My box looked the same. Hair dryer piece was broken, boxes and bottles dented, it was so bad that my palettes mirror shattered…also they replied to tell me to send a pic…nothing back since i sent it though

I’ve been playing with a lot of bright colors lately so these look like a nice way to go back to neutral for every day looks. Plus I’ve never tried Butter London so I’m looking forward to it. Now, if my June Luxe box would actually SHIP, that would be GREAT!! I’ve NEVER had to wait this long to get my Boxy and it’s really irritating me!! Send like it’s getting later and later every month for the last four months!

Does anyone know if you sign up right now if you’ll get your first box in July or will you still get the June? I can’t seem to find a cut off date. I want July, not June.

And Is this a guarantee in the box or a ‘maybe’?

Macie adams

If you sign up now you will get the June I don’t think there is a cut off date until the first of the very next month. I started in November of last year I subscribed at the very end like the 20th something.

you would get june, wait until after july 1st and you will get the new prescriber box unless you were a previous subscriber then you would get July subscriber box. hope this helps:-)

I’m suffocating in eyeshadow palettes :/ I can’t get rid of them even on ebay ! I do enjoy Boxy however, you can opt out of two categories for Ipsy which is great ! I think boxy’s customization is not great and they need to rethink their strategy quickly. They don’t even follow the beauty profile regarding skin tones, etc. – the sub game competition is real 😉

Abby

This is a nice change. Something I can wear anytime anywhere.

It’s a MEH for me. That palette doesn’t scream summer or anything other than “corporate dresscode”. Butter London makes quality products, but these colors are pretty neutral/boring.

Will we ever get the palettes from Dose of Colors? One shown was last year’s holiday palette, so what are they waiting for?!

They really need to start the customization. It’s been a year and they aren’t any closer to making custom boxes.

pinkhoo

I like the looks of this palette but I would also like a Dose of Colors palette. That would be great.

Reply ButtonReply

Sofia

These colors look like they would work for a professional office setting. I like it.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann Marie Shebuski

that palette is ugly. So sick of these b-side brand palettes. Well, at least it’s not another janky Tarte palette.

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberly

I am on palette overload, but at least it isn’t Tarte or PUR..Like they are finally getting other brands. Fingers crossed for some other good spoilers. Hopefully not 100 variations! Now if My GBP and Boxyluxe would just get here already..haha.

I’m loving these colors and excited to try Butter London. Now if only my June Lux box would get here 🤗

Nikki

I was going to cancel my boxy because I just have too many subscriptions but I think I’ll wait one more month. I’m really excited to try this pallet!

Reply ButtonReply

Phyllis

I’m right there with you. I get sucked back in every time I think about taking a break..I’m like “Just one more box..that’s it” 🤣😂

I’m excited to receive this pallete, but is it just me who thinks it looks like they had to rub the heck out of the pans to get the swatches?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

That and why not put the palette colors under the swatches instead of opposite?

Reply ButtonReply

Steph H.

Exactly! It always bothers me when the swatches are backwards.

Michelle

Agreed, and the teal swatch looks like they went over it more than once, looks pretty rough. And these ‘made just for Boxycharm’ palettes are always a letdown, subpar quality. Also don’t like that you can’t do a full eye look with it, I never end up using palettes like that. The green and pink are pretty colors but overall, super underwhelmed by this, but I’m sure the skincare item will still make for a good box.

Reply ButtonReply

Kerry G

They did say they accidentally dropped the palette in the video of the swatches so that may explain why it looks a little beat up.

Dani

I hadn’t noticed but now that I took another look I think you’re right. Especially the lighter colors. Either that or they’ve already used the palette a few times prior to this photo which doesn’t seem likely. I’m glad you pointed it out because I’m really trying to cancel Boxy for a while. At least until I can swap and/or sell my current makeup horde. 😀

This palette looks like a solid quality palette. Is it new or anything groundbreaking? No but it’s hard to find anything that is nowadays with the amount of new things we’ve seen in the last couple years. It’s especially hard for a brand to get daring in a sub box as they’re trying to curate to everyone and that’s can’t be done if half the people subbing to the box won’t use it. That being said, Butter London is a good brand and the color scheme will fit nicely into my existing collection so I’m pleased with this.

Would look goodif you gave brown eyes I think. Not for this green eyed girl. Blah.

Reply ButtonReply

Nika C

second that Dkla !

Reply ButtonReply

Amarie

I have green eyes, and I disagree completely. I’m looking forward to receiving this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

This green eyed girl disagrees…I love it.

Dena

Doesn’t excite me at all. Hopefully the other products make up for it.

I cancelled boxycharm because i got off the waitlist for GBP, im regretting it now as I wait and wait for my box when usually I am creating with my new box now. What good are better and bigger products if you have to wait forever for them? Wait for me Boxychatm…im on my way back ….

Danielle

It may be because it’s your first Plus box. I always get my Ipsy Plus before my Boxycharm/BoxyLuxe. I’ve been with Boxy over four years and often don’t get my box until very near the end of the month. That never happens with Ipsy Plus. Maybe it just depends on where you live as far as Boxy. But I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy Plus almost since the beginning and I have to say the pros definitely outweigh the cons. You might want to give Ipsy Plus one more month to be sure. Also, in case you don’t already know, you can opt out of two types of products with Ipsy. As they grow and offer more products each month my personalization has improved other than receiving more makeup than skincare (4/5) , but they rectified that after I contacted them. So if you have any issues (including late shipment) Ipsy Care has been really great at trying to make things right lately. Just one sub addict’s opinion who happens to be currently trying to have enough control to cancel one of these subs! 😁

Christi

What do you mean by opt out of 2 types of products with ipsy glam bag plus! Im just curious if im missing out on a perk!

Courtney

Great brand & I have not tried their eyeshadows yet. I am just not much on these colors… Let’s see what’s in the rest of the box!

The colors are a big no for me, but that’s my personal preference though. I see there are some of us who like warmer or even brighter, pinks, purples, reds, berry colors, and the like, while others want brown, brownish, greys, yellows, oranges, and the yucks! No offense to y’all though… Reckon it’s different strokes for different folks, I don’t like the nude and orange red lippies either, but that’s just me! Stuff makes me look like the corpse of Frankensteins bride! Just sayin…👀🧟‍♀️🖤👰🧟‍♀️💀⚰🤢💀🤢🤮😜😶😑😶🦇⚰🚫🅰️🔟🥔👁👁🍑🧟‍♀️👰☠💀⚰🤣😁😉😘

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

That’s why it would be so great if they’d do what they’ve been promising for a year or so. PERSONALIZE. At least follow our profile for shades if not products altogether.

Reply ButtonReply

Lacey

Is it just me or does Boxycharm take the CRAPPIEST photos for their spoilers? Makes everything look like trash.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

They are screen shots from their insta-story. It’s a still from a moving picture almost always.

Reply ButtonReply

Phyllis

Yeah I agree also. Why didn’t she use the napkin in her hand to clean it up before shooting the photo?

Reply ButtonReply

Britt

YES!! I always think that!

Reply ButtonReply

Svetlana7e

You are not alone. This pallet looks dirty 🙂 with swatches on some random arm.

Reply ButtonReply

I am holding out hope that the promised Elemis item will be in every box. My thought is it may be the unicorn item that only a few get based on the retail value. I have too many eyeshadow palettes. If I didn’t, I would like to receive this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Yessy

Am I the only one who is excited for this palette? The colors scream for me and I can’t wait for what’s next to come for spoilers. I just hope it’s not a variant and Butter London is one of my favorite brands. I am very excited for this box. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

DG

In my experience of 4+ years, generally everyone gets the same exact eyeshadow palette when they send one. That might not have happened every time since Boxyluxe started, but I have faith we’ll all get this same palette. Especially because I’ve noticed Butter London has really been pushing their makeup versus their nail polish lately. I imagine they’ll make enough for everyone.
