Your Bijoux Box "Daisy Chain" April 2019 Review

The April collection is filled with glitzy gold pieces with floral motifs. Let's see what we got!

Each box includes a card showing the theme and a short description of the included items.

Daisy Chain Collar

Flower motifs seem to be popping up everywhere now that the weather has warmed up and spring wardrobe pieces have worked their way out of the back of the closet. The laid-back glam of this necklace is perfect for pairing with lightweight tees and jeans. The flower shapes are made with iridescent stones, sequins, and pearls with two white tassels accenting the ends of the adjustable length gold chain. With a simple slide, I took the necklace from long to collar length in seconds. I love that the back is finished and smooth so it won't catch on my shirts or irritate my skin.

Daisy Chain Crawlers

I love the petite size of these ear crawlers! They compliment the necklace so well and work with most of my other gold jewelry too. Here, I've worn them pointed up so they "crawl" up my earlobe but they can also be worn pointing down for more of a drop effect. I love that Your Bijoux Box uses backs with wide plastic guards to make the studs sit straight and feel comfortable to wear all day.

Tennis Slide Bracelet

True to a classic tennis bracelet style, this flexible, gem-encrusted band is simple while still packing on some glam. It's easily adjustable with the slider bead and looks great paired with the other jewelry from this month. I like it stacked with a couple of thin gold cuffs too.

FYI: The term "tennis" bracelet started when Chris Evert, women's champion tennis player, lost a diamond bracelet during the 1978 US Open. The match was paused and the search for it was broadcast causing a buzz about this style of bracelet.

Bonus Item: Oops a Daisy Oil Cloth Pouch

This month's bonus goodie is a lovely floral pouch with metallic gold accents and a hot pink polka dot interior. The size is perfect for storing makeup, writing utensils, or jewelry for travel. Subscribers received a pouch last month as well, but I prefer this one because it sits upright on its own.

The Verdict: This is a fun collection of floral inspired jewelry from Your Bijoux Box. There has been good variation in the style of the jewelry included over the past few months ranging from silver and simple to golden and glitzy. The jewelry is nicely finished and fitted with great findings (like the adjustable sliding beads and wide earring backs) that give it a high-quality feel. Your Bijoux Box is beautifully packaged and would make a wonderful ready-to-give present.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? May is the current box. Usually, this subscription processes orders on the 1st of each month and ships on the 15th.

Value Breakdown: At $39.99 for this box, the average value of each of the items would be about $10.00.

I have subscribed to this box for a couple of years now and this may be my least favorite box ever. I feel like these pieces are not of the same quality as previous boxes. I miss the House of Harlow, Jules Smith, or Karen Kane pieces that got me hooked. I do love the cosmetic bag. It is bright, cheery and a nice size.

I agree. I got lovely designer jewelry last year from them. This year – I’m quite underwhelmed so far.

Jewelry aside, what lipstick are you wearing here!? Perfect color!

Shouldn’t the pouch have a daisy motif?🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

Haha! I thought the same. But it’s a play on words “Oops a daisy” meaning the roses were an “oops”. The jewellery photographs well, but I’ve subbed to the and received a MB – cancelled…in person was disappointed for the value paid.

What is this cheap-looking costume jewelry? Am I dreaming, or was not House of Harlow consistently included in this box? I used to be tempted to subscribe, but definitely no more. Some subs I just don’t get, and this is one of them.

The mystery box had super cheap junk that broke before I even wore it. In person it looks like children’s play jewelry. Waste of $

Kc,
Was the Mother’s Day box & the mystery box the same thing?
