I actually made up a “Pamper Yourself” kit for my mom for mother’s day from my stash. She is impossible to buy for as she buys herself what it is she wants, but she is horrible at pampering herself. It was a huge hit ! 🙂 She might buy herself moisturizers and the basics, but never masks, eye gels, bath sachets, etc. It made a few extra special treat nights for her, I think I need to do something like that more often!

Just this past weekend, I went into a Sephora at JC Penney and saw a couple of skincare kits that I got super excited about at first, but after really looking at what was in them, I realized that there was MAYBE one item in each that I didn’t already have, so my excitement was quickly deflated. I almost feel bummed I haven’t purchased a kit from them in quite a while. Well… I did purchase their Beauty Sleep Set in March during the sale because it was in store, and since I was in the moment, it was more of an impulse buy since it did have a couple of items I really wanted to try, and I think the fact it was the last one triggered the urge to get it. lol But other than that I can’t think of a single Favorites kit I’ve purchased this year!
