes rather than one mega box, overall I am still pretty pleased with both the value and the items included. Including brands like Nuria, amika, and First Aid Beauty really won me over, and none of the products felt like misses to me- they will all be used or given to very appreciative friends. I calculated a total value of $230.47, which is more than quadruple the cost of the box, and is only a few cents short of the promised value.
