SOoo disappointed lately. I usually give the box to my son’s girlfriend but have been totally embarassed to gift it to her. There was a time you waited anxiously for these boxes, but who wants repeat samples. No thanks. I could go to the local drugstore and get my moneys worth.

I have had this subscription for over 2 years. Today I cancelled. I was so disappointed yet again with tiny samples, the same brands, a billion face masks, etc. Sad because this was my little treat. Have to go find another way of treating myself. I see I’m not the only one. What a shame.

I used to say this box wasn’t worth it for $21 but worth it if you could get it for buy 3 get 1 free.
This particular box was not even worth the $13 to me.

I have been subscribed two different times. I am not gonna stop my subscription over a box here and there that may not be up to par to me. Gonna hang in there with them. I can handle a few boxes a year that don’t meet my expectations. More times than not they have. I will stay the rest if this year to see how things go. I love the limited edition boxes. Even paying $40 is worth getting some better products in mostly full sizes.

This box is a waste of money here in Canada cost us $35 a month. The customer service sucks. The boxes in the UK Spain France are so much better but we get nothing but crap. A suggestion for those who want a good box for a great price look up look fantastic. I subscribe for 12 months and they take $20 Canadian out of my account on the first of the month so they don’t take all 12 months out at once which is great. And considering the box is coming from the UK I always get my box around the 8th of the month so shipping is awesome. And you don’t have to pay for shipping as well shipping is free. You usually get five items mostly Deluxe sizes although those sizes are 15 mil 20 mil so they’re not too bad and usually there’s one or two full sized items in the Box. Mostly expensive skin care from the UK but there’s always one or two makeup items in the Box. I’m sure you can see the spoilers here. if you want to see an unboxing check out my channel on YouTube Sincerely, LGS is my channel name. I also have an awesome giveaway happening right now it’s International. Jeffree Star brushes morphe Lancome tatcha so much more the value is worth over $500. But seriously check it look fantastic it’s a great box

Yes I just cancelled today. Some of these are the free samples companies give out. I’m not paying for free samples

I actually cancelled. The products are just ok and they are sample sized. Initially we received more full sized products so I saw the worth. But now I am seeing a lot of smaller sized items. When you compare it to other boxes in the $20, the value isn’t there.

This is the last month of $13/month deal, so I am ok with it although I was hoping for something special like a full-size item. The good news is that I will use pretty much everything in the box.

I bought a year subscription, because it was 20% the entire year. If I wasn’t paying $14 a box I’d be sad right now. But I am a little confused. The mask and the scrubber, pretty much January’s box. This will be my 5th box, I hope next month is more of a full sized item box, that’s why I signed up. January, February and March were great! I haven’t had any missing items and I’ve called in to order the special edition boxes (which is how I found them) it was so easy. Yesterday they told me I won their Keihls Earth day contest on ig and to email this lady and I still haven’t heard anything so we will see. contest said it ended the 25th, so something must have happened to one of the winners. But I do really love the boxes! I have a skincare box, mask box, hair product box, everyday makeup box, and my unopened/not everyday box! They really are pretty!

Congrats on winning the giveaway! 🙂
Out of curiosity, which hair product box do you sub to?

I took that to mean that she repurposes the lovely Glossyboxes to organize her stash in different categories. Not a list of different subscriptions. But I like how you’re on the lookout for a new one!😉

Looks like a $10 Birchbox sample.. but wait that is better. Tried a 3 month sub after taking a break for 2 years. Sorry I gave them another try… only the limited edition boxes have any value from my perspective. Only plus was I got a month free and $5 off the mother’s day box plus used my points up!! Do not think that I will be back

Bought a year’s subscription so that I would have something to look forward to as I do endless rounds of chemo. First couple of boxes were good. Then, missing items and tiny samples. Oh, and the non working code for our $5 off Mother’s Day box, which no one tried to fix for me. Only “what code? There’s no code.” Feb box, I think, was missing VDL Primer. $10 credit after a month or so of trying to get it sorted when I just wanted the PRIMER. I’ve not raised my voice or been rude with CS but have tried to empathize with them with each call. Live chat is a complete joke. The beauty profile is also a fail as I keep getting pale glosses and my profile states the opposite AND I’m a woman of color so there’s yet another throw/ give away item. And, let’s talk about the almost nonexistent spoilers…. Btw, my friends, in UK get much better boxes, spoilers etc. If not for cost of shipping, I would have signed up for UK box and had my friend ship it to US for me. Totally regretting this sub.

Hi love, I hope you’re doing better. And chemo with almost done. Glossybox sucks straight up and down it sucks. The UK France Spain Holland Germany boxes are amazing but the USA box it’s just a load of crap. And I’m in Canada the Box cost us $35 a month. An absolute No-No for me. I signed up for look fantastic that box comes from the UK. I sign up for 12 months so it cost me in Canada only $20 a month and they take it out of your account every month not all at once. So if you’re looking for a good box you should check out look fantastic. And in the states I think it’s only going to cost you maybe $15 a month. Mostly Deluxe size samples maybe one or two full size, and mostly skin care but the Skin Care is coming from the UK and wow their sample sizes are pretty big. I’m sure you can find spoilers here of the past boxes oh, I do have a YouTube channel it’s called sincerely, LGS. This box is definitely worth $20 a month for me in Canada. I hope you’re getting better and chemo is almost over. It’s such a strain and so tough on the body. I watched a close friend go through it. Hopefully you’re almost done love have a great weekend

What a boring box this month. I normally enjoy glossybox but this box makes me want to cancel. Doubt I’ll renew after my 3 months is up.

Yes I agree and I thought it would be more like the UK box but then I read that the US portion was purchased by a different company and that’s why they are soooo different. If it was like that box I would stay subscribed but this is nothing like that.

I agree that the U.K. and U.S. boxes don’t compare, but I’m curious… what company owns the U.K. box? I thought they were both owned by The Hut Group.

The scalp mask was in April’s LookFantastic box. I used it the other day, and I liked the tingle of the peppermint. I can’t say that it did anything special, but it just felt nice. The bottle is enough for at least 2 uses

Yeah another box with tiny samples. I won’t be renewing after my 3 months.

Make sure they don’t have you on auto-renew! I thought I had a 6 month subscription, but they automatically put my account on auto-renew. I tried to cancel but because I did it after the 14th, they refused so I had to pay for another 6 months. I was furious and customer service was awful!

I had the same thing happen to me today. I paid for 3 months only and at some point they switched me to auto renew. I called and they refused to refund. I even filed a dispute with Paypal and they refused to refund. Horrible boxes and now I am stuck lying for three more months. 🤦🏼♀️😡

I’m intrigued by the Purlisse items and the Oryza dewy item. I hope at least one of the Purlisse items is full size… that would totally make the box. The rest is just meh, for me. How many times are they going to include a Daily Concepts scrubber? I do enjoy Glossybox… this month just seems a bit boring.

I keep getting products from Oryza, but their website doesn’t work. I wanted to learn more about them and their products.

I have the full size Pur-Lisse Watermelon balm and it’s a large tube. Looking at the photo of the GB tube next to the sheet masks, I’d say it’s the size of the Ipsy Glam Bag travel sample sizes they’ve been putting in the bags.
Not sure if you subscribe to Ipsy Glam Bag, so I looked at my tubes. The samples are 10 ml. The regular sized product, which I bought recently, is 50 ml. which is also a bit small compared to most brands of face gels or creams in a tube. I’m used to Purlisse moisturizers being really large, but this product is definitely not a large tube. 😉
Nice product for those who have normal to combo or oily skin with no real concerns though, as it’s very light. I usually reach for something thicker for dry skin and anti-aging benefits, but may not want to as the weather gets warmer. 😉
