There are different rewards points available now. One of which I redeemed 600 points for back on 06/01/2019 and it is the same exact item, size and weight but now, it’s 1200 points! After ALL of the gripping and complaining on social media and to Ipsy about, WHAH!!! I have SO many points that are expiring because Ipsy doesn’t have what I want!!!! 😢 🙄 Well… I hope all the cry babies are happy now! We used to be able to get things for 100, 200 , 300 & at the worst, 500 points. Then all the whining and crying started! Now look how many points items are?! Not fun anymore! With Ipsy expanding and raising prices, this “PERK” really isn’t a perk anymore. So many of these items are simply given to Ipsy and other subs for promotional purposes. Ipsy is getting pretty greedy with their rewards points items! Maybe if everybody starts whining, crying and complaining about it, maybe they will lower the points? Idk… 🤷‍♀️ Seems to me that’s how people get their way these days…
I’m still going to stay subscribed, but I definitely won’t be spending the money on Ipsy offers anymore unless it’s something like the good old days and add ons? Ya, they are great, but, only if you get to them fast enough and if they actually put it in your bag.
Fix the rewards points Ipsy!

Looks like I have a few new point rewards… the Estate eye shadows (red and orange), Half Caked lip fondant, Realher lipstick, Caked Beauty hand cream (1200), and Eva NYC leave in hair cream (1200).

Nothing I have to have. Curious to see if the full sized items previously available are truly gone, or if they’ll end up in in unboxing reports.

I have yet to be able to purchase something with points and actually get it. 3 times now..I finally complained this last time and they sent it out.

I’ve noticed that the 600 and 1200 points per item aren’t flying off the shelves. They need to go back to having some decent ones for 300 again. Not everybody has more than one account to review and most of us don’t have the extra time to go spamming our links all over every social media page out there. I no longer even read comments on Ipsy posts because that’s what most of them are. I am happy for Ipsy in their endeavors. But, this free perk of theirs is unique and it used to be fun. I miss the good times with rewards points items and I’ve only been with Ipsy for 3 1/2 years. I hope all the people that spent months on end complaining about “never having enough items”,”Nothing I want to spend my thousands of points on”,” I have points expiring because Ipsy doesn’t have enough of what I want”, blah blah blah… I never had an issue finding something to redeem points for when they were 100,200,300 & some 500. Maybe we should all start complaining about it again??? Idk… seems to me like whining and complaining is how people get companies to listen these days. 🤷‍♀️

I still haven’t received any of my add-ons from last month. They sent me a notice saying they were going to be ship it to me having seen it yet. However, they did manage to send me the item that I bought which was not an extra. Just wondering if this is even worth it anymore

Ipsy Point rewards are garbage and have been for months they used to have so many options in such a range of point Redemption points this is ridiculous and sad

I’ve placed points orders twice now over the past two months or so and both times they were canceled without any communication from Ipsy. All the items are STILL available to this day, so it makes no sense at all. I tried emailing them the first time but they did their usual thing where they scan for key words then send a generic response that only slightly, and definitely not completely, addresses the issue. It’s extremely frustrating to basically be unable to spend my points and never understand why I can place the order, receive the confirmation then never receive the items or any explanation. I only know it happens when suddenly all my points are back in my account. It’s ridiculous and honestly quite rude to cancel an order they previously approved not only without explanation, but without letting me know it’s even happened. And then when I teach out to ask for an explanation I just get told “yes I see your order was canceled. Sorry about that. Feel free to use those points to place another order.” So I do that, and the same thing happens. I thought Boxycharm’s CS was bad but Ipsy’s has gotten so much worse. Sure they respond, and usually in a timely manor, but they don’t ever actually read your whole message and fully address the issue. Honestly I don’t think humans are responding at all. I think it’s just a computer program. I’ve even asked for supervisors on several occasions and still not had my problem fully acknowledged or resolved. If they didn’t have such phenomenal deals on their subs and shopper deals I would never have continued to do business with them.

Dani… I have experienced the same thing many times over, I thought it was only me that was going through that situation finally theuvstarted sending my items in the past 2 months… I was sent an email to pick an item and then was told that im unable to pick an item… I’m not sure if I want to skip this month so I may just wait until October to get the chance to pick something… it’s so weird..

I have 575 points 🙁 … Points used to be doable.

Who would swap 1,200 points for a mascara or a lip scrub? Sheesh.

I got the R & C high dive. It’s actually full size and listed as the 5oz one so for 1200 points it’s worth it. It’s just a happy bonus every 7 months or so for a sample or one full size a year… more if you’re an addict and have multiple subs like me.

I wish they would stick with 600 points or below. I’ve been with Ipsy for about 3 1/2 years. I used to be able to get several items per year. Now it two.
