The theme this month is “Your Main Squeeze” and I received 3 brushes.

  • M448 pointed powder brush

    1 of 4

  • M448 packaging

    2 of 4

  • M448 tip detail

    3 of 4

  • M448 brush head

M448 Pointed Powder Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $9.00

I really like a fluffy brush and this one has that fluff but also is more pointed than most others I have seen. A brush like this is exactly what I want to have close by for applying powder highlighters. The tapered head allows me to access the specific areas on my face I want, but the soft bristles diffuse the highlighter in a perfect gradient.

    • M466 brush

      1 of 4

    • M446 round buffer brush head

      2 of 4

M446 Round Buffer Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $14.00

This is like a kabuki brush on steroids! I love it! I haven’t been wearing much foundation this season, instead choosing to spritz my face with one of my two favorite sprays and then while my face is still damp I apply my fave liquid concealer to my undereye or any other spot that is looking dull or red. I then buff the concealer until it is seamless, for a perfectly even but still “no makeup” makeup finish. This brush is absolutely perfect for this task!

      • M450 round powder brush

        1 of 4

      • M450 label

        2 of 4

      • M450 brush tip

        3 of 4

      • M450 brush head

        4 of 4

M450 Round Powder Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $9.00

Finally, our last brush I chose to use with blush, but you could certainly use it with highlighters or any powder really! It is smaller than my usual go-to blush brush, but still wildly fluffy and super soft, making it an A+ in my book.

Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club sent some real winners this month. I know one doesn’t need a million kabuki-style brushes, but I don’t think I would ever complain about getting more of these styles for my ever-growing collection. Though I am wearing less and less makeup as the weather gets hotter and hotter, I don’t think I could ever see myself giving up blush or highlighter, so the other two will go to good, consistent use. Overall, this month has a retail value of $32, which is $12 more than the $20 subscription cost.

        To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you’ll receive the August brushes if you sign up by August 23rd.

Value Breakdown: At $19.99 + free shipping for this box, each of our three brushes has an average cost of $6.66.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
