  1. Did anyone else upgrade from seasonal to annual using the MSA 4/16 link for a $10 add-on credit? If so, did you get the credit? I’m really starting to think that it was not a legit offer.

  3. I give up on them and saving my money. The mystery boxes I had before the glitch were not saved so disappointed.

    • Same here! None of my mystery bundles saved either! I’ve refreshed over and over and have had zero luck getting them.

  6. I guess I’m a lucky one. I had 10 items in my cart and I was able to add a few more. Went back and whittled it down tonight. I’m definitely getting the crown brush set, the Good Patch Nite Nite pack of 8, and both of the JJ Young Pore masks.

    I am on the fence with the underwater camera and the water bottle. I do have a beach trip coming up, but I’m debating whether I really need it or whether it would be worth it. With the bottle, it’s pretty but I doubt it keeps water cold for long, so I don’t think I’ll be getting it.

    Hi everyone,

    Add-ons are now live for Select members. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience as we fixed the technical issues with the sale.

    Yesterday, we let you all know we’d reserve one quantity of each item(s) you selected. We were able to do this on a first come first serve basis, so many of you should see items that you had selected in your carts today. There was a huge volume of activity within minutes of the sale opening which resulted in some items being sold out before we could add for everyone. We were able to reserve for only those who added first.

    Secondly, during the sale, it’s possible you might have clicked on items and unintentionally added them to your cart. Please make sure to review your cart before the sale ends to make sure you only selected items you intend to purchase.

    Additionally, one of the issues faced yesterday was that a few products were showing up in the sale that were not intended for the sale. (Either we don’t have inventory, or the item was from a past sale). Today, this has since been fixed, allowing you to only see the items that are currently available for Summer add-ons. We apologize for any confusion.

    We realize there are a few other minor issues with the experience, though everyone should be able to add or remove the items as usual. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Care team if you have any questions or need help adding/removing items that are in stock. They are working hard to help and get your questions answered as best they can.

    We will continue to monitor the site today and review your comments here on the forum. Thank you again for being patient with us.

    • This is exactly how I feel too.. ALSO, they should not have emailed everybody telling us that we would have one of everything in our carts that was previously there. I think that’s why a lot of people are frustrated. We were guaranteed at least one of what we already had in our carts and a a lot of subscribers are mad because there was nothing there, only to be told these items were already sold out. I’m
      probably doing add ons anymore.. that and how could there possible be so many items “sold out” right when add ons opened the first time? This whole thing is a mess.. I wonder is they are planning on doing anything to make it better? Probably not.

    • I’m not getting this box so I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I’m confused as to how they thought they could successfully reserve several items for several people after the sale went live. That seems to run contradictory to the definition of “reserve.” If they didn’t have the capacity to reserve items before the sale opened again, then it just seems like a bad idea to make a promise like that.

      • I think “reserve” was a poor choice of words on their part. What they meant was…people added items to their carts yesterday when the sale opened, but there were all sorts of of website problems and they closed down the site, to basically start over today. So, they attempted to honor the items people had chosen yesterday…but in singular. As example…I attempted to add 3 of a particular item; when I logged into the site today, only ONE of that item was in my cart…so, FFF “reserved” 1 of each item I had added for me…but only 1…items I had added multiples of, they only “saved” one for me. But…so many people were on right away that many items ran out right away. So what they are saying is while they attempted to save 1 of each item people had added, in the case where they ran out of stock, the saves were done on the basis of who added the item first.

      • Yes, I understand that. I’m just can’t help but wonder why they thought they would be able to honor that promise after the sale went live and the influx of shoppers came in.

    Can you find out of the sponsored extra automatically signs us up for fff style?

    So happy. With how expensive it’s gotten it’s so easy to keep my cart under a hundred.

    • Now that you mention it… I wonder why I forgot to ask that when I contact CS by chat.
      I only asked whether adding it will cause any charge by FFF style & he basically said “No, you’ll get the welcome kit (the note book + measurement tape)”
      I was assuming no charge = no subscription sign up. It never crossed my mind that there might be a free trial for first box.

  10. Instead of spending any more time or energy on this mess, I canceled my annual sub that was up for renewal and ordered the Sunday Riley travel box, and two Glossybox Mother’s Day boxes with the BOGO code.

    • I think the Tony Moly monthly bundles are really fun!

    I ordered three last add on sale and want to complete the set. I don’t want to look in add ons if it’s not there and be tempted to buy a bunch of stuff I don’t need haha

  12. I am super frustrated with FFF! I was on there right at the stroke of 900am PST yesterday and then they crashed! I had like 15 items in my cart (well more as they were all doubled due to the issue) well they were supposed to keep 1 of each item in all our carts. That didn’t happen for me and I was once again on there right as it reopened and they had more issues and the second it was fixed I was on and well my items were not there and they were all sold out! Super disappointed and have no desire to do the add ons ever again

    • Same thing, I was on at 9am – site crash. On again today at 9am- 504 code; site closed. On at 9:45am- site finally live but half of everything was ‘sold out’. No clue how or why, but I didn’t get the things I was after. AkA whole point of annual subbing..

      Seasonal’s, brace yourself if this is how dirty they’re doing annual’s SMH just don’t expect anything this round and you won’t be disappointed.. Seriously the Frye Festival of sub boxes right now.

      Well see how customization goes tomorrow morning *fingers crossed*

    • Me too! Products that were in my cart yesterday were gone and were now listed as sold out- and I was on within the first 15 minutes. Not cool!

    • Same here. Not all my items were there. And of course they’re sold out now. Really frustrating. This fiasco is a glitch I get but there were also supply issues with the last edit sale as well. They couldn’t get the items they had for sale from vendors.

  13. Am I the only one who has found Summer & Rose products are not good quality? They are beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve had so many issues with their bags and clothing. Eh or miss for sure. Wondering if others had experiences with that

    • I gifted that ceramic dish as a birthday present, since it’s not my taste. I thought it was overpriced.

    • Yes! I bought a Summer and Rose weekender bag. It was beautiful but the zipper broke almost immediately and the bag as a hassle the whole trip. I threw it away the second I got home.

    • agree. my S&R hardly worn sunnies broke. I avoid S&R.

    • Yes, the quality is really bad. I had weekender bag and zipper broke first time I used. I swap for stripped canvas tote, first time I used handle totally ripped off and zipper was not stitched to the bad. The bag just felt rotten and was falling apart. I throw it away.

  14. Has anyone used Luxie brushes? I could use some new brushes, but I hear if you’re sensitive they smell and I am.

    • They get sent a lot in sub boxes so I’ve used them a lot. I would say they are in the middle range as far as quality. I am sensitive to smells and have never noticed an odor from these brushes. Hope that helps.

  15. I was able to get most of what I wanted. There were a couple things missing from my cart that I know I selected yesterday but oh well. I think FFF has gotten so big and they are having some difficulty managing the masses. I hope they can work out their website glitches, shipping issues, and over selling Add Ons. It’s a fun sub and one of the few I’ve kept.

  18. Hey I never saw the beauty blender cleanser? Is it in our box? Or add ons. Also it says they r open for me but I cant see anything but I have alot in my cart I need to fix and stuff to add lol 🙂 can anyone help 🙂

    • I have one in my cart for $11 for a 10 oz bottle. It says hurry a few left but am unable to add more than one of any item to my cart.

      • I had three of those in my cart yesterday…when it was messed up. They dropped me down to 1, and then when I went to get at least one more, they’re sold out. It’s a great product and I should just be happy with 1…but I understand the frustration of yesterday.

      • I’d like to get one more for my daughter. Hope they fix it soon. I can’t add or remove anything.

  19. Has anyone used the z skin products for acne? Looking to purchase for my daughter but wondering how well it works. Any input is appreciated.

    • Used one or 2 from Birchbox and they did absolutely nothing for me.

    • Yes! They’re incredible! Absolutely saved my skin, nothing else has ever worked before. I’ve been a customer for a while and have never seen them in Birchbox, maybe it was a different brand?

  20. I am definitely missing a bunch of items from yesterday. So definitely did not get at least 1 of each item I choose. But I guess I didn’t really need them. Their loss really. As I would’ve bought a TON more. At least I got what I REALLY wanted. The toothpastes… Definitely wasted a ton of time and was way too frustrating. Hopefully they do something special for everyone. I’ve been a member since the 3rd box and I’m getting more and more frustrated and definitely less likely to renew

  21. My cart was wiped out completely.
    Now I’m locked out until
    LAST February
    Unless I upgrade. I’m already annual. February has come and gone. They aren’t even acknowledging the problem.
    I cannot recommend FFF

    • I’ve been trying to upgrade for 6.5 hours. I have done the chat 3x and called my bank 3x. It’s not my bank. Apparently, FFF doesn’t want our $$!
      Wishing I had renewed and stayed annual rather then go to seasonal. They aren’t the most compatent CS

I’ve never been upset with fabfitfun, but when the site crashed, I got an email that said I would be reserved one of each of the items that were previously in my cart, I checked when it was back, and not only do I NOT have any of the items I already put in my cart, but those items were already sold out. So dumb..

  23. My cart does not contain one of each item I had yesterday. As has been mentioned, they need to stop expanding and fix the basics. I anticipate many erroneous orders. Many.

    • Yep. 2 of the things I was most excited about are gone now and sold out. As I’ve said in other comments on these posts, oh well…guess they helped me save a bunch of money because the excitement is kind of worn off now. LOL.

    • Mine either. And now one of the items I really wanted is sold out. Not pleased.

  24. Anyone else notice items missing since yesterday? Not at the bottom in sold out or above where still available?

    • Yes, something that were there yesterday are not there at all. Not even in the sold out part.

    • I forgot about the sale starting until after they shut it down on Monday so I’m not sure what was being offered but, *I think* FFF addressed the missing items in their most recent statement. Hope that helps!

  26. Be careful adding things. I am unable to remove any items from my cart. Everything is limited to one. No more no less.

    • Wow! Just wow!

    • They may have that fixed. I just removed a few items from mine, and increased the item left from qty. 1 to 2.

      Then again, I may go back in later and find I have 0 items in my cart. Or 32 items. It’s hard to tell.
