FabFitFun Fall 2019 Box Selection Time for All Subscribers!

I’ve canceled my subscription. There was literally nothing I wanted in the box except the teeth whitening system I was getting for my daughter and then they canceled that. Go choose another item they said. Well the rest were what I rejected in the first place. So I chose the mystery item, probably something I didn’t want previously! Very disappointed.

Is their target audience teenagers and college girls? More useless crap. Quality is quickly fading. The last few boxes have been a letdown. I’m going to cancel soon. I’m hoping because of the tooth whitening let down maybe they’ll add another item that is great because I’m not the least bit excited as it stands.

I have not received the hot brush I ordered in the summer edit sale. The leave in conditioner arrived, but I have received zero updates in the hot brush. Very annoying.

SO sad to leave, but I can’t justify buying this box. I’ve been an annual since 2017 and Fall was my first box, so great and thoughtfully curated!! This stuff just seems like a trip to TJ Maxx (which I love, but.. you know.. not for a quarterly sub box). Summer was the last of my annual and was about to renew, but just can’t do it. Sad to go, but FFF needs to step it up! Really wanted the teeth whitening kit but what a bummer that they took it off!

can I cancel my fall box but still get the add ons i chose?

Me too just skipped this box and will cancel it once my last box (winter) shipped. Tired of getting all the craps – majority of the brands they partner with are unknown and suspicious. Even Marshall or stuff will not carry them. Don’t be fooled by the retail values – you will never spend a penny on most of the stuff if you were shopping in store. Read the reviews of the vitamin c powder, toner, yoga mat, etc. Oh btw, it took forever for them to ship things to you also. Many people are still waiting for their summer box. Very frustrated.

Just a little bit of advice.. don’t get any product that may expire. Still waiting on 3 boxes from the Summer edit sale and while they were so prompt to take my $300 it will be a minimum of 5-6 WEEKS before maybe getting something. Don’t know what I am going to do with all that sunscreen in Wisconsin in September.

I cancelled right before the Spring box and yesterday a Summer box and a huge box of add ons came to me. I wasn’t billed and when I cancelled I changed the card to a prepaid card with a few bucks on it so I didn’t have to worry about my card being on their site. So I guess I got a free Summer box and add ons/edit sale items. Fabfitfun chat told me oh weird but keep it. Ummmm ok then. If anyone is missing anything they might have been sent to the wrong person.

I’m excited about this box. Seriously, all these negative comments are just so over the top. What exactly are you expecting?

I’m usually more pleased than not with FFF but canceled my annual sub after seeing the selections for the Autumn box. They just seem, well, junky. Suppose the hair iron may be decent but, as with most haircare items in all sub boxes, it’s useless for someone with ultra short hair. About the only item I’m looking forward to are the earrings. Sort of sad about unsubbing but tired to accumulating what is fast becoming just useless clutter.

I cancelled the remaining three boxes for my annual and the edit sale items that still hadn’t shipped. I hope after having to refund so many people ($378 just to me) they really think about this. I had been an annual member since 2017 and I spend a lot on the sales. Well, I used to. It’s been nothing but issues and the products continue to go downhill in quality and value. This had been my favorite sub box for a long time and I’ve tried a lot. Really a shame. I hope they start caring more about their subscribers and less about the super extra lame b and c list celebrities they pay way too much attention to for useless, meaningless plugs. I could care less if these half rate outta work wannabes like FFF. They need to get back to what made them popular in the first place AMAZING BOXES

I think FFF needs to go to the drawing board with curation. That’s what the other lifestyle boxes do way better. A lot of us are desensitized to the markdowns and on product overload. And they really need to streamline the edit sales and improve shipping times so they won’t continue to lose customers. My favorite ever box is Sunday Riley, it’s twice as expensive and I pay it happily because the curation is fantastic- they also ship within a couple days. My two cents.

Is that the box style? It is absolutely hideous.

Guess I’m one of the few that like the options! I was happy with at least one option from each set. Also, my edit sale purchases were delivered a little over a week ago; my friend’s were just shipped today.

No way that scarf is the RV it’s listed as. Seriously, that’s ridiculous.

And done. Just cancelled my annual sub. Zero joy with this box.

I’ve been a member since the beginning and there were some add ins I wanted but had to cancel especially after the teeth whitening thing it was literally the only thing that interested me about any of the spoilers….so sad to let it go but I’m in the process of a clean out and there just isn’t anything I want to take back In

I was just going through my customization and had to cancel. There was literally nothing I even remotely excited about, and that has never happened before.

I love FFF, loved every box so far!
but they really need to improve their shipping department and the tech department…
I am still waiting for my mystery bundle 45 days after I ordered…
And for this fall box, I was so excited about the teeth whitening system…
it’s removed 🙁
I’m not sure anymore if I want to stay subscribed with FFF.

Anybody know the size of the cheeseboard? It looks really cute and Im considering getting the box if the board is a decent size. TIA.

Cancelled my annual subscription as there are wayyy to many issues. I just now received my alert that my summer edit sale items finally shipped. And what really made me mad it the price changes without any notification. 15.00 for each additional items added to your box is too much, and the product has gotten so bad, what happened with FFF? I hope they change back to what was a great subscription, but until then I will be trying other subs.

If only I could upload pics to the comments section I would show you all that you can get these items at Marshall’s. Oh and I stopped by the dreaded Walmart yesterday and they had a pink turban hair towel for $3.98.

This box is not my favorite. I am debating about skipping it and getting the $45 credit. It’s my second year as an FFF member. Here are my thoughts on the customization options.

Customization 1:
* Plush Ultra Soft Plaid Scarf – this scarf is navy blue but it looks black in the photos and videos. If I had to pick an option it would be this one.
* Anthropologie Travel Yoga Mat – This looks super thin and I would want a thicker mat.
* Amika Strand Perfect Ceramic Styler – As a curly girl, I would burn my hair at 400 degrees. I only use cool tools because I can straighten my hair at 200 degrees and this is the only straighter I use. I have fine 3B curly hair so I can burn hair easily.
* Mystery Item – Most people are normally not happy with the mystery item. It could be makeup in the wrong shade or skincare that’s not for sensitive skin. I’m not taking the chance.
Customization 2:
* kate spade new york Lunch Tote – this can double up as a makeup bag
* NassifMD™ Detox Pads – This product was rated well however, I saw some bad reviews on this and it might dry out your skin. I have sensitive skin, so I’m not taking that chance.
* Kut From the Kloth Slim Striped Wallet – I saw some comments on subscription box websites that the pattern is not straight. I wish they had put some gold detailing on this design. That would make for a fun DIY project.
* Twine Cheese Board with Plate – There are no ratings online for this product. I don’t know that I will use this. I don’t throw enough dinner parties and I’m on WW so I don’t eat cheese because I’m trying to reduce fat.
Customization 3:
* Baublebar Farah Ear Crawlers – These look nice but I hope they are nickle free or else my ears will itch.
* The Better Skin Co. Lava Magik – This is a grainy product. My dermatologist doesn’t recommend any products with beads or sand if you have acne which I do. It’s too rough on the skin.
* Cosmedix Pure C – I saw low ratings on this product. There aren’t very many reviews for this one. I also don’t think I’ll go the extra step to mix this into my skincare products.
Customization 4:
* trèStiQue Min Eye Essentials – Set of 4 – these are not vegan products but I like the concept of the easy makeup
* Skinvolve Body Boost Gel – this is a vegan product and it has good ratings
* Eparé Dual Salt and Pepper Mill – I read some reviews that this can get jammed up. You’re better off getting a battery powered automated grinder.
* Afterspa Hair Towel Wrap – As a curly girl, this will only make my hair frizz. I only air dry or diffuse. If I had straight hair or I straightened my hair often then this would be useful.
Customization 5:
* Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask 6 Pack – these are vegan products and they are rated well.
* Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Roller Ball – There are a couple of good reviews for this. I just don’t know that I’ll remember to use this. I think if I was super into Yoga/meditation or I was looking for a natural alternative to perfume, this would be a good option.
* Skin&Co Roma Truffle Therapy Face Toner – I saw some reviews that this could dry out your skin. I have sensitive and combo skin so I don’t want to get dryer skin on certain areas of my face. In general this company makes more natural products so I like the company, but I don’t use toners.
