Can’t wait to see what is curated for us this time. I love this box…. such great quality and useful items. I’m so excited 😆

Subscribers will be automatically billed for the Fall 2019 box on 10/7/19 and there’s not even one spoiler yet? Here’s hoping that they get some spoilers out soon!

This is the last box of my subscription. I enjoyed the first three boxes. Nothing in this box was for me. I don’t think i’ll sign for another year. I kept the brushes and everything else was passed on to my daughter.

I have had an annual subscription to this box starting with their first box this past Fall. This is the first box I am somewhat disappointed by. I do like the bracelet. Real Techniques brushes are OK, but in a $95 box, I just expect something better than I can get at Wal-mart. I am happy about the full size Tidal cream, but now it seems that same cream may be in the BoxyLuxe this September. I never use self-tanner. I doubt I’ll use the cocktail kit. I read about the candle. It contains amber which gives me horrible migraines. Loved the other 3 boxes, but this one is making me wonder if I should renew or not.

I loved the Sunday Riley summer box. I wasn’t wild about the bracelet, not my style, but it is great for a gift. I can use all of the products, love the Tidal cream (and the A+ and Good Genes). I can’t wait to use the self tanner drops. Love the idea of a summer read, My son-in law is a road warrior and will love the cocktail kit…..fun and creative. Frizz spray will be nice for the summer humidity. I never have enough brushes, they will be used along with the blender. Candle is cute and I will use the Coola Skinny Dip. I have also gotten the Love box and Travel Box, I might have like them better, but I still love this box and the curation. I also receive three other subscription boxes and hands down for me Sunday Riley is my favorite for quality and value.

Will the tanning drop shade will be random? I’m not seeing an option to choose but I know some members with recurring subscriptions were able to select. I tried to set up a recurring subscription and still didn’t see an option.

Diane

I sent an email to their customer service team about that, and they replied that they are no longer able to determine client preference for the self tanning drops due to inventory restrictions. Kind of a bummer.

Compared to the love box and the travel box, I am less thrilled with a few of the items but overall is a well curated summer themed box and probably my fav box at the moment. happy to get a full size tidal and the bracelet is really pretty. I wish more boxes sent items with stones in them so very excited about the cuff bracelet. The book and the brushes I can do without but excited to try the other items.

I paid way less than 95 for my glam bag and got a full sunday riley lotion and more stuff :). so I am good…. I will check out the edit sale but hoping they dont have anything I need haha r i mean want….

What exactly is an “edit sale”, and how does it differ from a regular type of sale? Does the “edit” part imply they are discontinued items and being “edited” out? I’ve worked in retail for 25 years and honestly I never heard the term “edit sale” before I started looking at sub box reviews

Fabfitfun has an edit sale going right now until 7/10 if you bought the summer box. They usually sell high end brands for a discount (Murad, sr, Kate Somerville, always change brands each sale tho)

Justmissjamey

This is my first time seeing this box….it seems like a seasonal box….do you have to buy it over box, or can you sign up once and every season they automatically send it once you sign up?!

Reply ButtonReply

Lynda

You can sign up once. You get a discount if you do that.

Reply ButtonReply

Tamra S

You subscribe and they ship it each season. You can be charged seasonally or save a little by prepaying. I signed up for an annual subscription.

I literally just bought a new jar of the Tidal cream. But that’s OK. It can go in my backup drawer 🙂 I’m of the opinion one can never have too many brushes or makeup sponges – I never use yesterday’s brushes or sponges today, so I like having multiple sets. The bracelet is pretty – if it fits and isn’t made of an easily bent metal, I’ll enjoy it. As for the rest? I’ll probably end up passing it on to family members. And that’s OK too! They love it when I get a new boxes in the mail – there’s always extras!

Alex

This reminded me to buy the last box, the Travel themed one 🙂 😊

Sunday Riley boxes have been great, I loved the travel box and would have liked the Love edition if I had seen it in time to order. Of the four editions they have put out, this is the only one that is an easy pass for me. The curation on these is usually on point with slightly higher end items than many sub boxes. That said, this edition is a huge miss.

Tracy

I’ve bought every one of their boxes so far and was looking forward to this one. Unfortunately I already have a nearly full jar of the Tidal and that’s it the main attraction in terms of SR products here. The rest of the stuff I either don’t want or have via FFF edit/add-on sales.

Oh well, I’ll save some money! Hope next time is better.

For those who think this box should be only Sunday Riley products… This box is by the Sunday Riley Edit team. It’s on online beauty and lifestyle ‘zine. It covers way more than Sunday Riley products and is actually pretty good reading.

Luna

Thanks for mentioning this! I love reading online beauty sites like The Sunday Edit 🙂

Wow! This is a $362.00 box! Well worth it! The only thing I am not fond of is the bracelet but it would make an excellent gift to put in my stash. I want this box!!!!!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Yurena

Nothing here of interest to me… and the price? wow just wow.

Denise

SMH love Sunday Riley products but not enough to get scammed this is obviously a rip off( teeny old samples). However if they get their stuff together and personally curate boxes for people with Only Sunday Riley products then I would totally understand $100 for a subscription box.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

The way the stone is set in that bracelet makes it look very cheap. Not really impressed with all this. But I won’t use sunday riley products anyways so I really only look for the other stuff.

Reply ButtonReply

Latasha

Very over priced. Very few Sunday Riley products. If I’m going to pay $95 for a particular subscription box I expect to receive those products that matches with the company. I can buy my own book, candle and makeup brushes. Sunday Riley should have replaced these items with their products. I’m a faithful
buyer of Sunday Riley products and was looking forward to this box. This is a rip off. Alot of these subscription boxes are over priced with cheap products. That’s whyyy alot of them are failing and closing. TestTube will always be my #1 sub box. It’s worth every dime and the products are well worth it. Will not be buying this Sunday Riley box.

T.Marie

It’s actually cheaper if you sign up for a subscription instead of a one time box. I think it’s like $10 less.

Reply ButtonReply

kimi

I agree, very overpriced for the contents in the box.

Reply ButtonReply

Regan

Here I go to immediately stalk the swap boards for a copy of the book……

Reply ButtonReply

NinaS

Meh…..after that PHENOMENAL Travel Box, this is a huge disappointment and a no go for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Jean

I have to agree. The Travel Box was sooo good. I chose to subscribe to get the $85 price so now I’m getting this one too unless I figure out how to skip or cancel. Off to the SR site to read terms & conditions…

Reply ButtonReply

Lorina

Don’t know if I need a kush candle or a romance novel but otherwise this box is IDEAL

Reply ButtonReply

NinaS

Same here! New sub and prepaid! It would be great if we can skip this. This box is practically useless for me….

Reply ButtonReply

Regan

I’m interested in swapping for the book

TNTriathlete

Irresistible IMO. Can always cut back on something less important. (Like food.)

T.Marie

Hahaha

The last box was SO good. This one is nice but not really my speed. Looks like I’m saving a little money, which isn’t a bad thing.

Reply ButtonReply

Adeline

i liked the previous box way better

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

It’s so weird that they include so little of their own product.

Definitely up for swapping for the R+Co, though !
