Orange & Chili Pepper Monogram Candle, 8 oz - Retail Value $35
I have yet to meet a citrus candle I do not like, and that is still true after meeting this one. It has enough of a scent throw to fill my bedroom with its slightly spicy citrus scent, and even though I have been burning it frequently it has held up well- that's the all-natural USA-grown soy wax and the clean-burning cotton eco-wicks for you.
Egyptian Amber Soy Candle, 8 oz - Retail Value $35
This candle is made with the same quality materials, only it is housed in a black and white jar rather than a glass one. The Egyptian amber scent is a blend of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood, and I appreciate the warmth that the strong notes of sandalwood provide.
Lovespell Travel Tin Candle - Retail Value $10
This smells just like the iconic Lovespell fragrance with notes of citrus, cherry blossom, hydrangea, apple, and peach, and though this is a small little guy it still has a decent scent throw. This is also made with the same American-grown soy wax and cotton eco-wicks as its larger candle counterparts.
The Verdict: All three candle scents this month smelled great - this Lovespoon Candles box was a winner! I did notice that the subscription format for this has changed - you can now sign up for a $55 month-to-month subscription, and shipping is free! You can’t deny that this box has great packaging and a lovely unboxing experience, and I appreciate that the candles are high quality and burn clean. I was happy with the scent throw these candles put out, and they would also make a lovely gift if one scent isn’t your style—just slap a bow on the box and make your friend's day! Value wise, this box has a value of $80.
