As always, Amoda has sent along some biodegradable tea filters, which are always welcome in my tea stash!

Blue Chamomile – Buy 10 g for $3.50

Wow! This tea is legit blue when brewed! That gorgeous hue comes from the pea flower in the blend. The info card says it changes to purple if you squeeze in some citrus. I didn’t have any lemons on hand, but I hope to order a little more of this stuff and see! The taste is pure, calming chamomile, and this brew is perfect for winding down before bedtime.

Marry Me Again – Buy 50 g for $15.00

This beautiful black tea reminded me so much of an Earl Grey decked out in lavender instead of bergamot. It was wonderfully smooth and filled with little blue and violet flowers that floated around my cup while brewing. Teas should always be as pretty as they are tasty, at least if you ask me!

Saba – Buy 50 g for $15.00

This pretty green tea was filled with jasmine buds and the aroma of fresh lychee. I don’t normally love fruity teas, but even I couldn’t resist this one because I love lychee! The fruit was balanced by the earthiness of the green tea and the creamy florals of the jasmine, making this a winner for me. It felt like drinking a wonderful perfume.

Sherpa Breakfast – Buy 10 g for $3.50

This final tea has some serious kick! Smoky and nutty, it would be a perfect coffee alternative in the morning. I added some vanilla almond milk to mine and sipped it on my couch, surrounded by my pups and cat, taking some time for myself before my daily rush began. It had enough caffeine to keep me energized all day sans Red Bull!

Verdict: Amoda Tea really wowed me this month. A blue tea? I am in love! I also enjoyed the floral lychee blend and the Marry Me Again was also a flower overload brew. Floral teas make me happy, so I am pretty pleased that 3 out of 4 were flower heavy. The Sherpa Breakfast had a ton of kick, and I found the smoky notes delicious. If you are a tea lover, this is a great sub that you should totally try!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I love hot tea in the colder months but I like STRONG tea-I mean bold! No sissy camomile for me (😉). I do want to try a tea subscription box tho.

I think if I had to classify my tea type, it would be ‘weird’. I like weird things filled with flowers and in non-tea colors. I have to admit though, in the winter, I love a bold tea that knocks my socks off in the morning!
