Flair & Paper “Squeeze the Day” July 2019 Review
Each box comes beautifully wrapped with a welcoming card introducing the theme for the box as well as an itemization of all the items we received. This month’s theme is "Squeeze the Day."
Every subscription box comes with 4-5 greeting cards. They always measure the same: 4 ½" x 5 ½" for horizontal cards and 5 ½" x 4 ½" for vertical cards. Each card is blank on the inside which is perfect for a picture, message or stickers.
You’re The Zest Greeting Card –Retail Value $4.00
I love this card! The image has so much detail in the lemon and the leaves and the font is adorable. This card is paired with a brownish-orange A-style envelope.
Squeeze The Day Greeting Card – Estimated Retail Value $4.00
Yum! This card makes me want to make some homemade lemonade! It’s a pretty simple card with images of juicy, split lemons. I do wish this card was paired with a yellow envelope, though, since the brownish-orange envelope almost seems to clash with it.
Birthday Wishes Greeting Card – Estimated Retail Value $4.00
I think this is my favorite card this month. Yellow and blue make one of my favorite color combinations. I really love the lemons around the stripes. This card is paired with a pale yellow A-style envelope.
Hello Sunshine Greeting Card – Estimated Retail Value $4.00
This card is simple and sweet. The sun and its rays are yellow with a tint of orange. The font on the card is lovely and really makes the card. This card is paired with the brownish-orange envelope.
The Ride Is Sweeter With You Greeting Card – Estimated Retail Value $4.00
This is my second favorite card this month! I love the scooter with the lemons in the basket and a fresh-squeezed lemonade on the seat. It looks really nice against the green card. This card will make a perfect anniversary card; life can be quite a ride! Like most of our cards this month, this one is paired with the brownish-orange envelope.
Lemon Bowl Notepad and Coordinating Pen – Retail Value $6.75
I am loving the lemon theme this month! My next item is this wonderful to-do list and matching pen. It is a standard notepad, measuring at 3 ½ x 8 inches and has 75 lined pages. The pen is a standard black pen with a white barrel and gold dots. My favorite part about this notepad is definitely the blue striped bowl. Side note – there are multiple lemon notepads (and so many others!) through the link above.
Lemon Memo Pads – Retail Value $2.10
This is probably the coolest set of memo notes I have ever received in any subscription. Like ever. On first look, it is a lemon wedge, but I opened it up and now it’s a 3D lemon! I love it and think it is more of a decoration than a pad I will use. I am also really thinking of making a memo note fruit basket since there are a lot of these on Amazon.
Monthly Calendar
Every month, Flair & Paper will include a calendar insert. This month it has lots of lemons around the border.
Verdict: I look forward to my Flair & Paper box every month. The box is always so beautifully curated and put together, from the tissue paper and the sticker to all the contents in the box. My favorite part about Flair & Paper is the original greeting cards I receive. I have gifted them to people on special occasions and always get great feedback. This month, we got 5 cards with a total estimated value of $20, which is the cost of the box alone. I was also able to find the pen and notepad set as well as the memo pad online, for a combined value of $11.84. A total value of $31.84. This box only costs $19.99 with free shipping so the value was definitely there this month!
