July 2019 BuddhiBox Yoga Box Review
BuddhiBox always includes a card with a mantra or saying on it. On the reverse is this month's item list. Most of the products they include are cruelty-free, organic, vegan, or more than one!
Also included this month is a yoga pose card.
One of our listed items is The Master Chakra Integration Technique with Crystals online course. It included this poster (8.5 inches by 4.5 inches). The listed value on the sheet is $99 but I generally don't include digital goods with my value breakdowns. I attempted to sign up for this program and the included code did indeed bring the cost to $0.00, but still required a credit card.
Rose Quartz Heart – Listed Value $15.00
FYI: This heart is slightly under 1.5 inches x 1.5 inches.
I love rose quartz, and believe it or not, I don't think I have one in a heart shape! The soft pink is very pretty and I find the lines and markings so intriguing to look at.
Nosey Aroma Memory Kit - Retail Value $30.00
This dainty string bracelet features black porous stones and a clear quartz bead. It also comes with a roll-on essential oil roller that you can apply to the lava stones for aromatherapy on the go. The oil smells really nice and is a blend of ylang-ylang, mandarin, sweet orange, and patchouli.
Set of 2 Notecards - Listed Value $15.00
These cards are very pretty and I love that they are square. They each come with handsome kraft envelopes and feature original art by Lila Galindo. Though I do like them very much, a listed value of $15 seems a little more than high for two cards.
Gypsy Soul Organics Facial Toner Spray, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $30.00
I love toners and spritzes, especially in the hot summer months. This blend is especially soothing and contains rose water, green tea, and lavender. Three of my faves for soft, calm skin! The nozzle itself is also a blessing as it is a true mister instead of shooting out a straight jet.
Nature Derived Hair Spray, 2 fl oz - Retail Value $7.00 (Listed Value $10.00)
I liked this spray more than I thought I would. Again, it has a great mist nozzle which casts a fine layer of this when sprayed. It gave my hair a delightfully tousled look and did add volume, though I would not classify this as "max hold" by any means. It is a great option for someone looking for a texture spray that is natural and plant-derived!
The Verdict: BuddhiBox Yoga Box felt a little light this month, though a lot of the "value" was in that $99 course. The actual items we did receive, I quite enjoyed, especially the facial toner and rose quartz heart. The bracelet is simple enough to make a great stacker and the hair spray was a surprising win. I also thought the cards were unique and a nice addition. This box continues to be confusing when it comes to listed values, and I really hope to see that improve.
To Wrap Up:
Value Breakdown: This box costs $34.95 + $5 shipping, which means that each of the 5 items (minus the course or the drawstring pouch) in the box has an average cost of $7.99.
