    Aragonite

Good to know: These crystals are around 1.5 inches long.

So I actually went to a local rock show the weekend right before this package arrived. I brought home a big piece of Aragonite because I had never seen one before. Then I open my Enchanted Crystal box a few days later and what greets me? The SAME stone! Nuts! The universe is crazy. I adore the color and shapes of these stones though, so I am happy to have more than a few. Each one has this incredible starburst explosion shape and a delightful mix of clear and rust color. The tips of each “burst” are flat, and catch the light, making them shine and sparkle. From Morocco, these beauties require no mining and are often produced by living creatures similar to the way pearls are formed.

Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.

Good to know: These are generally no more than an inch long.

      Amethyst Shards

I feel like I received a few of these before, but they are quite interesting so I don’t mind more, especially as a bonus. These are raw and not super shiny, but still beautiful and fascinating. Amethyst is a variety of quartz that is closely tied to spirituality and protection. It is also a stone many people equate with riches and royalty, due to that pretty purple color.

        Rose Quartz

Also included was a soft pink tumbled piece of rose quartz, a  stone known for enhancing healing and nurturing love and affection.

          Grey Agate

I really like this agate because the grey color is lovely and the banding is prominent. Like the rose quartz, this one is also tumbled smooth.

Verdict: Enchanted Crystal somehow read my mind regarding that Aragonite! How crazy is it that I just bought one a few days before?? I think pieces like this are exactly what make this subscription great because they are unusual, beautiful, and come with educational info! I also thought the little bonus crystals this month were lovely and liked the variety. This continues to be one of my favorite subs and is a no-brainer for someone who collects rocks, crystals, or minerals.

I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

          1. So pretty and unusual. It reminds me a bit of a honeycomb.

            • I totally see that! They really are so cool.
