I adore Wayne Goss and I have been treating myself to his brushes which are fabulous. I assume they are exclusive with Beautylish which is why he couldn’t include in this box.
However, this box is an easy pass for me since there just isn’t enough “real” value in the items being offered. ND eye shadow is great but I don’t need “camel” colors and I have an ample supply of blush including Orgasm – does anyone NOT have Orgasm by now? LOL. For the rest, I can purchase exactly the high end skin care I want for $180 paying that amount for a “bundle” makes no sense.
It’s an interesting business model as I imagine there must be a market for people who are willing to spend this much to someone else’s choices when they can use that money to get exactly what they want.
But then, I am also confused by the expensive lifestyle boxes as well – I don’t want someone else picking out my jewelry; tchotchkes or accessories and paying a relatively high amount for the “surprise”.
With my other beauty boxes (including the relatively expensive ones like Boxyluxe or Glam Bag Plus), there are always enough items that I actually want/like/need to recoup the price and then I just give away whatever I don’t want or need.
As I wrote, I adore Wayne Goss and just wish he had come out with a box that made more economic sense. I am still waiting for the eye shadows he announced a few months ago. When I saw he had a box, I was hoping it was in conjunction with their release.
