Dia & Co Subscription Box Review – July 2019
Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!
The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co July 2019 Review
Here is that adorable Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month!
Also enclosed is this thoughtful message from my month’s stylist, Katherine! She gives great styling tips on how to wear each piece and even suggests I pair the precious heart-shaped beaded bag with the Betsey Johnson dress I reviewed in June’s Dia & Co box!
The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren’t listed, but the total would be $263. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $182.25! The savings would be $80.75 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would be like getting the Premise blouse for free and most of the cost of Nicky statement bag covered! What a deal!
I also got this pamphlet in my recent Dia & Co box!
There is a note from Dia & Co CEO & co-founder, Nadia Boujarwah. Nadia talks about the ethos of Dia & Co which is to make plus sized women feel stylish, beautiful, uplifted, and most of all empowered by fashion! That is one of many reasons I love Dia & Co! The pamphlet on the other side gives you instructions on how to get the most of the Dia & Co experience! Did you know that Dia & Co now allows you to select up to three items in your style box? How neat is that? You pick out up to three pieces and your stylist selects the rest. Not only that, but Dia & Co now allows you to shop pieces that you can purchase and have included in addition to the pieces your stylist sends you! The booklet also talks about the free return and exchange options Dia & Co offers and the community powered Member Gallery! I love the Member Gallery because it allows Dia & Co Members to post selfies in their new pieces from their box! I love this because it can serve as inspiration for what you pick out for your box or suggest to your stylist, but also allows women to feel themselves and show off a bit! Pretty awesome if you ask me!
The back shows pictures featured from the Dia & Co community and a way to get a $20 credit on your account by referring a friend!
Keller Lace Patterned Dress by nanette NANETTE LEPORE, Size 20 — Retail Value $59
I actually pinned this dress on the Dia & Co site! I was curious about the Nanette Lepore pieces they offered—and I must say they do not disappoint! This dress is the epitome of springtime/early summer. The style is so romantic with the lace details at the décolletage and on the sleeves. The whimsical floral pattern of pastel shades against the deep navy blue is gorgeous! The fabric has limited stretch, but the dress has a perfect fit that isn’t too tight or too loose. I can envision wearing this dress at the office or for a summer wedding. Bring out that baby pink with a matching handbag and some yellow open-toed heels to make this ensemble truly pop!
Nashville Jumpsuit by Sabrina Collective, Size 20 — Retail Value $55
This is another piece I decided to pin that my stylist, Katherine F, sent my way! I was torn between pinning the black and white option and this one, but I was attracted to the vibrant pinks and red on this jumpsuit. I am a sucker for a good jumpsuit and this piece is no exception! Jumpsuits are somehow both cool and chic. If I was still visiting chilly San Francisco, I would have packed this along with my black moto jacket for a hip, yet relaxed vacation outfit! The fabric is ultra-stretchy and soft, plus the legs have a baggy cut which makes this piece incredibly easy to wear. Wear this on a date to the movies—it is just as comfy as wearing pajamas on your couch at home, I swear!
Claire Pleat Back Blouse by Premise, Size 2x — Retail Value $45
If you follow my reviews you will know that leopard print is a mainstay in my wardrobe. There is never such a thing as too much leopard print, as far as I am concerned. I also consider it a neutral that pairs perfectly with most everything! I had pinned this top and my stylist, Katherine F, sent it my way! Man, do I love that pin option! I also love the almost vertical striped effect the top has due to the camel toned background of the print on the sides and the off white in the middle. The fabric has limited stretch, but that is not necessary since the top has a long length and is roomy. I love tucking in tops, so the fact this piece is so long is fine by me! I styled the top with the black skirt included in my box, but I can imagine pairing this with a metallic gold pencil skirt and a pair of wedges for a night on the town. Also wear this top with a pair of dark rinse jeans and western style boots in cooler fall weather. Complete that look with a classic faux leather biker jacket.
Aster A-Line Skirt by Prescott New York, Size 3x — Retail Value $59
You can’t go wrong with a black A-line skirt. An item like this is so versatile and makes for an incredible staple piece. The fabric has ample stretch with an elastic waistline. The length is perfect and is appropriate for work or going out! I wore this out styled with a band shirt I purchased on my big Bay Area vacation and my chunky black lug sole sandals. This also would look fantastic at the office paired with a black and white striped top and loafer flats for a casual, yet chic ensemble. Complete the look with a fitted blazer if you like as well!
Nicky Statement Acrylic Bead Heart Bag With Lining — Retail Value $45
I saw this purse and fell in love with it immediately. Kitschy beaded bags made a welcomed return this summer season and I, for one, was here for it! It is such a cute statement piece that will garner attention and compliments everywhere you go. Imagine how bummed I was when I tried to open the bag and realized the liner was torn at the clasps! I decided to return the bag To Dia & Co since it was damaged. This is where providing feedback on every single box is so crucial.
A day or two after providing feedback on the bag, I came home to another package from Dia & Co!
Inside was a replacement bag complete with a note!
They also included an invoice reflecting no charge for the purse too.
Here it is! In all its glory!
And look, the clasps and lining are in perfect shape! The purse is wonderful, but I truly cannot get over the phenomenal customer service Dia & Co provided me! I was not expecting a replacement since I chose to return the piece, but they sent this to me to make up for the experience! This makes me HEART them even more!
Verdict: I absolutely adore Dia & Co! Having the ability to select up to three of the five pieces in my monthly box is my favorite thing! I trust my Dia & Co stylist, but I also enjoy the option to select three pieces that pique my interest. The pin feature is also fantastic! Thanks to that feature, I was able to let my stylist in on my interest in the Nashville jumpsuit she selected for me.
I always stress how crucial it is to fill out feedback on monthly subscription boxes– my most recent experience with the damaged purse is a great example. Dia & Co took the time to take notice of the feedback I provided and promptly remedied the issue. I am impressed by their commitment to their customers and how proactive they were in the matter! I have worked in the customer service industry since I turned sixteen, so I am fully aware of how vital it is to flip a moment of misery into a pleasant one. I feel so appreciated and heard by them from this incident. I just want to scream my love for Dia & Co from the rooftops, I tell ya!
