Cascade Shooting Star - Buy 10 g for $3.00

I love any tea that has toasted rice because it is such an interesting roasty flavor for a tea. This is an especially unique blend because those toasted, earthy notes are blended with tropical fruity tones and loads of greenery. This one is unlike any other tea I have ever had and if you love super unusual and slightly odd teas, this is a winner!

Black Mate Morning - Buy 50 g for $13.00

I adored this blend. The scent alone is enough to bring a smile to my face! It smells like dried sweetgrass and hay, and spring. It was a complex blend of lemons, mint, and dried sweet greens. It is also a great way to really boost your caffeine energy in the middle of the day.

Dream Raspberry Cream - Buy 50 g for $8.00

I was very impressed by how natural and authentic the raspberry flavor was in this blend. So many teas get it wrong! This berry is super soft and mild, and much more aromatic than actually sweet. I plan on also trying this iced. It would lend itself well to a lemon slice!

Dusk - Buy 50 g for $11.00

This pretty yellow tea gets that happy color from the included turmeric. This was by far the most medicinal tea this month, and it had a very herbal vibe to it, along with its smooth mouthfeel. Although it was very mild, this Ayurveda inspired brew does contain ginger, which blended exceptionally well with the turmeric and lemongrass.

Verdict: Amoda Tea tends to send such beautiful teas. I recommend using clear glass to enjoy them because the brewing visuals are almost as wonderful as the teas themselves. I actually loved all 4 teas sent this month, though if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Mate. The curation this month was very well rounded, no two teas were very alike!  This is a great sub for the tea lover who cherishes unique, small-batch blends.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

This is the best tea box in my opinion. I really do need to get a clear tea cup Megan to enjoy the brewing. I order the low/caff. herbal box so I can enjoy an afternoon or evening cup. I thought I never liked herbal teas until I tried this box. Bagged boxes from mass produced brands are not the same. I didn’t even think I liked green tea either! Amazing what freshness of blends can do!

I just received the most amazing 100% glass one in the Journeebox. I can’t enjoy tea without it now and need like 5 more. Fresh tea is absolutely so different than the mass big boxed variety. If you love this, check our Field to Cup too, as they are another favorite!
