  1. Luna! I also need to know everything about your skincare routine and your storage and use of all the products. How do you keep organized and go through it all?

    • Lol! Well, thanks to my boxes, my skincare routine is forever changing. Fortunately, I have very resilient skin (so far) so it doesn’t react negatively to the constant changing. As for storage, I started out with those IKEA cube shelves (I have a 25-cube & 8-cube unit) and my room looked like a cute little pop-up shop with everything displayed all prettily, but now I think it’s grown to feeling like a stock room for a pop up shop! lol! I’m pretty anal when it comes to keeping it all organized. Everything’s grouped by type of product & size (i.e. sample packets, deluxe samples, and full size). Some of the types are even grouped by type of container (i.e. tub, tube, or bottle), and everything *must* face out with the largest items in back moving forward to the smallest items in front. As for using it all… one day at a time. 😉

  2. I’ve found that Tatcha lacks quite a bit on scientifically proven actives – but it feels amazing and is very luxurious. They definitely have beautiful packaging and wonderful textures, but the ingredients are truly lacking and for the price you could get much much better products. Just my opinion – don’t everyone jump on me now LOL 🙂

    • Ha true. I got some dewy skin cream as a gwp and I feel so fancy using it but it totally doesn’t work as well as my CeraVe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • I’m right there with you! I love their packaging, but you can get much better products for less. I’ve actually bought a few of their travel items and refill the containers with other products.

  3. Everytime I see a Luna comment I know it is a must read with good info

    • Thanks Cary! 😀

  4. I’ve been lusting after their primer and have heard wondrous things about this brand. Decisions. Decisions.

  5. QVC also has a 3-piece set called Brighten & Hydrate for $137.50 (+$3.50 shipping) (also on Easy Pay) which includes (all full-sizes):

•5-fl oz The Deep Cleanse ($38)
    •5.1-fl oz The Essence ($95)
•1.7-fl oz The Silk Cream ($120)

    • Girl, you need a column somewhere. For real!!! 🙂 …. maybe MSA can make a “beauty on the beat” space. Liz?

      • I think it would be really cool if MSA had a beauty deals section on the site too! Maybe even a gwp section too? Oh! and a freebie section? There’s a decent number of free beauty products out there too! I don’t know how well received it would be though since this is a subscription box site, but I’ve always thought those would be another fun thing to see on here 🙂

      • Also to include your reviews on skincare since I really love (and prefer) long term usage reviews over first impressions. That would be so helpful and fun to read.

      • I love reading other peoples thoughts on products too! I think it’s also fun to see when people’s opinions change on a product (for better or worse) after they’ve completely finished a product vs. the first couple of times they used it.

Luna just have your own tab/section and put whateverrrrrr you want. I will read everything you post religiously! lol

      • Lol!! Thanks xtina 😀

      • Are you a FabFitFun subscriber? If so, you should check out the community — there’s a thread for freebies and good deals.

As a group, we’ve managed to snag a ton of Elemis products for $5 shipping. Also, you get to choose the items you want to receive. Last year, there was a glitch in their system that gave everyone who ordered free 2-day shipping 😳

Their samples are deluxe size so it’s easy to get 3-4 samples to make the amount found in a full-size item. I stalk the Elemis website just for the sample sale to roll back around. I think it happens every month or two. 😊

      • I’ve seen that! I think that’s such a great deal! I remember the first time I heard of it was last Fall when the advent calendars were coming out, and I was even thinking one could make their own calendar for like 1/10th of the cost! lol! I’m sure you’ve heard of this, but have you seen the Peter Thomas Roth travel size sales? They slash the prices of their travel size products (some of which are 1/2 the full size) to as little as $2.50! I’ve gotten the equivalent of a $100+ full size serum for as little as $15!!! They do these sales a few times per year. I have a gut feeling they might do one again, because I haven’t seen one in a while.

Oh! And to answer your question… I’m not a FFF subscriber. I’ve been so close a few times to subscribing though (even to the point where I just needed to click the subscribe now button)! Those add-ons always seem so appealing, but that would be the sole reason for me subscribing, and I figure the cost of the box (which I think I’d give most of the items away) would negate most, if not all, of the savings I’d get from the add-ons. But having said that, I’ll never say I won’t ever subscribe. 🙂

      • what a brilliant idea!! GWP and freebie would be awesome! I didn’t even know there are freebies out there to be had!!

      • There are! But the majority of the ones I’ve seen are through company ads through Facebook. But since I don’t have a Facebook account, I can’t partake. 🙁 However, sometimes just by giving a company your email address and physical address for certain promos you can get freebies.

Have you heard of Allure’s Try It program? It’s a program where Allure will send you free samples of products with no strings attached! You have to take a fairly extensive survey on your beauty shopping habits, your likes, dislikes, etc. I signed up sometime last year, and have already received around 6 samples, the most recent one being a sample of a Pat McGrath mascara. Nice! You can sign up at tryit dot condenast dot com. 🙂

      • GWP would be fantastic! Right now I have to check other sites to keep up with those. The ability to swap those items here would be nice too…

      • Oooh, I never thought about the ability to swap those items on here if MSA had a gwp section. That would be pretty cool! Wouldn’t that be cool if we could feed all of our addictions (deals, gwps, freebies, & boxes) all in one place!??! I mean this *is* an addiction website so what better place to enable us, right?? Lol!!! 😀

    • You need to start an IG for all us MSA readers to follow with discounts and freebies/bonus deals!

      • I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been told to start a blog, YT channel, and IG & Facebook account, but commenting on this blog is as “social” as I get! I’ve never even had a Facebook account! I like the idea of doing all of those things, and if I didn’t have the full-time job I already have (which I love, so no quitting in my future unless I win the lotto!) I totally would! 😀

    • Yup. I buy all my Tatcha products from QVC. I get alerts when Tatcha is on because I never want to miss out on their Today Only deals.

      • Nice! I’ve heard they sell out really fast! Before I posted about the QVC set, I checked first to make sure it was still available since it’s been out since yesterday (I think), and I was shocked to see it was still in stock!
