Frank And Oak Style Plan Women’s Summer Tops & Pants Review
When you first sign up for this subscription, you fill out a quick style profile that captures your sizing preferences and your sense of style. (Choose from Casual, Classic, and Creative). Then, you can pick whether you’d like a monthly or a bi-monthly plan and set your budget for each box (under $150 or $150+).
One thing I like about Frank And Oak is that you can preview exactly what they’re going to send you before it’s shipped out. There are around 12 products on the page each month, and you can either stick with the three items Frank And Oak picks (based on your preferences) or choose for yourself from those options. You can also adjust sizes as needed.
Prepare for lots of neutral tones this month! Here’s a breakdown of everything I received:
Good Cotton Super High Waisted Belted Pants, Size 10 – Retail Value $89.50, Member Price $79.50
Wow, these summery pants are so comfortable! The 100% organic cotton fabric feels fresh, smooth, and crisp, like a brand new pair of high-quality bedsheets. And like great bedsheets, they’re breathable and light as a feather. The one caveat is that because they’re so light, these pants wrinkle awfully easily. The thinner fabric also doesn’t disguise a ton, so I’ll have to be careful about what I wear under them. But this high-waisted trouser is fantastic for dressing up or down, and the rusty color is just the kind of unexpected, yet versatile hue that I like in my wardrobe.
Good Cotton Boy Tee in Light Taupe, Size Medium – Retail Value $29.50, Member Price $23.50
I love the unisex crew cut of Frank And Oak’s Boy tees. The feel is great, too—it’s light as a feather, with a soft, effortless knit. I’m not totally sure how I feel about the color quite yet—I liked the idea of something super neutral and understated, but does this beige hue wash me out too much? Still, summer T-shirt season is in full effect, and I feel like this piece will be getting quite a bit of use under jean jackets and tucked into high-waisted jeans.
Textured Viscose Button-Up Tee, Size Medium – Retail Value $69.50, Member Price $64.50
I couldn’t find this short-sleeve top online any more, which is a shame, as it’s a great little blouse. The semi-sheer, soft-as-silk fabric has a pretty ivory color, which feels sophisticated enough for professional settings, as well as casual occasions. I liked the cut of the sleeves best of all—they weren’t tight around my arms, and the slightly slouchy shoulders flattered my broader frame. Again, this top is semi-sheer, so be wary of what you wear under it. (I’m wearing a black bra top in the photos, so that you can get an idea of how much shows through.) I was really impressed by the luxurious quality of this viscose faux-silk fabric, with its pretty pin-dot pattern. When I saw it online, I was worried this top seemed pricey for what it was. But in person, it makes perfect sense—the price is totally fair for the amazing quality and feel of this top.
Verdict: Frank And Oak has quickly become one of my favorite places to shop, and the Style Plan makes it so simple. They’re really wonderful at presenting you with on-trend, of-the-season clothing, and I’ve been really impressed with the fit and quality of the pieces that I’ve received so far. Should anything outright NOT work, it’s simple to send the items back for a refund. My closet is currently about 60% Frank And Oak right now, and I couldn’t be happier. I find myself reaching for their cool, yet versatile looks almost every day.
To Wrap Up:
Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each Frank And Oak Style Plan box is customized based on your preferences, so what you get will likely be different than what I did. Follow the product links above to see if these specific items are still available individually, and sign up for your own Style Plan to discover even more great looks!
Value Breakdown: The retail price for the three items I received this month is $188.50. But the member price drops that cost down to $167.50. (That’s about 11% off.) If I decide to return all the items, I will pay the $25 styling fee and will be refunded the remaining amount, but I can keep any one item at the discounted price and no styling fee will be charged.
