The socks arrive with a card to give you some explanation of what’s about to be on your feet. I can see bright colors peeking out already!
Feelin' Hot Men's Socks
The second the smell of charcoal hits the air, I'm immediately rocketed back to childhood. Back in the '80s, before a lot of grills got super-fancy with propane, my dad was the king of the briquettes, and few things remind me of him as much as a grilled burger does! This bright pair is patterned with all the elements of a great cookout; burgers, dogs, condiments, and even a spatula! The heels and toes on these are such a vibrant yellow, contrasting nicely with the sky-blue background of the rest of the socks. "Feelin' Hot" is the phrase on the bottom this month, and my very favorite part is the burger's little face - what a hoot! These socks are a 70% cotton, 25% polyester, and 5% spandex blend, which helps them keep their shape wash after wash in addition to being pretty breathable and soft. I like the attention to functionality as well as the great design.
Verdict: Who knew I needed a burger with a face in my life this summer? Say It With a Sock, you know me better than I know me! The bright colors and funny pattern really make a statement this month, and these babies are just begging to be shown off. I have a couple of pairs of chunky clogs that I would most certainly wear with these pulled up the whole way, just to see who would notice them and laugh with me!
