  1. This is my last box on an annual subscription. I do not want to renew, however, I would like access to the sales in place until the next box. I asked FFF when they will charge for the renewal, and the answer was vague – does anyone knows for sure? Thanks!

    • Customer service told me Sept 15th. I skipped this box but will let it renew then probably since I usually like fall 🙂

      • Same! I also asked today because this is my last box in my annual membership. I don’t think I’ll renew as I’ve found I give away half of the products!

      • Does FFF let you skip a season now if you are an annual subscriber?

        • Yes they do, I would check the Community Forum to see exactly how it works.

        • You have to be a member for at least a year and then they let you skip a box. I ended up cancelling my annual membership since there wasn’t really anything that I needed or wanted in this box. Maybe the eyeliner but I already have several and don’t need one right now. When I went to cancel my box, it popped up with a message stating I was eligible to skip a box since I had been a member for over a year. I decided to pass and continue with the cancellation.

    • Mine renewed automatically on the 20th of last May and so I canceled yesterday. Nothing wrong with the sub, I’m just on overload and have been with them since their second or third box.

    • It automatically renews. Happened to me. So make sure you go cancel. And it renews as the yearly subscription.

  2. On the generation clay masks website’s instructions it says “Using the applicator brush provided …”

Is there actually any sort of application tool included? It’s mentioned with the jar size as well but I can’t find any mention of the brush in any reviews for the mask.

    • That comes with the tub, this comes in a tube 😁

    • Any of the cheap foundation brushes work great for this. The ones that are flat and look more like a 1″ paint brush. I traded for one awhile back and it works great for applying any type of wash off mask.😉

    • You can also pick up flat mask brushes in 4pks on eBay, Macy’s beauty also had a cute set that included a brush, wide headbands ++ in a kit. They’re popping up more and more.

  3. I had all the Add Ons I wanted YES even the bkr bottle but once I went to customize my seasonal box I ended up canceling. I didn’t like how they set it up this time. I liked 3 items from choice 1 (robe, towel, SDJ) and two from choice 2 (Bowls&tote) that’s it and I didn’t want to pay extra $15 each. Waiting for it too be discounted or next edit box. Only regrets are the Robe and bum bum.
The bum bum should have been full size with no shower wash and the robe cotton. That’s why it wasn’t that exciting for me.

    • I’m with you. I originally had the Bum Bum and then added the hairdryer. Then I asked myself if I’d pay $15 for either normally and the answer was no. So I switched it to the hairdryer. I don’t know that I’ll be amazed by the Bum Bum cream and didn’t want it to be a flop. Having a second hairdryer is more practical.

  4. I am suprised by the polarization regarding this box. It is either love or hate… I love this box. There are things I chose that I would probably never have bought without having this box to push me into it. I love trying new things. Everyone in here probably has several (more than one) sub box… and $50 is pretty cheap for these things. Break it down into price per item. There are 9 items in the box (5 rounds of customization and 4 general products). That is only $ 5,56 per item. I think most of the products are worth more than that. If you do not like them, gift them! I think a lot of these things make great gifts. 🙂

    • That’s how I think of it, and have never really been dissapointed. This stuff is definitely worth more than $5!

      • Same!! I hate reading these negative reviews! Everything is super discounted. The coola face spray alone is $30!! And the discounted add one are great. Yes some items are cheap (jewelry) or break (coffee press) but the other items make for it. I left the the subscription service for a year and upon coming back the items have significantly got better. Thank you!

        • I’m kinda indifferent on the box! Don’t LOVE it, but most definitely don’t hate it! For $50, I’m excited for the West Elm bowls, Bum Bum cream, and Living Proof! May just save the rest for gifts but that’s still a win.

          • I am so excited for the bowls, and I paid $30 to add the towel and blow dryer as extras. I recently got a travel bottle of the body wash and love it! I cannot wait to get it.
Fingers crossed I also get the styling cream, I love living proof

    • Friends and I have traded items…it’s been great! And some things I have donated to the local LGBTQ for transgender youth. It’s a win!

      • That’s a great idea!!! There’s a center for LGBTQ youth 2 blocks from my home.

    • Exactly. There’s a line between getting spoiled and acting that way…

    • I totally agree!!

    • You are absolutely right.
And these are premium quality items that are being sold at their respective retailers as we speak. Just 1 item pays for the whole box!
i have always wanted a powerful mini hair dryer with a diffuser attachment to take on the go. its 460 buckaroos. this is my first box and i paid only $29.99 . Just the super size clay mask is worth $50. this is incredible and i love every item. Cant wait for fall, i hear that seasons box is always special.

      • Just FYI that dryer is $30 at Sephora (the Sephora branded version). Nowhere near $450!

  5. Id sub for summer if I could customize. Area all customizations only for annual subs?

    • Regular subscribers can customize 3 items, annuals could do 5. You should still be able to customize if you signed up now.

  6. Hi Liz, love your spoiler posts as usual! One question though, do you not do reviews anymore? Was really hoping to see your reviews on some of the products 😬 Thanks!

  7. Why won’t my comment post?! This is the third time I’ll try saying the same thing and honestly there’s no reason it should be filtered out.
Made in China and sold in China have very different implication. Items sold in China must be tested on animals, but if an item is made in China and sold elsewhere it doesn’t need to be tested on animals.

  8. Glad I skipped this one. Not into Made in China facial sprays. Yuck. But really, none of the items really stand out to me. I would’ve picked the bowls but my local Home Goods has them for less than $3! Might just get myself a set 🙂

    • Hey, Ks — are the bowls you found at your Home Goods the West Elm brand or no? Curious because I may have to make a stop at my HG if they are! Thanks in advance. 🙂

        • They are selling them for $6.76 for Each bowl, not for a set of 4.

        • Thanks for the scoop! Looks like S, M, or L set of 4 for $6.76, $11.96, and $19.96 respectively. Not quite same quality, but still a nice dupe.

      • They are selling them at the Christmas tree shop for $6. Blue and white pattern bowl set is the search term, they are west elm, set of 4. Almost identical

        • It says they are selling them for 20

      • West Elm 🙂 I don’t remember the sizes. I think they were standard soup-bowl sizes.

        • KS and Chantel — Thank you so much! Appreciate the replies and the good shopping scoop. 🙂

  9. So annoyed with myself for renewing my annual membership. Don’t really want anything in this box, except the bowls. I’ll use the Living Proof and mask, in a year or two. Might use the hairdryer once a year. Oh, well, there’s always swapping.

    • FFF created a new option to skip a box if you had previously an annual membership! they posted about it in the community forum

    • I actually messaged customer service on live chat and they refunded me all but the price of the Summer 2019 box. Of course they tried to entice me by offering a free train case, but I really had zero push back on getting the refund. The major difference here, is that I have always been seasonal & decided to upgrade to annual only a few days ago.

  10. A little hint, at least it works for me. With all these ” toning mists” or ” refreshing sprays” that don’t provide sunscreen or a lot of any special ingredient ( they are mostly water), I keep a couple of different bottles beside my night table to spritz my hair and my feet. Keeps both fresh and feels good when the weather’s hot.

This is not to say that I do not bathe, shower, or clean my hair regularly, but that this is an extra scented mist treat I wouldn’t ordinarily use if I hadn’t gotten the bottle of facial mist spray in a sub box. If it’s safe for the face, it’s safe for the feet and hair.
Just a suggestion, if you’re getting it anyway in a box of assorted things.

    • That’s a great idea! I do feel that there is product overload of one or two types of beauty products in my life ever since I discovered sub boxes. It’s good to find alternative uses for them.

My mom uses hand creams for feet so she have extra bottles laying around. I accidently tried a facial lotion as a face wash when I mixed up 2 bottles in a new set and that worked surprisingly well!! Kept my hormonal acne down and didn’t overly dry my face out.

Anyone else have good tips on how to switch up the uses on all these extra items were might not otherwise use? (Besides the obvious swapping of course!)

      • My mom likes to use Bum Bum Cream as a face moisturizer. I got her the BIG tub for Christmas but she’s going on a cruise soon so I’m giving her the one from the box.

        • I have a teeny swap up, maybe.

It involves Invisibobbles and adding waves to your hair. IF you have long thick hair ( the only type I can attest to this working with, as that’s what I have) which has waves but not coiled curls, putting in about 5-6 invisibobbles while the hair is damp but not dry, and sitting out in the sun ( with sunscreen of course) will give you natural waves and they will last and last and last.

There’s no ” crunch” from any sprays or gels, and to me, it looks like I’ve had my hair curled professionally with a small to med. sized curling iron barrel.

I have more Invisibobbles, so I can actually do two ” bobbles” per medium sized hair section ( same sized section as one would put into a curling iron, approx).
This gives the look of cascading waves if you have long enough hair ( at least shoulder length). Put one up higher ( at least 3 inches is what I think looks naturally wavy) than the other in the same section of hair, of course.

The good thing about Invisibobbles other than the lack of marks or hair pulling when removed is that they don’t take up hair length terribly when applied.

Hopes this gives some of you ” hair-spiration”. 😉

It could also be used on a young girl, and avoid the hair pulling that happens with so many wave makers. 😉

          Lilly

          • LIlly – how do you put them in your hair to get this look? Do you make little buns or just put them in like a ponytail holder?

  11. I know we’re all a little “masked out” but I LOVE THE PURPLE CLAY MASK! YAY!

  12. Not my favorite box. I’ll be giving the Bum Bum Cream, Invisibobbles, and clay mask away. I added the tote (can’t resist it). But the bowls are what I’m really excited about. I also chose the mystery gift but I hope it’s not a lippie.

  13. I agree with much of the sentiment. Not a great box. Still love fff and will keep my subscription, but this box is meh.

  14. Rose Toning Spray must really be a thing. I think I’ll have every brand known to man after I get this one. Looks like a decent box.

  15. Disappointed! Not only because I didn’t like most of the things in this box but because there are too many repeats in the same box. If we already have a makeup setting spray as an option why put another facial spray? If there’s already sheet masks why put another clay mask item? Come on FFF you used to be better.. I had really liked the last summer box.. this one looks like they didn’t put enough thought into it..

    • I 100% agree with you. I might have made some other choices had I know what the remaining items would be! Too many of the same type of items in one box!

  16. This box is so so to me. I would like fewer beauty products.

Invisibobbles are a staple in my house. My daughter and I use them in our hair. My 3yo son on the autism spectrum uses them as sensory toys.

    • Do the hair bobbles get stuck in wavy hair? I see them in stores and don’t see how they wouldn’t knot up in my hair?? A regular hair tie gets tangled up in my hair .

      • I have long curly hair and love the bobbles. I struggle a little getting them out of a messy bun (mostly because I’m impatient) but they do not pull out any hair which is a huge deal because I also struggle with getting a regular elastic out but lots of hair comes out with those.

      • I have fine curly hair and love them! Never want to be without. They don’t pull at all, and I double them. Invisibobbles stay in place all day and I’ve even slept in one. Didn’t feel the usual tightness, and forgot I was still wearing it : )

  17. I had $10 in add on credits. I have no idea why?
Is the rose spray like a toner, anyone know?

    • yes.

      • Ladies, if you didn’t know already, keep an eye on your invoice. I just took a look at mine, and somehow what should have been $63 was $146. I spoke to someone from CS, that person told me I was the only one seeing that amount. I hope so! However, since it happened to me I thought I would pass along the info if it’s needed.

        • Also, if you had a purchase credit and add on credit, be sure they added properly. They emailed me a 10 credit for whatever reason and then a box item was to be late so they gave me a purchase credit. They are not the same thing. The Add-on credit only applys to add-ons, but a purchase credit will take money off your box. I only bought a 9 add-on item but it took my purchase credit and the add-on credit disappeared? I had to contact customer service and screenshot the email about the add-on credit (they could see the purchase credit on their end) and they fixed it, but it was a bit of a hassle and I was worried I’d be charged with only using the $6 remaining purchase credit since I talked to cs on the 16th and billing is on the 17th but, it worked out and I was only charged 35+tax. For $35 this box is pretty dang good!

    • I know that I got a $15 credit because of the delays with items from the last Edit Sale. I still haven’t received one item, they’re predicting end of May. If you ordered anything from the Edit Box, that may be why.

      • I got $10 in add on credits because I ordered the Yumi Kim bag to go with my editors box, and I guess they were temporarily out…or something. I got an additional $10 in credit for anything I wanted to use it on because my box was late getting to me, and after speaking to 5 CS agents I spoke to a supervisor, and she put it on for me.

  18. Fingers crossed for the coolant setting spray

    • You want coolant in your setting spray??????????????

      • Why not? 🤷‍♀️It’s a pretty color and keeps me from overheating.

        • Haha!

        • 😂😂😂

      • Yes me too I think it might be nice at the water park this summer…my 13yr old will probably use it all 😂

  19. This is my first FFF box, and I’m excited to try every single item! That’s pretty rare for a sub box for me!

    • I’m excited for this box too!! That kimono will be perfect for summer!! And I have my fingers crossed I get the Coola spf setting spray!! And excited to try the Bum Bum body wash ( I had to add it as an extra!! ) and I’m already in love with the star necklace. I can’t wait till it ships!

  20. I personally like this box. It’s actually the first one that I really liked in a while. Perhaps if I paid more the box, I wouldn’t be as excited. However, for $45 it’s great. I also got some pretty nice add ons.

  21. This summer box is turning into a skincare box for me… and I’m not mad about it. Got a couple add-ons that I wanted. Only hope I don’t get the clay mask in my Ipsy BGP.

    • Exactly. I LOVE it!!! It’s like a jacked up beautyfix box!!!

    • I’m huge into skincare right now so this box fits me and what skincare I don’t use will go to hubby and oldest daughter lol. I did get some practical things as well (I’m probably the only one who picked the resistance bands but they’ll be useful for my exercise routine). All in all it’s not the most “wow” box to me but it’s not horrid either. I’d rather have a box of items I can use than have a box with 2 things that wow me and the rest I won’t use.

      • I picked the resistance bands too. This is my first box and I’m excited to try everything.

        • That sounds a lot like me, plus I have 2 SIL. You’re not the only one that picked the resistance bands, I got them as well because I have osteoarthritis in my knee, and the bands help me in that area.

          • I’m so sorry I’m late getting back to you guys lol! Finals at school is killing me 😫 JennO I have osteoarthritis in my back and hips (I’ve had 5 surgeries because of it) so I feel your pain there. I’m hoping these will help with toning my back muscles and stomach muscles so I have less pain and better range of motion 🙂

  22. I have been a member of FFF since I received the Winter Editor’s box, 2017. The first box (& only) I ever skipped was this year’s Spring box. This box won me back! I am actually fairly happy with everything in the box 😊

  23. Darn I was hoping those spoilers weren’t correct 🙁
The hair ties catch my fine hair, the mask apparently has some burning, wish is well….wish meh, and while I love natural rose the spray is said to be strong fake rose!
I will still get my value out of the box as I split it with someone else but man, I was still hoping to like more than 2 items in the whole box!! (bowls and kimono for anyone wondering)

  24. I am loving this box. I don’t have a “brightening” clay mask, will either use the facial spray for a room or pillow mist or put it in the gift closet. Sandal season is here and I need the foot mask and I don’t own any Invisibobbles

  25. Why is there another face spray? I selected the Coola setting spray and now I see another facial spray. Ummmmm idk. I know they are different kinds if sprays, but I wish there was a different type of item instead.

    • I agree.

      • Just because they are delivered by a spray does not mean they are the same. The coola is for setting makeup and adding SPF. The Rose Spray is more like a toner. It does not have SPF.

        • I said that in my comment. “I know they are different TYPES of sprays, I just wish there was a different TYPE of item I. The box to make for more variety.

    • I used to be a face spray skeptic. But I had received multiples in boxes and finally tried one, as the first step in my skincare routine. I love how it helps serums and moisturizers to spread and sink in to my skin. Maybe the rose spray will work for you, too 🤞🏻

      • I’m not a fan of face sprays. SPF should be rubbed in. Toner should be swiped with a cotton pad. Neither performs to their full benefit by spraying on!

        • Completely agree with you on that one

          • Living where I do sprays aren’t permitted, and if a lifeguard or beach patrol saw you using one, your bottle would be taken and trashed, and you’d be fined up, usually somewhere around the $50. Of course that’s only if you’re at the beach and getting in the ocean. You would think that only applies to aerosol, but no it doesn’t.

      • I was a skeptic, too! Used to stick face sprays in my beauty closet and forget about them until K Beauty. Sheet Mask instructions always mention it’s helpful to apply toner right before sheet masking, which has become an EOD meditation technique for me. However, instead of applying toner with a cotton pad, which seems to tighten my pores, I’ll use a face spray (if the ingredients are appropriate) or put toner in a mister, lightly spritz and immediately apply a sheet mask while pores are ‘open’. For me, results are better. Hubby started using my sprays after working in the yard and such, so now I keep one in the fridge for him : )

  26. Once again this box has let me down . I buy annually and then the boxes start to go downhill and there’s nothing I can do. I most definitely will not be doing that again. No hero item, just a bunch of things I have no use for thx fff

    • Exactly what I’m was thinking. I did the annual and paid up front. The boxes seem to be repeating themselves. I mean how many robes can we choose from. Summer box is my last one before my renewal comes up in fall. I’ve decided not to renew this subscription and just buy things I like made in America from now on. 😁

  27. I find their boxes dull but good value. If I ever get out from my product overload I plan to get an annual.

  28. I’m actually really excited. I won a giveaway so this box was free. I added some stuff as well as add-ons. Overall I think the box is balanced and cant wait to receive it. This will be my first box

    • Congratulations. Fabfitfun is one of my favorite subscription boxes. I sure you’ll love it.

    • Congrats!! <3 IMO this is a great box, esp to start with, despite what people are saying.

  29. This box is lackluster for me, probably my last fff box. I’m continuing the sub because I got all the add Ons I really wanted. But I’m in product overload, so I think I’m good

  30. Liz, the Kimono looks so much better on you than the models. I like it open and loose, like the kimono Rachel Zoe did a couple of years ago ( I guess?) that was black with the pretty colored flowers- definitely prettier open or it looks like a nightwear robe. 😉

This one is the same, and seeing you model it makes me want one.
All in all, I got everything I wanted, paid $39 for the box w/o customizations and they let me do the annual membership customization because I paid for a year’s membership AFTER buying this box. ( Yay, a price break on the Summer box).

I got every add on I really, really wanted, would only have added the SDJ Acai cream in the large size, but got 3 travel sized jars and it’s still cheaper than 1 large size at regular price.

Some fun things and good prices in the Add Ons, IMO. 😉

    • That BOS kimono was last spring….I’m not a fan of their customer service (or lackthereof) however the quality of that kimomo was about 1000 times better than what this FFF one looks like. I agree it looks odd on the models (nothing against them, just an odd looking robe…I agree the way Liz is wearing it looks bettwr).

  31. I don’t get excited over subscription boxes anymore, I’ve gotten so many. I look for usability. And I will use everything in this box. It’s a total win for me.

    • I recommend you to take a break for at least 3 months. I have only just started getting boxes again and the formerly waning excitement has returned full force. I was in your position not so long ago, took a year off from all ( i did geta box here or there) and I am really loving the boxes I get again. The excitement is the best part!!

      • I used to get excited over TestTube, it was one of the best skincare boxes out there, and for the price it couldn’t be beaten. However, it’s become so popular now that for me it’s just meh, and I’ve found a new skincare box that’s just as amazing, and it isn’t that well known. That isn’t to say I don’t get TestTube anymore, I do it’s just lost the excitement.

        • So what’s the new skincare box you are excited about? 😃

          • I thought I’d reply since you seemed interested in newer boxes. Have you tried Facetory Lux Plus Quarterly box? They started Monthly, and just moved to Quarterly. It’s a higher end K Beauty box. I have sensitive skin, rosacea and cystic acne and everything passes my personal CosDNA criteria every month : ) I’m new to K Beauty and not a fan of Joahbox or Beauteque because of lesser quality products. Facetory Lux Plus is skincare focused, so good for those overloaded with makeup. Cheers!

    • Me too. We burn our selves out with the sub addictions and fomo LOL I cancelled all my subs except Birchbox and FFF bc they’re on annual.. But I do love them bc of the customization and add on’s. So for me it’s worth the prices bc it’s products I picked thus will use.. but the only box I actually get excited for anymore is FFF 🙂 I order so much extra stuff since it’s only 4 times a year that it’s like Christmas every time a box shows up LOL

  32. I’m glad I skipped this box the only thing I was interested in are the bowls and the SDJ which I had already ordered on their website they had a huge sale and I got four things for 25 bucks. No FOMO for me

  33. This summer box is ok still worth the $50 but it’s not as good as last summer box 2018 the clay mask isn’t even full size and the tote should be one of those things that come In every box

    • The clay mask is actually the bigger version not the one that it was linked to. If you check the size it was linked to the smaller one but it’s the $49 one.

I could never see another Whish item and be happy though. I’ve tried their body wash, shaving cream, and everything is lackluster.

      • 100% agree about Whish.

    • Actually, it looks like the clay mask is larger than the normal full size version (100g vs 60g).

      • Ok good

    • Yeah the clay mask is the bigger version than the jar. I just hope I don’t get the jar in my Ipsy GBP this month too since that’s been spoiled for them. I love the pink one made by them, so I’m hoping to like this one too. I’ve been more into brightening masks lately instead of just detox.

  34. I got the “Restore Balm” in Test Tube and pretty sure the Clay Mask will be in my Ipsy GBP, and with my luck I will end up with my 8th EyeCo Black liner 🙁

    • Oh yes, I already predict I’m getting the eyeliner! And the balm! Seems like Canadians get the lighter (and cheaper) selections!

  35. Could someone please add on the bowls and sell them to me? Super please?

    • I love that the Rose Facial Mist directions note to spray on face WITH EYES CLOSED, lol!

      • Sorry, didn’t mean to reply to you.

    • Go to West Elm online and you can buy them yourself!

    • There on auction, you know where right now.

  36. Liz, can you tell us where the purple clay mask is made? I like the foot mask and invisobobbles, but the rose spray is made in China! Ugh! I don’t use beauty products made in China!

    • I don’t use items made in China either.

      • Can you share why? Concern with ingredients?

        • Likely due to consumers thinking that items that are produced in China are not cruelty free, but this is a misnomer. Items produced AND sold in China cannot be cruelty free because china requires animal testing. But items produced and NOT sold in China CAN be cruelty free because they are not required to test on animals.

          • For me, it’s ethical reasons. Labor laws in China are laughable. Quality control is inexistent. Time and time again we are finding out that our products were made in horrible conditions with horrible ingredients. There are some things, like textiles and certain metals, that are very difficult to produce in US. But makekup and skincare? You are basically voting with your dollar to line the pockets of a borderline-slavemaster instead of supporting companies that contribute to local economy.

        • They are a Communist country, definitely not concerned about us. There have been problems with them in the past- lead in jewelry, dogs and cats died because there was melamine in the pet food. I don’t trust them.

          • Very true. Claire’s had to recall a whole line of jewellery as it was found to have toxic levels of lead paint.

Dog and cat products do not have the same requirements so there is a brand of dog treats that cause early death. It’s a slow death over months, years. My vet told me and puts up signs everywhere. FDA doesn’t apply to pet products. Never buy pet consumables made in China.

They have found plastic pellets in rice for fillers. Not toxic, but I don’t want plastic in my rice!

So if lead paint ended up in a well known company, makes one wonder about eating off painted dishes…they do not act upon it until there is a problem or fatality as in the case of those poor babies drinking poisonous milk products. To this day, many countries refuse to import milk products made in China.

Also there have been studies showing traces of human urine, mice feces – not detectable to the human eye and you prob won’t get sick, but…

I’m not going to be a guinea pig…maybe fine, maybe not.

          • Well I’m not worried about their being Communist but definitely their quality control is nonexistent – I would NEVER spray anything made in China on my face!

        • Weird I guess my comment got filtered out for some reason. But I only commented on the different of being made in China vs sold in China…

        • The sad thing about the use of labor in China is that Americans and other 1st world countries own many businesses there and take full advantage.

    • I know and I am super pale and don’t need brightening. Not everyone needs that. I will give that to my mom. I won’t use the face spray because I don’t use the 1 face spray I have. My makeup stays on enough what do I need that for. I like the invisabobbles and foot mask. They should’ve done more of a home item for the other two. What about a nice frame, a vase or a candle. They always give so many skin care items I won’t use.

      • I agree. I get so much makeup and skincare from my other subs. I wish there were more home/decor or practical useful items in the box

    • I had the same concern.
I Googled images of the product and all the pics showed “Made in Australia” so I’m feeling good about it.
Hope that helps some of you!

    • I just want to share a fact with everyone. If you buy the So Susan bag, or if you use the brands under the So Susan umbrella of brands, the lip products are ” fabrique en China”.
Obviously, a fancy way of saying ” Made in China”.

I could never prove this with the posters here, but this month, I finally can. Look at the latest So Susan review. Meghan has photographs which are clear enough to read the ” Fabrique in China” tiny statement of origin very well. They don’t mean only the container, it is inclusive for the product.

Some of these products show up in Ipsy bags and I saw one or two Beauty Crop items in the FFF add on products.

As for why buying anything consumable or that’s being applied to or near our mucus membranes made in China is a bad idea, Google will give you the facts. 🙂

      • “Fabrique en China” is the French way of saying “made in China.

    • I will not use cosmetics or skincare made in China or Taiwan.

  37. I’m definitely intrigued by the 24k gold/$100+ mask and I wouldn’t mind the kimono but otherwise, it’s meh for me. How many masks and facial sprays does a girl need? I have quite a few and hardly ever reach for them. I wish these items were part of the choice. I chose not to renew my annual membership but I will definitely be looking to swap for that kimono. And maybe the the foot mask…although that sounds like a mess that I might not be up for.

    • The masks got horrible reviews on a number of different (non-manufacturer‘s) websites.

      • Really? Which site? I was looking for reviews and I found some reviews on the Nordstrom website which has 19 reviews and they’re not bad. I’ve seen reviews on dermstore/amazon/etc and the poor reviews are based on price, which I would totally agree with. I would NEVER spend $160 on these, but I would spend $15 on them.

I was trying to find bad reviews to talk me out of the $15 add on price, but I didn’t find any.

        • I’ve used them before and I love the masks ur gonna enjoy them! Ur skin will glow

        • I love these masks too! This brand is so nice. I bought these from Net A Porter and I’m very happy to have more!

        • I checked out the ingredients on CosDNA and decided against them. However, everyone has different skin concerns, and it’s a helpful tool but not a bible. I have learned a lot about ingredients through research starting with the CosDNA website and just how many non-experts post incorrect skin care information/blogs on Google!

    • I agree I hate everything in this box! It’s all being given away! What a waste of money!!

  38. Easy pass and no FOMO. Here’s to two BeautyFix boxes instead!

  39. Great Deal for $45.00 (annual subscriber) Liking all the beauty products this month.

  40. Yeah, I think it’s really good this time around. What got me was the tote – for some reason, it just floats my boat and I’m dying to get my hands on it. I mean, we’re talking 50 bucks for a lot of really, really good products, so I can’t complain. If I don’t like something I’ll gift it – after all, these products make really nice gifts. There are so many lousy boxes out there, this is still one of the best, IMHO. In FFF’s case, you get a lot more than you paid for, so what’s to complain about?

  41. Nothing exciting to me more disappointed than anything.

  42. I am in the camp that loves Invisibobbles! My silly pro tip is when they get all stretched out just to put them in hot water for a minute or so and they shrink back to their original size. Is this box exciting? Not so much. BUT, I will use every single item and that makes it a win.

    • Thanks for the tip!!very useful.

    • Awesome tip! Thanks!

    • If you’re lazy like me, you can also just put the handle of your brush in the centre of the invisibobble to keep it from flying off the countertop and heat it up for a few seconds with your hair dryer. Back to good as new in under ten seconds! Hot water might be better for them though?

    • great tip! I actually threw them away before today… 🙁 I will try it!!!

    • Thanks for the tip! I cry when I have to throw one out : )

  43. I feel like I have gotten this Generation Clay mask from like 3 other boxes. The rest of the items are great though.

  44. Mask OK but I have plenty. Have never used a facial mist. Foot cream good. Full up on bobbles and not impressed with them anyway. Tempted to skip but I like my add-ons.

  45. I think overall it’s a great box! I love being able to choose most of the items. I will use almost everything and what I can’t use will be easily gifted. I still managed to spend $150 in add ons even though my drawers and closets are overflowing with products. I hope they never stop selling Spongelles in add ons.

  46. UGH LOVING FFF this round!! I had picked up seasonal boxes in the past but recently became “annual” so I could actually access the sales and get more customization- SO glad I did!! I was already beyond happy with this summer box (with the custom picks, $7 category extra’s AND the sale add on’s, I am getting) So these bonus products were a nice surprise I didn’t know we got on top of all that! I live for Invisabobbles. I have really thick, heavy, course curly hair and these are the only things that don’t rip it out or give me headaches! I buy them constantly, so I am THRILLED to see them in the box! I can’t even with this box- seriously more excited for this than I have been for a box in a LOOOOOOONG time LOL Thank you FFF #Winning

  47. I am not really excited about this box. Facial sprays have been in a number of boxes and one of the other choices in this box is for a facial spray. AND REALLY, another mask? Even the non-cosmetic items look sub par. Only thing I really like are the tote and bowls and we have to choose between them.

  48. The rest of the spoilers are not exciting for me. Out of all four none of them excite me. I can’t stand those invisibobble things. Actually out of all the items the only four things that excite; the towel, SJD, the tote, and the face masks. And two of them I had to pay an extra $15 each for. I am thinking about skipping this one. I wonder if it’s too late.

    • I just cancelled. I think you need to do it today. There was just nothing in the box that I actually wanted and most items I thought I wouldn’t even try. Glad to be able to have the choice to cancel. But I think it’s great that some people love the box. Obviously they can’t please everyone each time.

  49. You rocked the robe better than the models. FFF should hire you as their in house model.

  50. For $50 I’m happy.

    • You know…this is a good comment and how I feel about the box many times. Is it the most spectacular ever? No. Is it worth 50 bucks to me? Yeah.

      • I love fabfitfun and it’s products. I keep asking for red lipsticks and fingernail polishes!!!!
