  1. There’s another spoiler email out just this evening, but it’s still not making me want to take the plunge. (Lollia -Rose scented shower gel, if anyone cares to know.)

  2. Doesn’t this box ship in September? Has anyone seen anymore spoilers?

    • Only one spoiler so far. It seems like they take forever to show spoilers!! This first one is not so great either.

  3. I love the Margot Elena boxes. I think they are beautifully curated and the packaging is dreamy. The body gels are a fav of mine. I have subscribed to many different other vendor boxes…this is by far my favorite and I am a customer for life.

  4. Well this mask is not very exciting for me. I am hoping for some more spoilers sooooon! 🤞 I hope this is going to be a beautiful box!

  6. Been subscribed to this box since the beginning almost and I didn’t use the clay mask in the last box. I am not thrilled about this at all. I was hoping she would go all out for fall since last years was a disaster with summer themed items. Cmon. Let’s have fun with a cloche candle, some Tokyo milk black items and just plain fall related items!

    • I actually liked the Fall box last year. Shrug.

    • Fall ’18 was my favorite Margot Elena box ever. I would never want to curate a sub box–impossible to match everyone’s tastes.

    • Those cloche candles are like $60, wouldn’t even fit in their box, and we’d only get like 4 more items after that. it’s a ‘Discovery Box’. Common sense.. Margot I’ll go pay for that kind of a candle if I want one, don’t worry

  7. I love my Margot Elena Boxes, but I am not thrilled about the mud masque thingy. I am hoping for some Tokyo Milk fragrance
    in this one, love her fragrances!

  8. I had to take a break too, because I am overloaded on product both for myself and gifts, but I will be back. love this subscription and it is only my current resemblance to a hoarder that is stopping me.

    • Ditto. They’re box is so great but I need to reign it in. I have shelves and shelves of backup products!

      That being said, if they run an amazing Black Friday deal, I’ll probably jump back in. I’ll just have to clear another shelf somewhere to store it all!

  9. As per ME “Full Size products refer to items larger than sample size.” That’s not how it works… and based off that I’m guessing a lot more “full size” minis are going to be appearing in boxes.

    • They update to their page today to reflect this today. I’ll assume they’re paying attention to comments.

      • Pretty sure that’s what it said when I subscribed in May.

        • I remember that wording from awhile ago when I subscribed, too.

    • @Cindy I do read the terms and conditions and don’t remember this being part of it and if it was then they outright lied because “*Full Size products refer to items larger than sample size. Subscription Box items are always part of Margot Elena’s full collection of retail products.”

      Subscription box items are definitely not part of the full collection because that peacock robe, cup, turkish towel, and scarf never were. Granted the scarf and towel were great quality I can’t imagine ME selling that robe for anywhere near the RV they listed so the addition to those terms has to be either new or if it was there before it would have been a blatant lie.

        Exactly read it… if you claim everything is in the catalog in bold red print then there shouldn’t be any exclusive items. If there are exclusive items then that line makes no sense. Not a conspiracy just said that line wasnt there when I subscribed and you claimed it was so I brought up why I believe it wasnt.

    • You already know there’s going to be something in there you’ll have major FOMO on if you don’t
      especially an exclusive item
      I lost out on Margot’s handdrawn art once from Spring – not missing anything again

  11. I emailed yesterday cancel. No response yet, but it was close to end of business day. I really dislike when sub boxes require an email instead of having account management on the site for cancelling. I’ll make a note and this might impact when considering resubbing, which I’m prone to often do. I like to mix up the boxes I’m getting from time to time.

    • If you log in and click on “Manage Subscriptions” you can cancel right there online. I did not send any emails.

      • I do not see that option when I go to “Manage Subscriptions. Instead it has this, “To cancel email [email protected]

      • Customer Service said you need to cancel with them
        they sent those emails too

    • I came here looking for this, I emailed this morning to cancel and also have not gotten a response yet. In the past when I emailed them about an address change they got back to me very quickly.

      I usually refuse to sign up for boxes that can’t be cancelled simply on the website but made an exception for Margot Elena.

      FYI for anyone else considering cancelling, in the membership terms the cancellation policy states “Cancellations must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the recharge date.” Which means you need to cancel by 8/11 (a Sunday) so I would probably be sure you’ve done it by the prior Friday 8/9 at the latest.

      • I don’t have the manage subscription option either, it directs me to email and no response 24 plus hours later. Thanks for pointing out the deadline. I hate having something else to remember!

      • I did get a cancellation email, it went to my spam folder, but it was within 24 hours. I don’t dislike the box, I’m just on overload with these type products.

  12. As much as I love this box, I think it’s time to cancel for now. I have several partially used and some fully unopened boxes. They’re beautiful, but there’s no way I can get through all the product and even though I do use for gifts, there’s only so many tubes of fancy hand cream you can give to the same people. I think I’ll sit it out for a few seasons and jump back in at some point.

  13. If you don’t like strong fragrances or bar soap you probably shouldn’t subscribe to this box. Just saying.

I find it kinda funny that some people are complaining about this box having too much soap,too much perfume,strong fragrance etc. Saying things like you don’t use bubble bath or you don’t use perfume. Like you are aware that this company is known for their fragrances and bath products right? I think some people subscribe to every box that comes out just to get a box which is fine but at least know what you’re getting. Same thing with people who subscribe to Ipsy then cry about too much makeup.

    • Exactly, Margot Elena is first and foremost a “Perfumery” I expect all of their products to be heavily perfumed, except for maybe the cottage greenhouse line.

  15. I absolutely LOVE this!! A good mud mask is amazing for oily/combo skin..And 100% Natural!! YES!! People have been begging for Margot Elena to provide not only the beautiful packaging she is known for, but also safe, clean ingredients…And it looks like she may have answered the call!! I for one, am very happy to see a company at least try to listen to their customers!! <3 <3

  16. I guess I’m in the minority but I love this spoiler. I loved the last mask like this so I am looking forward to using this one. For me Margo Elena is always perfect. I guess I’m just very easy to please. A bar of fancy soap, hand cream and fancy stationary and I’m a happy gal!

    • I am always wanting masks (not sheet ones) and this spoiler is exactly what I need! I loved that mask in a jar from Spring. So you are not alone!

    • I like this too! Wish it was bigger but hopefully some full size products in this box.

There are no cancellation fees. Cancellations must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the recharge date. Seasonal recharge dates are March 1st, June 1st, September 1st and December 1st. Annual Membership recharge dates are exactly 1 year from when you signed up.

  18. I am looking forward to trying this product. I have a lot of toners and oils from beauty subs, and mixing them with powder masks is a great way to use them up.

    • Does that work? I usually don’t use toner in the summer months and this sounds like an excellent way to re-purpose it than trying to force gift it onto others.

      • It does! Plus it adds a little “boost” to your mask with the ingredients from the toners, essences, and/or oils you can add. 🙂 You can even add honey to dry masks too to add moisture… plus it helps to prevent the mask from drying down too!

  19. While I am not thrilled with this particular spoiler, I love this box dearly. Every item is beautiful. I agree about bar soaps – I only use it once a week with my Daily Concepts body scrubber. Most of the soaps and shower gels are gifted, which is nice, because I don’t have to spend extra money on attractive presents. I can’t wait for this box to arrive!

  20. Wow this not a good spoiler at all plus price hike plus shipping sounds like it’s time to cancel.

    • Where is the info about the price hike?

      • I can’t find it either. Looked on their website and it appears to be the same. ??

      • I am gonna guess that she is referring to them doing away with annual memberships, which made the boxes a little cheaper. Only seasonal now (from what I gathered from other comments)

  21. I have 7 unused Margot Elena sub boxes stacked in the corner of a rarely used guest suite upstairs.
    I think I don’t need this at all after looking at the tall stack.

    I love the scents usually, but I don’t use their products because my skin needs more moisture. Also, I’ve not used bar soap in decades, and almost every box is heavy with bar soap.

      • Yes, I have 2 Spring 2019 and 1 Summer 2019 box.
        2 Winter 2018 and 2 Fall 2018 boxes. Never used. I did check to see if anything had spilled or broken. A perfume roll on was broken inside its own box but didn’t spill on the other products. It has been replaced by Margot Elena.
        Will either sell each of them here or on eBay because I’m not at all sure how to sell anything here. But, I also NEVER sell things on eBay ( or elsewhere)…

        Note- I have duplicates because they double charged me for 2 that I didn’t notice, and two Winter 2018 boxes because I thought it would be ” super special”– and those turquoise bells are the tackiest things in the WORLD. However, I know some of you love anything Margot.

        The bloom was off the rose by the second mixed up double charge, let me tell you. If anyone cancels, please make sure you aren’t charged again ” by mistake”. Also, keep all emails and do not talk to them about cancellations over the phone. They will ask for documentation, so get it all in email. The CS ladies, while very sweet, REALLY like to talk with customers over the phone, so be aware and use email for anything that’s really important. I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t feel it was in their best interest and in the customer’s best interest as well. 😉

  22. I’m planning on cancelling this sub based on the next few spoilers. I enjoy receiving this box and unwrapping all the goodies, but I really don’t even care for peacocks – the main design, and only use, maybe 2 things from each box. It is all good quality stuff, though.

  23. You should really add in the “Flat shipping rate of $6.95 per box” so they’re $56.85 and tax. The shipping raises the cost by ten percent not to mention the tax for NY that made me cut down my boxes and FFF add ons.

    • Plus they list it all as full size and there were plenty of items in the four boxes J received that aren’t full size.

      • Including this from what I can tell. The one they sell is in a clear container with a spoon thing a d appears bigger.

  24. How long do we have to cancel? If we don’t get a better item spoiler from the box, I’m out.

    • I find that concerning. Sounds like somethings up. Either they plan to do away with the box, company is in trouble, or they plan to raise the price soon. Curious.

      • Since the next box will be the holiday season box, and traditionally, most other sub boxes have a BF/ Cyber Monday annual subscription ” deal”, I choose the latter guess as what they’re going to do.
        Charge more, offer silly items like pencil cases, water bottles, and that awful peacock shiny bright huge jacket with gaudy images.
        Not their more desirable beauty/ bath/ skin care items which they actually do produce in-house.

    • I think it’s five weeks b4 it ships, but nt sure. They may have changed it.

  25. Womp womp. I canceled my sub after finishing up my annual. At first I was excited about this box but after a year plus I’ve realized most items are drying and overly scented. I’m over it.

  28. I feel like their SRVs are really inflated on this sub. Not sure if I am going to cancel before September.

    • I don’t see a SRP on this item, do you?
      It’s likely one of the less pricey items in the box, if this box’s contents follow other months, IMO.

      I would have liked to see a more luxe product, not a DIY item I throw away.

      • No, I don’t see it for this item, but I just mean more generally. That pencil sleeve from the summer box was valued at $20… doubt it.

  29. I just received an e-mail that said they are no longer offering annual subscriptions. I am really disappointed. Seasonal boxes are still available, but the price goes up quite a bit. Sad 😢

    • I love this sub, and while it’s not a hero item I do love a lot of powdered masks. There really hasn’t been anythiing from their boxes that I don’t love. Curious though what the new price point is? I had cancelled after summer box (just to not not automatically renew just in case), so I am prepaid for Fall and did not get that email.

      • I think the price hike is more for those that are on an annual plan, but will no longer be able to take advantage of the discounted price through the prepaid plan. I received the same email maybe a week ago, and I don’t recall reading anything about the price of their seasonal boxes going up.

        • I got the email letting me know that when my annual subscription was up, they would no longer be offering annuals. They did offer $20 off a shop purchase to help make up for the loss of annual discount go forward. I called and spoke with customer service. It sounds like they had many people cancelling out of annual subscriptions, which they had a difficult time dealing with I guess, so they have decided to eliminate the annual option. On that day, you could still see the annual option online, which I pointed out to customer service. The annual option was down soon after I called. What I found disappointing was the email said “We have some exciting changes to share. We are now making our subscription services even easier!”. Well, I don’t think it made it easier for me or more exciting – just more expensive.

          • They should’ve prorated the seasonal cost for loyal annual members, imo

    • Maybe they are just tired of listening to constant crying from entitled snooty subscribers.

    • I’m an annual subscriber, and didn’t get any emails about annual sub ending. I have 3 boxes left on my annual sub, but would like to know what I need to do once annual is up. Do they automatically switch you to seasonal? Or is it cancelled? I hope MSA does a post about this change for those of us who should have received an email but didn’t. I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t read the comments. I’ll call customer service, but others may not be aware.

      • I agree, I never received an email and have an annual subscription.

  30. This is disappointing. I don’t like these powdered clay mud masks. They get over everything and dry out my skin. Hope the next spoiler is better as this will be going up for swap!

    • I don’t like any powder format product that I have to mix up. It seems like a huge shortcut by the companies to me. Plus, I never get mine the right consistency and without lumps.

    • same idea different mask name. I believe that was 2 one time use masks but same envelope design and clay powdered mask.
