June 2019 BuddhiBox Essential Oils Box Review
BuddhiBox always includes a card with a mantra or saying on it. On the reverse is this month's packing list. Most of the products they include are cruelty-free, organic, vegan, or more than one!
The Dreaming Yogi Meditation Access — Listed Retail Value $10.00
Included this month is a small card with a link to meditation led by Meli, the Dreaming Yogi. The mediation is just over y minutes long, so it is short enough to fit into your day but long enough to be meaningful. The theme is "Sun Medicine."
Plant Life Grapefruit Essential Oil, 10 ml - Retail Value $9.00
Grapefruit is a perfect oil for this summer box! Stimulating and sharp, I love blending in my diffuser this with lavender and cedar for a complex and clean kitchen scent. It is just as beautiful on its own and is very uplifting.
Mexican Fire Opal — Listed Value $10.00
Good to know: The largest of these stones is barely over an inch long.
Fire opals are really interesting because they have this amazing color (especially in sunlight) and all of these curious inclusions. As far as quality goes, these are absolutely still in the rough, but I like them even more for it. Mexican Fire Opal is a stone of luck and abundance, and like so many yellow/orange/red stones, they are said to increase energy and creativity.
Vahdam Teas - Listed Value $5.00
Included this month was a paid of fine teas in Earl Grey flavors. Earl Grey is my absolute favorite tea, so I was pleased! There is both a black and green blend, so I can enjoy my favorite Bergamot brew before bedtime and in the morning too!
Scented Votive Candle by The Crystal Crow - Listed Value $12.oo
Though I love the votives included in this subscription, the values always seem super inflated. This cheerful yellow candle smells somewhat beachy, but not in a sunscreen type of way. These always burn evenly and brightly and are the perfect size for many of my holders.
The Verdict: BuddhiBox Essential Oil Box felt a little thin this month, but at least each of the items was nice. The grapefruit oil smells amazing and blends so well with others in my collection. I also loved the fire opals and candle, and the teas were a nice little treat. Values were hard to come by this month but I have to admit the items didn't quite feel like a great value for a $16.95 box.
To Wrap Up:
Value Breakdown: This box costs $16.95 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box (minus the meditation) has an average cost of $4.24.
