Hi, I’m new to Boxy Charm. So, if I upgrade to Boxy Luxe, do I get billed $28.99 in addition to the $21 monthly subscription? Thank you
yes, this is in addition but you are paying around $50 for over $300 worth of products generally. hope this helps =)

I just received an email that we will be able to customize one of our items for the June Boxyluxe box!!
Which item?
You’ll be able to choose between the tarte blush/highlight pallet and a tarte/boxycharm limited edition eyeshadow pallet. I chose the eyeshadow. I’ve got a ton of blushes through BC in the past few months.
I am new to Boxy, and so I am wondering if you are getting your first Boxyluxe is there still a regular boxy for that same month? Can you still get that regular box as well as the luxe? Thanks for any help 🙂
With luxe, 4 months of the year you’ll get the larger box and that takes place of the usual smaller one. I don’t think you can get both the reg and luxe in the same month unless you created another profile or something.
I upgraded! These spoilers are great, and I’ll be able to use all of these items. Hopefully the remaining spoilers are good too!
I’m confused about this. If you upgrade to this do you also get the monthly box or only the quarterly one?
No. You will get the boxyluxe box instead of the boxycharm box.
You only get the upgraded boxyluxe. So basically you pay $21 + $28 and get a combined box.
I like the spoilers so far. I think it’s going to be a great box.

I just re subscribed for May (not liking it at all except the glamglow) to make sure I get Luxe in June, I’m personally excited for the 2 great skincare and the hair dryer, I will be so disappointed if they sub these items out or they are in the regular June box too
What are the two attachments?

This I definitely wanted to look up for sure to make sure the hair dryers werent variants. But my FFF box has a marble one. Idk which one I want xD
This “luxe” box is officially stressing me out because all it does is pile loads of junk into my life quarter after quarter…I need to cancel and stop the madness.
If I have boxycharm and I want to get luxe, do I get one or 2 boxes on June?
If you upgrade to a luxe subscription, in June you will get one box, and it will be the larger Boxyluxe box. You will not receive the standard $21 Boxycharm June box. (The Boxyluxe box will likely include several of the items featured in the regular $21 box.)

I get the boxycharm but I’m thinking of upgrading to luxe. Would I get both boxes in June or just one?
You’ll receive 1 box, the Boxyluxe box if you upgrade which usually contains a few (but not all) of the items from the regular box.
I canceled Boxy last month and this isn’t bringing me back. Do people still travel with hair dryers? I just use the one in the hotel (granted, I have short hair so I’m not picky). Honeymoon Glow is nice but the other products would end up swapped which has been my problem with Boxy in general – too much stuff to get rid of. (And I don’t trust them to not sneak in variants).
Not all hotels have hair dryers. The motel we visit every year in Maine doesn’t have one, plus there are plenty of times in my life where I’ve stayed places that didn’t have hair dryers when I wanted one (like the hospital in Feb when I had my baby).
My mini hair dryer is one of the best things I’ve spent $10 on! It never even leaves my travel bag.
I went this weekend without blow brying my hair because the hair dryer included at the motel looked like I would get sick if I touched it. I also need a new one anyway, so I am SUPER excited! This would also make a great gift or maybe swap it for something else 🙂
Does anyone know when they actually put new items in the charm shop? It seems to be just randomly done because I’ve been checking every day and I’ve missed Elemis and Sunday Riley this week alone. It’s very frustrating having to stalk their website just to spend the $102 in charms that I have collected.
I know I missed them to. Think they just add when they feel like it.
I am on excited about the Farmacy. Boxycharm has a huge trust issue. I don’t trust anything they say. They come out saying “All Charmers are receiving this amazing product” and in less than 24 hours it is a variation. Plus everything is now becoming a variation. Plus, they totally don’t care about the regular box on Luxe Months. It is a complete after thought or it feels that way.
I agree with you about them forgetting the regular box in luxe months. The spring luxe spoilers left me cold so I cancelled that and just got the regular box, which arrived March 31. I got the regular box quite early for April and May, so maybe they are trying to make it up to me.

I’m definitely hoping to buy a blush palette off someone who gets the box and isn’t into it so I don’t have to pay retail! I’ve been way into blush lately (but not enough so that I need the REST of the stuff, ’cause I’ve still got so many little tubes to work through this year! Lol)

If I get the regular boxycharm and i want to upgrade to luxe, do I get both boxes or just one?
At first when I saw the dryer I was a bit bummed because I already have a really great one but then I realized it was a travel dryer and get SUPER excited because I have never had one for travel and always get stuck using either the really crappy hotel ones or lugging my clunky full sized one. I’m actually really excited about this box aside from the blush…I don’t use it since I have naturally rosy cheeks but it will go to a good home!
Couldn’t help myself I resubscribed after not getting boxy for like a year. This is the first time I’ve actually liked every spoiler so far. Hopefully I can get it and I’m not on a waitlist until the following luxe box!
I really love everything here, but I just can’t get myself to sub to lux. Saving all the good stuff for the lux and leaving so many variant/throw away products in the monthly. It seems really dishonest and shady on their end. If I wasn’t subbed 3 months at a time they would’ve lost me last month (jan-march was ok, but since then its been going downhill). added GBP this month, I love ipsy’s customer service and I hope that works out better and I don’t end up with a palette of glitter and products to dark for my skin like boxy lol
I would love to swap for the blush palette (the one with more pinks) and a purple hair dryer if anyone is interested.
I cancelled a while ago, my question is when do I need to subscribe to FOR SURE get this June Boxyluxe? Do I resubscribe now for the May box to be promised this June Luxe box?

I am so excited for a new hairdryer! I haven’t bought a new one in… 15 years? It actually still works fine, but it’s ugly as heck and the finish on it is peeling and sticky somehow. I knew being cheap would pay off! LOL! I am really loving everything in this box so far! 🙂
The dryer is pretty! I don’t use heat on my hair unless someone’s getting married 😂 I still like to keep a dryer on hand

I’m so torn with Boxy lately. Just when I think I’m ready to cancel I see the boxyluxe spoilers. I have been really unhappy with the normal monthly boxes but have been enjoying my Boxyluxe boxes. Any other long term subscribers feel like they are saving all the good box items for luxe months?
Me too! Although I skipped the March Luxe… just wasn’t feeling it. I re-subbed to Luxe as soon as it sold it out so I’d be top of the list for June. Looking interesting so far.
YES! I have been subscribed for 3.5 years. Last month I seriously considered canceling, but I liked all the spoilers for Luxe and I had over $30 in charms to spend. I was lucky enough to grab the Sunday Riley toner in the charm room yesterday, so I have decided to cancel after this next luxe box.
I completely agree..I have been so disappointed the past few months that I have given myself til June’s Boxyluxe to cancel my subscription.. December was the last great box I feel and it’s been all downhill ever since..
So far I’m impressed with what I see for June.
Are there any details on this dryer? I’d like to compare it to the one on FFF. The dryer was my first choice in FFF but now it might not be…
Oh and I searched on line and couldn’t find it.

Does anyone know if you can sub to BoxyLuxe now, or is there a waitlist for this? I’m intrigued, but don’t want to sub and miss the Luxe box.
Yosef did say in his post that those who upgrade will receive this, but you will need to stay active for May and june. When you sign up, it will put you on the waitlist but as long as you get May and your card is charged successfully for both months, they will take you off the list.
Hopefully others will weigh in, but I think you have to sub before they charge for BoxyLuxe on June 1st. However, I think that means you’ll definitely get the May box as well. I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone (yet) subbing the month of the BoxyLuxe box, and getting the Luxe box. Hopefully you can though!

I just signed up for the first time and upgraded to luxe. I got a confirmation email that I’m at the front of the line and will be getting the Luxe in June so long as I can be charged.
You can try…. i was waitlisted for 2 mnths prior to getting my first subscription. They will not bill you.. until you are for sure. Both boxycharm and boxyluxe are great values… i tried to buy subscriptions for girls @ work for Christmas but was shot down. Good luck.

Happy for this one. I travel a ton for work and they PYT flat iron, as tiny as it is, works surprisingly well on my thick but fine hair. And now I don’t need the FFF 2nd item upgrade. Yay!
